Solved

My first time using Eurail is coming up in September and October this year.  I have purchased 2 senior global passes on Eurail mobile app.  I have seat reservations purchased on Rail Europe (printed with QR codes) for 2 different Eurostar legs.  I also have two 1st class seat only reservations for two more trips purchased via the Db Bahn website that show up in their mobile app on my phone - these have no QR code.I have researched quite a bit to figure out how to use these seat reservations with our Eurail passes but I am confused about the following:1- do I set up the trips in the Eurail app and connect them to my Pass even though I am not buying seat reservations via the Eurail app?   2- If so, how do I use one of the travel days I have with my Eurail Pass with the trips for which I have seat reservations purchased via other sites.3 - Do I just show the printed seat reservation tickets from Rail Europe when boarding the train or while on the train and also show my Eurail pass (and pa

If I purchase the Stretch Your Summer 20% off pass now, can i start using the pass in November?

Can I buy train tickets without having a travel pass?

Afternoon all,Just having a panic!Am trying to add a prebooked (already paid seat booking/reservation) ticket to a journey day whist on my App on the mobile. Any advice helpful :) Thank,Daniel

Hi, I purchased a 7 day travel day (mobile pass) w/in 1 month last night and went to activate my pass/input my passport # in when I saw that I could not enter the desired dates for travel. I want to start using my pass July 1st but it is only allowing me to start it September 1st. I’ve tried everything I can think of to adjust it (including deactivating and then reactivating it) to see if I can move the dates…but nothing as worked. I never saw any specifications of dates when I purchased the pass, so I’m very confused. What do I do? My mom and I leave Tuesday and I want to get this sorted. Thank you!

Partirò da Bologna domenica diretta in Olanda come prima tappa non so se fermarmi a Friburgo o a Strasburgo. Cosa mi consigliate?

Hi. I can’t believe I have to ask this but I have read through the whole website, watched the videos, read the FAQs and tried to find answers in the Community. Still, I’m confused with trips, journeys, activations, tickets and so on. I believe I will find my way through it when it’s time to travel, but to avoid extra stress, my question is: are these (below) the right steps to use the Mobile Pass?I have the “5 days per months pass”. I have the app and I have connected my pass to it. Is this what I’ll do next:1) Create 5 trips, one for each travel day, and connect them to the pass2) Find the right journeys for each travel day and connect them to the right trip (or is that possible before the pass is valid?)3) Activate the pass when day one is coming closer4) On travel day, create a ticket by choosing the right journey from my trips and add it to the pass (will this also activate the ticket?)

Is there a 1st class lounge for Eurail 1st class pass holders in Naples and if so, where would I find it?

So I’m planning on travelling from Germany to UK then back to Germany.I realise I can’t then use the pass to leave Germany again; but if I pay for my own ticket to get to Poland can I use any residual days on my pass in Poland? Thanks for any help and advice

Hello, we didn’t understand the app and now maybe have a problem. We sign in in the app and make our resevation with the passa namber and our names following app instructions (we thought). So we have all our reservation, we recived by email and we have on paper and in the selfphone, but not in the app. will it be a problem? We leave tomorrow and are a little worried. Thanks

Hello,  we leave tomorro and when I try to introduce the pass says that details don’t match. What can we do.

We want to travel from ljubljana to budapest 19th of july.As the direct train doesn't go in july we are looking for an other route. Right now our best option looks to be 8:55 from budapest via Wien and Graz so we will be 17:37 in Ljubljana. In Graz the transfer time is short, 5 minutes. What do you think of this route and the short transfer time? Are there better options?

Hi, I’m from Italy and intend to make an interrail tour in Portugal and Spain. I will fly in to Portugal and fly out from Spain. Can I use my outbound and inbound travel days to travel within Spain/Portugal or are these only valid for travelling out of / in to Italy? To buy one-country-passes for Portugal and Spain doesn‘t make too much sense as at some point I will travel from Portugal to Spain… Looking forward to receiving your advice,Ursula

For my ferry going from Venice to Patras I made a reservation that doesn't appear on the app when I want to add my trip. Can I add whatever to just get the QR code for my travel day and then show my separate tickets for the ferry? Or does the reservation need to match rhe trip added to the app? Also, other trips departures and arriving times are not what the ones on their own websites say.Thank you so much for you help!

Hi, I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to ask for assistance with booking seat reservations for my Interrail journey. I already have my Interrail Pass, but I’m finding it difficult to book seats because it gets stuck loading. Does anyone know how to fix this?

From what I have read, it looks like you can only book a private compartment on the French sleeper (couchette, really) trains if you buy tickets directly and not if you buy using a pass discount.Or, to put it another way, if you book with an Interrail pass you have no choice but to be in a shared compartment. This post indicates you can/might be able to book by calling SNCF, but it’s a year old and things change. Can anyone advise if you can book a private compartment over the phone?  My train dates aren’t on the system yet so I don’t think ringing SNCF to buy a hypothetical ticket will end well.Is there is any other way to ensure a private compartment? And finally . . . is this just something the booking engine can’t support, but SNCF can, or is it just a programming/loading oversight?

We are hoping to limit the number of phones we have with us and I’m wondering if we can load two passes on one device.  Also, how do we upload child passes?

Hello, I am unsure on what dates I can do yet for summer 2026. How far in advance do I need to book my trip? Thanks, Piper.

HiWe are currently planning a trip that includes a long day from Munich, Germany to Newcastle, UK. (Munich to Paris by ICE / Eurostar Paris to London / LNER train to Newcastle)In theory this is very doable with the correct allowances made for connections etc… ...however I am concerned what happens if a train is delayed to the point that we would need to continue on the following day.I’m not too concerned if the ICE causes us to miss the Eurostar as I know they are typically pretty good with this, it’s more that final trip from London to Newcastle. Say we are delayed such that we end up on a train that arrives into London on the Saturday after the last train to Newcastle has departed my understanding is that we would then require a hotel and a train on the Sunday. The two key questions are:What are we entitled to in this situation? How does one prove /obtain that entitlement?

Hello,We had added a train to our Eurail Pass before it was changed by the train company (DB).Now we’ve been moved to a different train. What happens with the old reservation and the pass entry?Do we need to update the train details on our Eurail Pass? Also, do we have to book new seat reservations, or is the old one still valid?Thank you!

I have reserved seats through the app and received my car and seat number. I would like to view a seat map ahead of my trip but I need to know the specific train operator.  How do I find that information? The only thing next to my trip is EXP Express
