Solved

Hey folks, I already planned my trip to Europe, but im curious to know if i need to buy to 2 month pass or if just with 1 im okey; Our trip stars on the 22th of this month and it will be ending by the 11th of august. The app suggest my at least 7 travel days, since we´ll be moving from UK to France, France-Switzerland, and then Switzerland to Rome (final destination)But im not clear if its seven days of travelling within a callendar month or that we have 30 days to use those 7 travel days

We are a family of three and we planned our entire trip on the website. We gave the trip a name and bought seat reservations. Now when we added ourselves to the app the trip shows up, but not the seat reservations.I have printed the seat reservations, so we have them on paper (and also digitally as pdf’s on our phones), but why do they not show up on the phone, when they do on the website? This is very confusing.

Hi. I am travelling tomorrow tomorrow for our second day of the pass. I can’t add the trip I want as the trip connected to my pass is the first days trip. I need to cancel the first trip and add the second but can’t seem to do that. Any suggestions? thanksgraeme

Me and my five friends are arriving to Milano Centrale at about 10.20 today. We have made reservations for Bernina Express from Tirano at 14.24. Do any of you have any recommendations how we can get to Tirano in time? We have discovered that the direct train between Milano and Tirano that we have saved to out Interrail-app, is no longer existing. Please help!!

I have a seat reservation from Berlin HBF to Paris Est done by Rail Europe. Now the departure time changed from 11:55 to 11:08. My question is will this reservation still be valid. Train Number and date didn’t change only the departure time. I asked rail europe, but the didn’t give me  an answer which is about departure time change only.Horst

Dear community,I am planning my trip around Europe this summer. It is not a real route, just the journeys I need a train for, so I figured I might as well use Interrail! My plan is the following:Amsterdam - MannheimMannheim - AmsterdamRijeka - LjubljanaLjubljana - AmsterdamNow, I’ve just came to realize that I can only leave & return to Amsterdam (in homecountry) once, so I will probably fix something from Mannheim. ——> But the real question is: Can I make a break in my schedule between Ams & Rijeka (as I am driving there for other reasons) and continue with the travel days from Rijeka? Or do all destinations have to be linked to each other?  Thank you in advance for answering, it would help me a lot! All the best, Nina

I have always activated my travel day the night before and never had an issue. Today on SNCF they said I improperly activated the day before and were going to fine me. They say in France you have to activate the travel day on the actual day of travel. I have been using eurail for 3 years and never had an issue. And my pass says valid today! Is it true that France is different?

I am not intending to travel until August 18th. Have I accidently screwed myself over by adding this journey to My Trip on the app? (This is supposed to be on the 18th but I didn’t adjust the date). Also, how can I remove it?EDIT: I should add that the pass validity period shows as 8/17 with 0 days used. Thanks!

I have bought the passes, created a trip, added all travellers and bought seat reservations for the entire trip, and now I want to add the trip on the devices of the other travellers. How do I do that? As mentioned above all travellers are connected to the trip in my profile (that I haven’t activated yet), but when I add a person to the app on another device, the created trip doesn’t show.I am afraid to active the passes on their phones, as I’m afraid I will lose everything, since the trip doesn’t show on their devices. This system is VERY hard to figure out and not logical at all.

Hello,I ordered a Paper Pass but Interrail wrote the wrong address (they missed the door number and yes, I’m sure it was them). The Paper Pass came to Portugal and is returning to the Netherlands and nobody even notified me, neither through phone or email. I have contacted customer service request (#1075051) but since I leave in less than a month I am getting nervous with this.I have all my reservations booked and now the most important part is missing! How long will the pass take to be returned? Do I need to request a refund for THEIR mistake? Even then it will take forever to get a new one! Or can I just simply switch to a mobile pass? (I know I can’t but maybe somebody here knows about something).Honestly I would just like to get the paper pass in my hands without any extra cost and in time for the trip but I know that’s too much to ask…Any help will be greatly appreciated.Guilherme.

hi. back at the end of May my girlfriend and I bought 2 tickets for the night train from Prague to Budapest but now we can't find that departure no matter where we search for it. The train is IC 577 Metropol/EN 477, departing on July 23 at 10:01 PM and arriving in Budapest at 8:29 AM on July 24. We hope that some of you can help us solve the mystery as the contact with CD.CZ is not entirely optimal unfortunately.

Hi everyone, My family (6 adults, 1 toddler) will be travelling from Evian les Bains to Brussels this September. Just curious what everyone recommends as the best route. I’m trying to do it the quickest and cheapest. I don’t mind buying separate legs if we need to go to a city then buy a separate ticket to Brussels from that city. I find that sometimes picking my own layover times help with saving money on the tickets. Thanks in advance!!

