Solved

If someone could shed a bit of light I would be most appreciated.   I have not activated my pass yet as we are not using until 8 May 2025.   In my trip I have London/Marseille, which is connected to a “mobile Pass” and both bookings have our names on it.   I have also added other trips on various dates that we are going to take which say “Not connected to a mobile pass”, will they be connected to my mobile pass once I activate and I make them into a journey, still trying to work that part out?   I also cannot see the details of those trips that I have created, which makes it hard to know what I have actually booked, if that makes sense.   I have never used once of these passes before.  I am sure someone will know the answer.   Thanks.

Next July i'm going to do an Interrail trip in Germany with my friends, everyone bought their own individual pass but when we book reservation for a train at same time the system that assigns seats far from each other. Is there a way to have near seats?I also view that in the home page of my presonal interrail account there is the option to add people at interrail journey, but what exactly is this function for? does it allow me to book seats close together?I hope someone can answer me, if so thank you very much

Hello Community, so I have a question. I will travel to paris on the 20th May. If I look for a seat reservation for the train from munich at 5:50am in morning. When I want to book it direct from munich → paris  i can not book it. When I book from Munich → Karlsruhe  I can book a seat (even if i dont have to) When I book the same train from Karlsruhe → Paris , i can also book Same for raileurope etc. When I go to Bahn.de it says that this train is not going from munich at all. There it says this train starts in Karlsruhe.  Does anybody know if this train will drive from munich to karlsruhe and then to paris? 😅Thanks you :)

Hello  This Summer i’m traveling from Kemi to Helsinki. I know reservation are Not required and can only made by calling VR and costs 25% of a Ticket. My Question is, if I wanna reserve a Single Seat in the new Ekstra Relaxed Class, is the reservation cheaper, if I have a Interrail 1. Class Pass or the Same price with a 2. Class Pass? For Example:I checked the Price of a normal Ticket on the VR WebsiteFor Eko Class is 45€, with the Upgrade to Ekstra Relaxed Single Seat is 58€I think with a 2. Class Pass I have to Play 25% of the 58€ and with a 1. Class Pass? Also 25% of the 58€ or only 25% of the 13€, the Upgrade Price? GreetingsStefanix19

how to remove trip name & rename each trip individually ?

I will be traveling from London to Paris, returning to London two days later. Is there a Eurail pass for 1-day or 2-day travel? Also, will the reservation be included or is that additional?

I recently purchased an Interrail pass for Italy as a French resident. I am trying to book a direct train ticket from Paris to Milan for August 18th, departing at 9:46 AM, using this pass. However, I am encountering an error message in French that states: "Un ou plusieurs Pass ne couvrent pas ce trajet. Sélectionnez les voyageurs qui disposent d’un Pass valable sur ce trajet pour pouvoir réserver."Could you please help me understand why my Interrail pass is not being accepted for this route and how I can resolve this issue?Thank you for your assistance.

I just purchased a pass and have started entering my itinerary. Most of the trip is through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The TripPlanner worked fine in Denmark and Sweden parts but in Norway it doesn’t recognize or allow me to add some locations, specifically Gudvangen and Vossevangen as part of a segment from Oslo to Bergen.  The stops should be from Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-boat to Gudvangen-bus to Vossevangen-train again to Bergen. Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen are all in one day. It also has some dates wrong and won’t allow correction.  I’m doing this on a laptop because it’s easier for me than a phone. Should I only be entering the train travel? If so there will be gaps in the dates and locations. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me sort this out.

Hey, i’m trying to book my trip from Biarritz to Vigo. Every train however requires a reservation that i cannot book, it just says “No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.”I was able to book a reservation for every other trip, but i can’t book a single one for this one. Am i too late? Is there a different way I can book reservations? Are they mandatory or can I also do it in the train there?Im new to this, and i’m completely lost with this part.Thank you  if you are able to help! First part of the tripSecond part of the trip (it wouldn’t fit in 1 screenshot)

Hello! I want to travel to Italy with the One Country Pass. I've just read that the pass is only valid on trains within Italy. Does that mean I have to pay for a separate private train ticket for a train journey from Germany to Italy? Thanks for your help!

Good afternoon guys, I recently want to make reservations of trains mid may  and when Im about to use eurail online page to check them out, I couldn’t find my pass and added coming trip that I have made in rail planner. What should I do?  thank you in advance for the inconvenience caused, this is my first time to Europe and im traveling alone, not so sure about the connections between the app and the page. I haven’t activated the pass, just added it in the app and created the trip, not sure if that’s the problem.

Hi, I'm travelling with my partner and we want to go from Bari to Milano on the evening of 1st of May. There are two lines with direct night trains leaving at around 21.00 from Bari which is perfect. However I can't seem to be able to reserve the 2p sleeper, only spaces in 4p couchette, which is not preferable for us. I have tried through app.italiarail.com but can't get it to work. Booking without Interrail ticket seems to work though, so I believe there are still beds available.  Would really appreciate some help or advice!

Trying to make seat reservations on Renfe to travel from San Sebastián to Vigo via Madrid, preferably on AVE from 9 July 2025 (doing it in two/three hops). When do these seats become available to book ? I can see there are tickets on Renfe for these dates but they don’t appear to be on AVE trains. Very difficult to understand the system and when tickets are available to buy.

I would like to make reservation for next week on a fast train from Madrid to Cordoba. Do I need to book in person?

