Hello everyone! I am trying to book the night train from Zurich to Amsterdam from within the ÖBB App and although it registers the Eurail discount option the same is not reflected in the price. The price is €99 per passenger as shown in screenshot below:  Obviously I'm missing something very simple here but can't figure it out! Can someone point me to it? Thanks in advance...

Purchased two global passes for 7 days already, our trip is only on 3rd April but can seem to figure how to reserve seats from Amsterdam Centraal or Rotterdam to Eiffel Paris.

are the 4mins transfers too short…is the station rlly big?

Hi, my husband and I will be flying in to Prague and spending a few days there before heading to Vienna. After spending a few days in Vienna, we would want to go to Salzburg, Hallstatt and a few other places of interest in Austria. All by train. The business class train ticket from Prague to Vienna is EUR 153.60 per person. I have not checked the train fares from Vienna to Salzburg and onward to Hallstatt and eventually, back to Vienna to fly home. Here are my questions:-(1) If I were to buy the 1st class Eurail pass for both my husband and I, do I still need to go to OBB website to book seats from Prague to Vienna? I am planning to book the business class seats in Railjet train(2) What pass can I use within Prague and within Vienna? I understand that the Eurail pass is not the same as the Swiss Travel Pass; whereby, the latter can be used on all modes of transport within the country and within every canton(3) Can the Eurail pass be used to travel by train from Vienna to Bratislava to Pa

Hi. Trying to get my head around this pass.I have booked separate seat reservations on both the Eurostar & Interlaken > Lucerne Express for particular dates in August.I have added these journeys on the Eurail Planner app. Will I need to activate my pass now to save the train bookings for these dates? If I wait to activate, is there a possibility the trains will book out, making my seat reservations useless?

If on my trip with ICE from Amsterdam to Luzern , we miss the connection in Olten to Luzern,  can we use the next train without any ussues?

Can i buy a pass for myself and one for my partner through my account? Or does the account automatically put my name on any pass I buy? Also, when we have the passes can we both have both passes on both our phones in case we lose a phone? Thank you

The app suddenly stopped showing travel days. Tried reinstalling but didn’t work. Tried deleting and readding trips and now trips will not add to pass. This means I do not have access to code to scan to prove I have a pass. All booking still show on website.

I have been trying to get a pass cover number but when I  try to fill in the required field it will only accept 4 characters - it won’t load the last two o-  and so I can’t get the number which I need urgently to make reservations.  Please advise on what I can do… Thank you

Hi! Recently, I was looking into seats on the Intercité de Nuit between Paris Austerlitz and Toulouse Matabiau. The three possibilities (2x 2nd class, 1x 1st class) both just say ‘TARIF EURAIL INTERRAIL’. Does anyone know what kind of seats you actually get with these options? For example, would the 1st class option be a 4-person couchette, or should I think more in the direction of 2-1 seating plan? Many thanks!

Hello everyone!Just landed at Copenhagen Airport and activated my Eurail Global pass. Planning a trip to Hamburg, Germany. The guy at the DSB ticketing counter is telling me I have to go the main Railway Station which is Kobenhavens Lufthaven... Which is CPH Lufthaven in English, I suppose. But isn't that the airport station itself? I mean, I am at the airport station itself because I just flew into Copenhagen Airport...Can anybody point me to the name of the station I need to enter on the pass to catch trains to Hamburg? Thanks in advance!

My husband and I are going to travel together, but keep our own pass on our own mobile (so that we still have a mobile as backup should we lose a mobile, and can get the lost pass reactivated on the remaining mobile with some customer services help). My question is how I connect a trip to passes that sit on separate mobiles. All the instructions seem to be about connecting trips to passes that sit on the same mobile.  I have already booked any necessary rain reservations for us jointly, so that is not a problem. I hope someone can help.

Hi everyone,I'm seeking assistance with an issue I've been experiencing while trying to book four tickets on the Nightjet (EuroNight) train from Budapest to Berlin for August 5, 2025. Each time I attempt to purchase the tickets and click on the "Pay" button, I encounter the following error message before even entering my credit card details:"This option is no longer valid. (NJ-Code: NJ-01, TS-Code: WBS19230, Public ID: c76596267a8e4469a657b5ccb1f6798d, Support ID: NIGHT1_53po52eo)"Moreover, with each failed attempt, the ticket price increases significantly. Initially, the fare was €64 per ticket, but it has now escalated to over €130 per ticket, and I'm still unable to complete the purchase.I have also attempted to book tickets for August 4, 2025, but encountered the same issue. When selecting the credit card payment option, the error occurs before I can enter my payment details, and the ticket prices increase. I tried purchasing through other websites; although the payment was initi

Hey! Couple of asks here if anyone could help me please? How easy is it to get to platform 2? I've been looking at the map for Midi train station and I think it's on the ground floor so there's no need to worry about coming down escalators?I'm not great with coming down on an escalator. Is it straight forward to get from Ghent to Bruges and is it better to get single tickets for each way?

Hey:) so some friends and I want to go from Zurich to Palermo by train. We saw that there was a train from Milan to Palermo, so we thought we could take it as a night train, which would count as one day. Now that we are planning in the app the only options that show up all have 4-8 connections and some don’t include the ferry (which the train goes on) Can someone tell me if it’s even possible to take the night train from Milan to Palermo with interrail? Should I ask an Italian train office?

Hello community, what are your experiences with Interrail in 1st class? What are the pros and cons of 1st class versus 2nd class? We're traveling to Denmark. Maybe on to Norway. Is it true that seat reservations are included with a 1st class Interrail Global Pass in Denmark? We're traveling as a family with three teenagers. This will be our first train journey.thanks for sharing your experiences

I’m trying to book the Eurocity 44 train in 25/april/2025, but the train does not show up on that schedule day. Is there any reason for this?

I would like to take the ICE from Copenhagen to Hamburg. However, the connection isn't shown on the Rail Planner app, only in the DB app. So I'm not sure if I can use it with my Global Pass. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi, I’m getting conflicting information from OBB so would really appreciate some advice. We are a family of 4 (mother, father + 2 boys (12, 8)) and would like to travel on the nightjet from Brussels to Salzburg.  It’s a popular route and it appears there is only a 4 person ‘Ladies only” couchette available. I’ve spoken to OBB twice; one adviser said we would have to be split up (at great expense) but another said as we were occupying the whole couchette it wouldn’t be a problem. Can anyone advise if the whole carriage is “Ladies only”?  If not, it seems strange that this would be a problem given we would be the only occupants of the 4 person couchette? ThanksDamian

I can easily find trains on Eurail website to give me trains to get me from A to B.  But that train, if not direct, will make stops.  How can I find out what those stops are and at what times?  I can’t see to do that on the Eurail site.   Thanks.

Sorry for asking again.I want to book an overnight train, in this case a bunk bed, for two adults, one child who has a pass, but another who doesn't because he's 3 years old. How do I reserve a bunk bed for the 3-year-old? Or is he supposed to sleep in an adult's bunk and not have to reserve anything?I can't find a customer service contact, and the automated chat doesn't resolve this. Thanks!

Hello, I’m planning on going interrailing this summer, and I purchased all seat reservations via OBB. However, I did not realize I could add the interrail discount, so I booked all seat reservations via seat reservations only. I read that adding the discount would ensure that possible supplements are purchased as well, but I don’t think any of the trains I am planning on taking require a supplement. Some trains (Deventer-Hannover, Ljubljana-Budapest, and Vienna-Arnhem) do indicate that seat reservations are required. Does it matter that I purchased the seat reservations this way? Would I be fined if I did not indicate that I have an interrail pass? Thanks in advance!!