When I go to book and it says seat reservations required but I can’t find a book button below. It just says seat reservations required. How do I book the seats for the train

Hi: We’re currently trying to book seat reservations for our Interrail journey, as some of the trains we plan to take require them. However, when we search on the Interrail.eu website, we receive the message:"No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable."Despite this, when we check other booking sites such as tickets.oebb.at, it shows that there are seats available—so we’re a bit confused. On top of that, it says seat reservations start from €6, but when we go to reserve on these third-party websites, the prices jump to over €60 per person. Also, these third-party websites don’t allow us to use the free DiscoverEU reservations. We are booking our seat reservations now, around two months in advance, because none of the trains allowed us to reserve seats earlier. Please if it has happenned to any of you and can help us, we would be grateful.

I won 4 credits for seats reservation beside the interrail ticket. Now the seats were in my cart, but they weren‘t available anymore and it says that I have to remove those. This is not possible and now for 3 days nothing changed! Therefore I can‘t book any seats, because in my carts are these seats in which I can‘t remove:( any tipps?

Hello. My wife and I have Eurail passes for September and one of the routes that we want to take is Lucerne to Interlaken Ost. When I checked the Eurail website yesterday it directed me to the Zentralbahn website to buy a reservation. Today, it says a reservation is not necessary. The Zentralbahn website is saying that only 6 reservations are left on the 9:06 train, and none at all on the 8:06. The price of a reservation (not a ticket) from Lucerne to Interlaken is CHF 58, which seems like a lot. My question is do I really need a reservation, and if not, could I travel on a train that says that no reservations are left? In other words, are they selling a limited number of reservations, but there are still many other seats available. Thanks for any help

I’m having a difficult time figuring out if my route is affected on July 8th. I’m travelling from Riomaggiore to Milano Centrale via Monterosso I have my trains listed belowRiomaggiore to Monterosso RE12302 - 10.03amMonterosso to Milano Centrale IC666 - 10.33amAre these trains affected? I’ve tried to look at the websites but I’m having a difficult time navigating. I was told by a local that earlier departures from Riomaggiore (7.58am) should not be affected but I cannot seem to change this on my mobile pass. Can I still board an earlier train with my mobile pass?

Hi there, I bought two passes yesterday but mistakenly write the wrong information, so I submitted a refund request and it was approved, but  I haven’t received the refund yet, I am writing to check its status and also ask about the specific time.

I was planning to travel with my child from the UK to Belgium, Germany, France using 7 day passes but every Eurostar I check is sold out of seat reservations and ferries seem to be very expensive.Should I forget just forget travelling by train this July/August?Is there an easier way to check which Eurostar trains do have seats available instead of clicking each individual train departure? Our travel dates are flexible but we have to be able to get from and to the UK!Thanks in advance!

I’ve got my itinerary listed on My Trip but nothing on MyPass.   The instructions say go to My Trip and tap to add the journey to my pass. Can anyone tell me tap what?

Hello,We've seen the changes to the Lesce-Stuttgart night train, but we wanted to know which replacement trains have been implemented and the associated schedules, as it's not at all clear. I don't understand which train we should take from Lesce to Jesenice and what the schedules are for these new trains, i.e., from Lesce to Jesenice, from Jesenice to Villach, and then from Villach to Schwarzach-St-Veit.The information we received was really insufficient. Please respond and provide us with the requested information, as we needed to book other trains later. We still want a refund for this train because the service really doesn't match the price paid, but we've been waiting for a response from the company for over a week.Sincerely,Louise Furet

Need to activate my pass like right now for June 25 I can’t wait until September how can I work around that

Hello dear Community,We're traveling on July 19th/20th, 2025 from Switzerland via Munich - Hamburg - Copenhagen to Oslo. We've already booked our train seats with DB up to Copenhagen. Here's a question: Is a 21-minute transfer time in Hamburg enough for us? If the DB timetable information is correct, our train from Munich arrives on the same platform (06:42) from which the train to Copenhagen departs (07:03) (Platform 11). Is that possible? Would you recommend reserving the next train from Hamburg at 08:50 AM?What worries me a bit more is that DB shows "seats fully booked" for the Copenhagen - Lund connection. On SJ.se, our desired train from Lund is marked "Preliminary"! I can find the connection on all timetables, whether it's DB, SBB, or the Railplanner App.When will it be definitively confirmed that this train will run?Thank you for your knowledge, greetings Yasmin

I purchased a 5 day pass for my registered disabled son. Then i obtained a free carer pass for myself to accompany him. My problem is connecting the two passes to same trip so i can reserve adjacent seats on trains ( very important for my son ). The system only lets me reserve one at a time so no guarantee of adjoining seats . Any advice  ?