I am trying to make bookings for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children (under 12) for a trip from Oslo S to Bodoe via Trondheim. I was given to understand that RegionTog trains offer free reservation for First Class holders and that's what I was trying to do. But the App does not give any option for entering the Eurail pass. Also need a clarification, whether Night trains also offer any such free reservation for First Class pass holders? Thanks in advance for your time.

I am looking for routes in Spain from Zaragoza to Vigo. (July)I can find the routes using other travel sites - even with Renfe trains but not through the Eurail site.  I have tried breaking the trip into segments and still no luck.Any tips or tricks?

HelloI booked a reservation a few months back via DB for the EC56 from Krakow Gl to  Berlin HBF. But now when I check the Eurail app/ site, that train isn’t listed. I have the Eurail 1st class global pass. How can I check that my pass is valid on that direct train?CheersJon

Hey - finalising our route for September 2025 and I’d like some advice please! We are getting the train from Glasgow with a 4yr old - she’s a great traveller. We plan spending around 10 days in Northern Italy and Southern Germany, but have around 20 days in total for the trip. We want to take a different route there and back, with short stops on the way to break up the journey, recognising that we won’t really be experiencing these cities fully. This is what I’ve planned so far:Day 1: Glasgow > Paris Day 2: ParisDay 3: Paris > LyonDay 4: LyonDay5: Lyon > Northern Italy TBCDay 6 - 10: Northern Italy TBCDay 11: Verona (via Lunch in Innsbruck) > MunichDay 12 - 16: MunichDay 17: Munich > Cologne Day 18: CologneDay 19: Cologne > BrusselsDay 20: Brussels > Glasgow So my questions are:Do you have any thoughts on the trip route and the short stops in these cities, would there be any alternatives?  Northern Italy - what do you suggest? We’ve done Milan and Lake Como a few t

Hi!!!  I’m traveling from Lithuania to Latvia and am wondering whether it is possible by train. After some research I found out that there are no trains between the countries and that none of them will take me over the border. If this is the case I wonder if I should use a bus. If I do, is it possible to use the Interrail pass in them when I’m buying the ticket? I have a Global pass that will be activated until August 2023.  Thank you in advanceMirna Joronen

I’m currently facing a problem. I used a travel day for an overnight journey from Prague to Budapest, departing Prague at 22:01 and arriving in Budapest at 8:29 AM, with no stops or train changes after midnight — it was a direct train. Before boarding, I activated my travel day, but I don’t understand how the app allows you to activate a travel day without adding the journey first. If adding the journey is necessary and mandatory, why does the app allow this? Now I have an issue because I used a travel day, but there’s no QR code showing up anywhere.Additionally, the Czech railway company controllers told me that my Pass code was invalid and they couldn’t find it. I showed them the official Eurail confirmation email, the order number, the payment receipt — everything — but it was not accepted. I even showed them the email with the Pass code, but it didn’t help. It’s very frustrating to encounter these issues during such a long trip.Has anyone experienced something similar?

I would like to travel only in France. So I would like to buy a three days pass for France. There is a border in Geneva where we can only take trains to go to France.  As we have to cross a border, I wonder if this part of the station is considered as Switzerland or already France? Thank you

I booked a Nightjet train for me and my wife scheduled for May 25 which departs Firenze S.M.N. at 21:48 and arrives at Leoben H.B.F. at 6:25 via Nightjet 40294 on May 26 and then we transfer to Salzburg and arrive at 9:44 via Eurocity 218. I got a notification saying that the journey has changed with a change to the timetable and that my ticket will remain valid. However, it gives alternative trains and the option to pay for them again. Do I need to do this? I cannot tell what actually changed with my booking. There is still an alternative option taking Frecciarossa 9592 to Milano Centrale and then getting on the same Nightjet train to Leoben and then going to Salzburg, but it looks like it is asking for me to pay for this. I’m just not sure what to do and on top of that, my phone carrier is currently not letting me make international calls to OBB which is who I booked through. I’m working on getting that fixed as well.  Any help would be appreciated to at least relieve some anxiety. T

Hi, I’ve been on the https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/ for about an hour trying to plan a trip from Wales to Stuttgart. The journey requires 3-4 high speed trains. The trouble is - everytime I check seat reservation on this route, it says “sold out”. This is recurrent on every train I’ve searched across multiple dates. The route uses UK train (Avanti), eurostar, TGV and DB (or can avoid TGV if you go via Brussels. It’s just so odd that every single train across every single time period is sold out. I’m searching at the beginning of the summer holidays (late july, early August), but I can’t believe this is the case 3 months before departure. Is there something I’m missing? I haven’t used interrail for 5+ years, has it got really popular in the meantime?!

I would like to travel 11. august 2025 from Vienna to La Specia. Right now, I cannot see possibility to book a ticket in the train. I would like to be sure that this train will be really operated on this date. I can see only trains to Milan or to Roma. Could you please make me sure that this train is planned for the summer and from whitch date it will be possible to book a ticket for my travel. The connection is possible to book now, till 29.may.2025 later, it is written, that cannot be booked. I am trying to find when the tickets and if really, will be available.thank you

Hello, I have a reservation for the train from Bologna to Messina. However, I would now prefer to depart from Milan instead of Bologna. It will remain the same train (Milan 8:10 PM -> Bologna 11:05 PM -> Messina 12:45 AM). Is it possible to change my reservation for free without canceling the original reservation? Thank you.
