Hi! Sitting in the station, train goes in 15 min. Seat Reservation already done. Can Not find the connection in the app. Can Not add a travelling day. Shit!!please Help!

Hi everyone,  I read somewhere that the train from Turin to Aosta in Italy is closed now. Can someone confirm this, or have more information please?

HI - I am looking at a 4 day pass in August to travel in Italy and then to Switzerland - I assume once I have bought the pass I then go ahead and book the trains - but how close to the time is it best to book?  Also, I have noticed on some of the journeys there is a change - this is not a problem, but some of the change times are like 9 minutes - if I miss the train am I ok getting the next one.  I have heard stories you could get charged extra for not being on the right train

Hello I am trying to book a reservation for the Berlin -  Budapest Night train for 22 July. Since early Jan the OBB/Nightjet websites show it is “booked up” for that date indeed it looks like it is fully booked from 21 June to 28 July, however there seems plenty of availability before and after those dates. I have also been checking the MAV website and the train doesn’t appear at all on the 22 July (previously it said tickets were not available). Is it possible at this stage that those dates are booked up or is it just that they haven’t been released as yet? Any advice gratefully received!.

Hello! My name is Andreea, I’m 19 years old, and I’m a girl living in Italy. My friend Giulia, who is also 19, and I are planning an Interrail trip this summer (late July/August), and we’re looking for people to join us. We’ll be starting in Zurich, then traveling to Amsterdam, Berlin, and possibly Krakow or Warsaw. After that, we’ll visit Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, but we’re open to changes along the way.I speak English, Italian, Romanian, and a little Russian, so feel free to reach out if you’re interested or have any questions. You can contact me on Instagram at @andr.ee.a.

I’m looking at going from Wroclaw to Torun and while there is a direct train, it’s at 6.50am and actually takes longer than journeys with a change. Faster routes later on (albeit more expensive) have a 15- or 16-minute change in Poznan - from Plat. 5 track 1 to Plat. 11 track 56 or Plat. 8 track 51 to Plat. 1 track 16. I’ve looked at a map of the station on the PKP website, but I’m not convinced either way (also because most journey searches for Poland show short connections). Also, I prefer to make a seat reservation for the second train (the first is mandatory SR). The trip will be in mid-June, but I’m hoping these routes/times are more or less what will be available then as well. Any personal experience of changing at Poznan Glowny much appreciated, thanks.

Hello,May I use Global pass for S1,S2,S3 in Leipzig ?Thank You

Hi, Good day to everyone. We are a family of 3 and would be travelling to Europe in May . Our tentative itinerary includes 2 nights in Zurich, then 3 nights each in Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt and Luxembourg. I am thoroughly confused with EURAIL global pass routes . Some have said that the ticket officer has denied validity of EURAIL pass in ICE trains for intercity within Germany. Should I buy separate tickets for inter country travel and take a EURAIL Germany pass . But , that again does not include trams and buses . Also, Should I book seat reservations in advance ? I checked through this website . It said seat reservation is not mandatory. Any advice would be helpful since I have one senior person with me and it would be difficult if there are any last minute issues. Regards.

Hi,I’m an Erasmus student from Germany currently in France. I’m living here from January until May in student accomodation, but I also still have my home address in Germany and will of course live in Germany for the majority of the year. Therefore, my question is whether I can use the one country pass for France while I’m here in France since I technically live here but it also isn’t really my country of residence.

Hello! I am planning a trip for the summer. I would like to train from London to Istanbul, in approximately 2 weeks, and stop in maybe 3-4 places on the way. Happy to use overnight trains. Travelling alone so safety is key. Any advice on routes would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hello everyone 😎 I am planning a 2 month trip next year to France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. I am travelling totally by train. With the Global Pass /Continuous 2 month Pass, does that mean it is used from major cities between countries eg Zurich to Vienna to Paris and so on or can it  be also used in say Austria, where I will be for 10 days, between all the towns I want to visit?Hope I explained this well enough to followSue

There is a national rail strike scheduled for 19 March 2025 in Italy, which is one of our travel days.I’m not sure what happens about ticket validity if we can’t travel on that date and have to do so on another day.We have reserved seats on a particular train (Messina to Palermo) and this constitutes one of our travel days - I’ve already filled in details on our paper Global First Class travel passes. The rules on travel days seem to be quite strict - do we lose that day’s travel? If we spend money on another train do we have to claim that on travel insurance?

