Solved

Hello, I'm going on a trip to Spain & France this coming end of July with my boyfriend & we just bought an EU rail global pass for 5 days flexi (first class). This is our itinerary.Bilbao (Abando) to Madrid (either Chamartin or Atocha)-----30th July 2025 (6am onwards)Madrid (Atocha) to Barcelona (Sants)----1st August 2025 (6am onwards)Barcelona (Sants) to Lyon (Part Dieu)----3rd August 2025 (6am onwards)Lyon (Part Dieu) to Paris----5th August 2025 (6am onwards)Paris to Pontorson---8th August 2025 (6am onwards)Pontorson to Paris---8th August 2025 (4pm onwards)We tried reserving our first class seats on EURail but they only come out around 90 days before. Ive checked other websites like B-Europe & Renfe. Im afraid that by the time EURail reservations come out, all the seats have already been booked by other websites.Any advice would be appreciated.

Would this be an overnight trip and is it possible to book sleeping quarters if it is?

Are England, Scotland, and Wales considered separate countries when using the Eurail Pass?

I want to take the new Berlin to Paris direct (20 July 2025) and want to know about the seat reservation. From what I can find on the DB site that reservations can only be done from 15 days before. Can anyone who took this train please confirmthis?Cheers,Horst

My problem is that I want to use a night train for my outbound journey. This train starts before midnight and I have to switch trains the next morning still within my own country and then take another train to leave the country. The app splits this into two parts (most likely because the first train starts on a different day). Can I still make it my outbound trip or will it not accept it because the first train is entirely within my country? If you search the same connection in the opposite direction both trains start on the same day and it shows up as just one trip.If it doesn't accept it my current solution would be to use a different train traveling the same direction and the switching to the night train once it is past midnight but that would obviously make it more complicated and add some extra cost.

Hey all! Ok, I am planning a family trip on the train from Paris - Switzerland.  I have added the trains/times that I need, but the train in the middle does not have a way to book a seat.  Since I have it added to my trip, and I am not activating my pass until March 14th, is that ok?  Basically, I am worried that once I activate my pass and get my qr codes, that specific leg of the trip will be full which would totally mess up all the connections. Or since I do have this leg saved to my trips, am I ok?  This is my first time traveling via train if you cant tell, lol.  I have seat reservations for the first one, but the second one is what I am worries about.

Hello everyone !  I am in a deadlock as I want to travel by train from Sofia to Istanbul, but it's impossible to book a ticket online with the Eurail pass. Every website says I need to buy tickets on-site at the station in Sofia. My first question is, is it really impossible to book in advance, and secondly, is it risky to wait and buy the tickets on-site? Are there frequent trains that make the journey between Sofia and Istanbul?

Can we purchase individual train tickets from this app? Or how do we purchase a pass? We are needing 4 train rides within 2 weeks - 2 on the same day. From Berlin to Munich to Venice to Florence to Rome. Advice?

Hey guys, we‘re thinking about travelling from Amsterdam to Copenhagen this summer as a part of an 2 month Interrail trip. Now the following problem accured: the connection takes 11 hours at the moment, but if we take a look at the connections this summer it seems as if 13hours is the quickest connection. How is this possible? Or will there be more connections appearing in the next couple of weeks/months? thanks for your help!

Hi fellows, need some advise, trying to book Paris to Interlaken trains with Euro rail first class pass, currently none of the trains are available for seat booking from 5th July, up to 4th July are available to book, anyone knows when 6th will be open? Thanks

I use to book my seats for trains in Italy on öbb, but when I try for connections in april no tickets available. Is it no longer possible to book seats with öbb? When I try at trenitalia I can't choose seats only.

Hi,I am not sure, I am looking for seat reservation for 7 July from NIce to Paris for the train departing at 7:59 from Nice.Rail Europe does not show any train for this day yet, but Euro Rail shows the train but all seat reservations are sold out. Why is this that Euro Rail says sold out and Rail Europe has no trains at all for this day? Is this because the seat reservations are not open yet, or really sold out?Regards,Horst

I have a Eurail pass and my friend will buy an interrail pass soon (they are hoping for a spring sale). In the meantime, I wanted to make seat reservations for both of us on a train from Rome to Zurich (1st leg is Rome to Milan and then Milan to Zurich.) However, when I try to book seat reservations for both of us together on Rail Europe, it is asking for a Eurail pass number. I have one, but my friend is using Interrail and hasn’t purchased their pass yet. Is there a way for me to book both passes at once, even though my friend doesn’t have an Interrail pass number yet? Also the spot to type in Eurail pass number says “Eurail Global Pass 1st Class” for both of us, instead of Interrail for my friend. How would I get the other one to say Interrail instead? Thanks!

Buenas!!. Gracias!!

Dear community,I‘m planning a reservation for the SJ EuroNight 346 from Stockholm to Hamburg via the interrail reservation service, but I‘m a bit confused.I would like to know if booking a "Sleeping compartment 2 class" for my partner (female) and me (male) means that we get a shared compartment? Since it is also mentioned on the SJ website that you can choose between ladies and gents, we are unsure whether we will then be assigned separate compartments.Thank you in advance!

Hi! I'm Paul and I'm 18 years old. I'm from France and I'm looking for people to travel with me with the flex pass so I'm not alone. I'm open to routes and destinations!

We are a group of eight 18-year-olds planning to use night trains this summer with SNCF Paris to Nice, OBB Florence to Vienna with our discover eu Interrail Pass. Three of us will not receive our passes until June, meaning we won’t be able to book our trains until then. Is there any way to reserve the night trains in advance while waiting for the passes? If not, do you think we have a good chance of securing eight spots in a couchette cabin if we book in early June? Thanks!!

Hello, my grandparents are about to travel and they have bought two interrail-passes. However one of them has an iPhone that is not possible to update to iOS 16, which is the required iOS in order to download the app. So my grandma is wondering if there is any way to get both interrail-passes on her iPhone or if there is any else to do?  thanks

I want to buy a phyisical global pass, I bought one a couple of years ago and was sent to my country in South America but I don’t remember how long it took to arrive. I want to buy again the physical pass but want to send it to my first destination in Switzerland. So when I’m about to purchase it says it will arrive on april 6th in standard mail, is it there anyway to pay and extra fee to get it faster? Or please if someone had bought this recently and got it before the day it says it will arrive.

Gracias!!

Nice to meet you, I'm Bruna Kozel.I'm Brazilian and I'm going on a trip to Europe in April 2025, passing through several countries, Spain, Madrid and ending in Berlin. I intend to do many Eurail train sections, the pass for which I have already purchased. However, I need help with OBB Nighjet as I purchased an overnight flight from Zurich to Berlin on the wrong date. Does anyone know how to help me? I try to contact him but they don't respond. Thanks.
