Hi all!I’m planning to go from Paris to Malmö through Amsterdam, Hamburg and Copenhagen. Once Malmö is finished, I’d like to go to Berlin via the boat company Stena Lines, from Trellborg (Sweden) to Rostock (Germany), then Rostock → Berlin, spending a few days in the German capital before heading back to Paris.  How do I manage to plan in my Interrail trip the Rostock - Berlin and the Berlin - Paris if I take the boat? Looking for your answer if you know anything! Thank you for reading and helping 😄Alex

I would highly appreciate it if people could suggest trip ideas for a month (10 or 15 travel days) starting from Copenhagen. It can end in any country that’s fine but gotta make sure the country that’s at the end of the trip has a flight back. I would love it as a community to pitch in some ideas and maybe this could be used as a reference for people to look at without spending time deciding how long each train takes to avoid missing travel days.

Hello! Has anyone tried changing seat reservations from Business Area Silenzio to regular non-silent coach after booking confirmation? My fault for not knowing there was a different in type here and was thinking if it is still possible to change.

Hi i have a question, I'm new here. I want to book a seat reservation a night train. In the app it says that different types of seat reservations are available, for example bed in shared compartment is available for 37 euro. However when I  go to the booking site to book it, I only see normal 2 cl seats as an option, but I want to book a bed. Where do I see all options, and how do I book the bed options? Thank you..(I'm stressed)

So my question is, I have a 5 day pass, I am traveling from Netherlands to Luxembourg, I am deciding I will stay 1-2 days there, will my 5 day pass go down when I stay at a certain place?

Hey,Are the old “additional my trip lines” files with the old Interrail/Eurail logo still valid to use with a paper pass?

Hello. I am traveling from US. Flying into Geneva and going directly to Interlaken where we will stay for 3 nights. We are then traveling to Como for one night and one to Monterosso the next morning. We will be in the Cinque Terre area for two nights. Then, on to Florence for 3 nights, Milan for 1 night and back to Geneva for a night before flying out. Looks like a 6 day pass should cover the train travel. We are traveling with 6 people. A few questions:With the reservations, what happens if we miss our train or connection? Can we rebook on the next train? Do we have to pay for seats again if we already had booked them? Does anyone know if the Eurail pass covers the activities in the Bernard Oberland region? I cannot seem to find what is covered and what are discounts? Thanks for the advice!

Dear community,Eurail pass rookie here. I used paper version pass a couple of decades ago, now am very confused about the mobile pass and the planner app. I went through majority of the posts under this topic found not quite the answers I was after, I’m seeking help from you brainers. Believing no question is a dumb question especially when you spend money to organize your travel, any help or advice will be highly appreciated!!Connect your trip to pass: I searched train timetable and saved some journeys on the days I planned to travel (global pass 10days in 2 months), but didn’t connect to my pass yet. The reason being firstly not finalized the trains to take yet, as well as to avoid accidently activate my pass. I understand it works like a journey diary, and the ticket inspectors will check this on you are on board. I’m wondering: (1) do i have to finalize the journey (i.e the trains I’m taking) before activation? (2) I have a number 2 in my trip folder title, not sure what that 2 ind

I’m struggling to book simple tix from Bern to Basel in late June. There’s no booking availability on the Eurail app, and the Bahn app I’m directed to doesn’t have ability to enter Eurail passes. I don’t understand what we are supposed to do - it’s just three tix one way?? Eurail pass is first class (but I don’t think that matters). I understand reservations aren’t required, but why can’t I reserve? I know the train is available as I can book seats via the Train app (Eurail passes not accepted), but I’ve spent thousands on the Eurail passes and don’t really want to pay more again.

Starting in Malaga mid August with a 7 days in a month pass. Looking for inspiration and advice. I hope to be away for 28 days and “must do’s” are Madrid/Cuenca. Florence, Innsbruck/Vienna, Budapest and Prague. Plan then to fly home from either Wroclaw. Solo traveller 60+ so advice on packing/hostels etc most welcomed.