Grazie

Hello! I have used these passes before but this time - it just seems more confusing so I hope someone can help.1. On this site - it asked if I wanted to generate a pass cover to use on trains trains - sure?. What is a pass cover? This is different than my Eurail Global Pass so what is this for? Can I book directly on other train sites?2.Also - I already worked out my itinerary and bought my tickets - can I still make a trip plan so I can see it more organized on this site (as well as that I bought some tickets through RailEurope)? 3.My trips show up on laptop but not on app - suggestions? THANKS!

Hi, my name is Jonathan and today I found out that I got the EU Pass, and tbh I have no idea where to go. I love Italy (born there) and I go there sometimes, but I feel like I should see something new. I’m from Warsaw, Poland and I will be travelling alone. Also my budget is very low ;p

I’ve read other questions and answers on the topic of strikes, including great info about guaranteed travel on weekdays and holidays, but haven’t seen anything yet about Saturday travel.  We plan to travel from Innsbruck to Ponte Gardena-Laion on Saturday, 8 March, with a train change to RV 3843 in Brennero at 13:00.  I expect we need to plan a different arrival day in Italy from Austria?  We have a flex pass.

Hi, I’m going to France this April.I have got the App from SNFC, now I can buy ordinary tickets to most trains in France but...going by Interrail means you only have to buy reservations - and on certain trains. On the app I miss the option to book ONLY seat reservations - anyone who has tried the app and actually booked a seat reservation on this app?I know that I can book reservations through Interrail, well, sometimes it´s easier to buy through the rail company. My actual problem is: Going by nighttrain from Paris to Capdenac and then from there going on to Lourdes. I have bougt reservervations the first part Paris/Caperdanac. In the morning I have to take at first a TER-train heading Toulouse and then lastly a Intercite from Toulouse to Lourdes. And then it would be nice to use this SNFC app and buy a seat for the last part - the Intercite train.I know it is not always mandatory on the Intercite trains in France to have a seat reservation. But it might be nice not to rush to much (may

Hi there! I’m a little lost at the moment. I try to get a reservation for a couchette to get from Utrecht Central to Basel SBB on 25-07-2025 departure time 20.47, arrival time 06.20. I can literally see on OBB that there are tickets available, but I don’t have a credit card and therefore am unable to pay. Is there any other way to get such a reservation? I’ve tried with NS international, but as far I can see, you can’t add an interrail card as a discountcard.

Hey, I’m located in Thessaloniki, Greece and I’m trying to plan my trip from here. I wanted Barcelona to be my first destination however I can find any roots, not even from Athens. Our railway here is owned by Hellenic Train which doesn’t seem to do trips anywhere out of the country. Has anyone ever travelled from here by train? I need some help. Do I have to go by plane and if so is this covered by the interrail pass?

Family of 6 adults, 2 kids.starting in. Venice, then to Florence for three days.  Florence to Paris for four days, then return to Venice.Trying to understand the Eurail system, where to find train stations, secure correct passes.  Any help appreciated

I would like to make a reservation for my trip in September, does anyone of you know why I can't add it to the cart?

I’m going to 4 destinations in the UK in June. I have my ticket on the Eurostar train from Paris to London. I’m having trouble understanding the other trains, so let me get this straight. For my trains within the UK, I don’t have to have a seat reservation. As long as I save the ride as a journey in the app, on the day of travel, I just show the ticketmaster my phone? I don’t actually have to go through acprail?

Hi All, I am new to Eurail and trying to book a seat reservation from Barcelona to Lourdes.  When I use the Eurail website, it shows the leg of the journey, and there are 4 different legs, with one leg requiring a reservation from Narbonne to Toulouse.  The rest of the leg states “You’re ready to Board.”  My questions are this:When I received my seat reservation in email, it only shows the one leg of the trip, but not the others.  How am I supposed to remember the original time that the train leaves on the leg that I don’t need the seat reservation? Is there an easy way to document the entire trip with all of the different legs on the website, or do I need to write them down? Some of the seat reservations are triple the other ones, but travel in the same amount of time and leave roughly at the same time.  Why are they so much more if there’s no benefit to riding them? Thanks for any assistance with these questions.-Mike

Does anyone know why this says +1 day even though the trip is only 5 hours long and does not extend overnight?