Guys, I wanted to know if it is mandatory to do the day of travel in and out of your country during the 7 days of travel. Are they optional? Can I use those days directly outside the my country

Hi everyone,I've been trying to reserve seats for two passengers on the Eurail website for the train from Budapest to Vienna on August 12th at 6:55 AM (EC 140) for over a week now, but without success.Every time I try, the reservation either doesn’t load or I receive an error. I’ve tried different devices and browsers, but the issue persists. I’ll attach a screenshot of the problem for reference. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any tips or recent updates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

HiI've been looking into the possibility of interrailing around Germany with my 8 y o daughter this summer. I would like to plan a bit before I buy the Pass and see whether it's a good idea but I am experiencing difficulties figuring out prices and booking etc.I think I would need a one country pass for Germany. I've understood I could also travel on a night train from Italy, but the app planner does not offer the option of the Nightjet and if I try on OBB I get a price which seems close to a full price for a couchette. Is it all this complicated, having to counter check on three apps to figure out which train, how much and do on? It feels s bit daunting... please provide any advice for first time planner with kid, that would be very appreciated. Many thanks!Cristina

I’m staying there between 16th-18th May, anyone fancy to meet and drink good coffee together?  tack!

Hi,maybe somebody has experience how to travel best in UK with an Interrail first class ticket?I have seen, there are different companies e.g. for London - Edinburgh: LNER, Virgin, …Would it be best to go by LNER because there is free food? Are there other good advices, like especially comfortable trains with first class ticket, or lounges we have to see?Maybe also some nice trains for train lovers (like old diesel Intercity trains e.g. Edinburg - Inverness)? And maybe special advice when you arrive with Eurostar at 8pm in St. Pancras. Would it be good to go for one more station heading to Edinburgh for cheaper accommodation than in London? Thanks, Thomas

I booked a trip from Paris to Geneva via the Eurail platform and then reserved the seats on the website. The return train ticket worked but I got an error on the train to Geneva saying that the reservation and payment went through but the tickets couldn’t be retrieved because of a system error. Does anyone know what to do?

I have reservations on Eurostar from London to Paris 5/19 leaving at 12:31 arriving at 15:58, then on the night train from Paris to Toulouse same day leaving at 22:13. The app won’t let me add the night train to my pass as it keeps saying the journey overlaps with another. Clearly it does not. I’ve also had trouble with the app showing incorrect times in the list of journeys added to my trip, but correct after opening the journey. Not sure what’s going on.

How does one make reservations to travel from CDG to Lyon, stay 8 days in Lyon, then travel to Lucerne and stay a day or more, then travel to Salsburg and stay a day or so, and then travel to CDG again?

Hi! I’m Davide I’m from Italy and I’m 18. I’m travelling alone through Spain (Madrid and Andalusia) at the end of july and on the first days of august. I’m searching for travel buddies and someone to travel with even if it is just for a part of my trip.

Hello! Can anyone help me recommend a route for July?I would like to leave Arad at night, arriving in Budapest at 8:50, where I will probably stay 2 nights. Can someone help me with recommendations for a route that leaves Budapest and ends up here. I would like the route to last somewhere at most 7 days, and not be necessarily long or expensive (I prefer it to be cheaper :) )I mention the fact that I have a 7-day travel pass

Hi all. I have a 4 day pass. Will travel 3 days on it then take the night train from Amsterdam to Zurich (leaving Amsterdam at 19.05) and then travel the day to get home in Italy. However, is it right that the day I get on the night train and the next day travel as two travel days…? I messed that part up I believe.Could I solve it by buying a regular ticket from Amsterdam to the first station where the train arrives after midnight (Bonn)? Amd activate my travel day from Bonn? Only 20€ I saw, would be an easy fix, right?

Hi all,I am trying to book seat reservation for TGV 6964 from Annecy to Paris on July 17th. It seems like it is not running on that date or the day before. Does anyone know of any planned interruption or any other reason why it it would not run on those dates? Thanks in advance,Kasper

Hi, I am going on a trip with 3 other friends this summer. We have all bought the Eurail pass and am starting to book some night trains ahead of time. One concern I have is ensuring that we are all in the same cabin when booking couchettes. I have added my friends to my trip, but that just makes me have to pay for their tickets as well when booking. Is there any way to have my friends pay for their own tickets but still ensure that we will all be together on the overnight trip? Thanks!

Realmente es necesario tener impresos en papel las reservas????
