Train connections & reservations

Did someone faced situation with the app when you enter destination the departure station disappears and it is imposible to plan the journey? How to solve it?

Hello!I’m having major issues trying to book seat reservations…We would like to take the 13:02 train from Copenhagen to Berlin June 20th, change of trains in Hamburg. Seat reservations required and I get them to my cart...but then the system says “not enough free reservations for some travellers in your package”. What?? What is this?I also tried finding the same connection via DB and other online booking services to make the booking, but it doesn’t even exist there...only connections with 2+ changes of trains.Any advice on how to be able to book the seats to these 2 particular trains?  

Hello, I am having trouble booking a bed for me and my daughter in the nighttrain napoli > milano 14th april although seems available if I can believe other websites… the interrail app lets me go through with the reservation until the very last moment when you want to confirm to pay.

Hello, at 7th April I’m driving from Stockholm (Sweden) to Dortmund (My home in Germany). On the route that the Discover EU App gives me, there is a 1:44h ride with the bus 6001 from Slagelse to Odense (Both in Denmark).Via:Korsoer Nyborg LangeskovCan I take the bus with my 7 days Interrail ticket, that the EU gave me or is there a special bus ticket that I need? Thank you for your help. KInd regards Christian 

What happens to my reservation when I miss my train because my previous one being delayed?

Hello,I want to travel from Paris to Germany. As it is a little complicated to book cross-country seat reservations I wanted to ask if you know which concequences it could have if you have no seat reservation between the last stop in France and the first stop in Germany.In fact I want to take the TGV from Paris to Frankfurt (and then continue on in Germany). I would book a reservation to Forbach (France) via travel.b-europe.com and a reservation from Saarbrücken (Germany) via Deutsche Bahn. So I would not have a reservation between Forbach and Saarbrücken (where the journey takes about 10 minutes). Do you know if this might have consequences / additional fees and if so, which?Thnaks for your answers,Simon

Hallo, Interrail-Freunde.Wir, zwei Ruheständler, planen eine Zugreise nach Nordschweden und besorgten uns dafür "Interrail-Pässe für 10 Reisetage innerhalb von zwei Monaten". Nun sitze ich tagelang an meinem Computer und versuche, die Fahrt von Hamburg nach Luleå zu reservieren. Starten wollen wir dort am 13.6.23 mit dem Nachtzug, um abends am Folgetag in Luleå anzukommen. Ich scheiterte mit der Buchung, gewann aber beim Herumsuchen folgende Erkenntnisse:1. Nur die rein schwedischen Verbindungen können über SJ reserviert werden.2. Für mehr als 4 Wochen im Voraus sind Züge teilweise überhaupt noch nicht im System. 3. Einige SJ-Nachtzüge haben6er Schlafabteile (nur 2.Klasse mit Dusche und WC gemeinschaftlich). Andere haben auch3er Schlafabteile (auch für zwei Personen buchbar) und1.Klasse (Dusche und WC im Privatabteil). 4. Die SJ-Nachtzüge starten abends in Hamburg an verschiedenen Tagen zuunterschiedlichen Zeiten:Zur Zeit um 21:19 Uhr (Fr. auch 23:57); Sa. 21:00 (auch 1.Klasse);ab So.

I have this error when I doing seat reservation. But my friend can do the same booking without error!  

Hi everyone. Does anyone have any experience of going across France by train these last few days, or knowledge of what to expect? Seems like things are quite dicey, but at the same time no formal cancellations? At the moment, my plan is to go from Dieppe on the 5:21 (Thursday 30 March 2023), to Paris and then make it to Zürich eventually that day using TERs.

I will be traveling on a EuroCity train from Switzerland to Italy soon. I have my Eurail mobile pass and have made seat reservations through Eurail. I have also printed these seat reservations out. Do I need to validate my ticket/seat reservations? If so, how do I do that?

Is there a route from milan to London without TOO many seat reservations necessary? I want to travel on 25th or 26th April, arriving not too late on 26th if possible.  Thanks.

Hello,I’m planning to travel between London St Pancras and Cologne on 1 May this year, using one of the days of my 1st class Adult Interrail Global Pass (7 days in one month). However, the timetable has changed since I bought the pass and made reservations for that day.I bought the Interrail pass and reservations for the Eurostar (through the SNCB website) on 13 March. My original itinerary was as follows, which I settled on using DB’s Reiseauskunft:09:01 London St Pancras - Bruxelles Midi 12:05 (Eurostar 9116) 12:25 Bruxelles Midi - Koln Hbf 14:15 (ICE 315)However, it appears that, since then, DB have changed the timetable for the Bruxelles - Frankfurt ICEs over the period from 29 April to 1 May. I noticed this in Reiseauskunft and it is referred to on another part of DB’s website: https://bauinfos.deutschebahn.com/linie/ICE79-ICE-INTERNATIONAL-Bruxelles-Midi-Frankfurt-M. ICE 315 now starts at Bruxelles Nord at 12:15, meaning I can’t get to it from the incoming Eurostar.My connection

I have planned my whole trip with interrail but I need to buy the ticket from Paris north to Brussels central. The interrail website does not give me the purchase details, where can I book it? My pass is an electronic one, so every train reservation is validated via qr code (I don't need paper tickets), right?

Hi Folks,I am a first time interrail traveller and I am facing an issue when planning my trip. Appreciate all the help :)I am planning to travel to Copenhagen from Munich (then to Norway and Sweden). I plan to start my trip from Munich on 6th april 2023 and reach Copenhagen on 7th april. I am facing two issues.1) To go to Copenhagen, the fastest route is via Hamburg. When I search in the rail planner app, the app is showing connections through Hamburg but with multiple changes. There is a train (IC3) which takes ~5 hours and is direct from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but it isn't showing up in interrail planner (even when I am searching a single trip from Hamburg to Copenhagen). This train is mentioned in interrail website under the danish trains section also on other websites. How can I add this train journey to my pass?2) As I mentioned, my journey starts on 6th April 2023 at 11pm from Munich. Since it's my residence country this journey will utilize an outbound journey. Hi, I have a journey Amsterdam - Berlin on 29/03. It says seat reservation recommended. 2 questions: 1- Is it really recommended for this journey or will I be fine without one? 2- If I book a seat for the 11:00, but I need to catch the 13:00, can I transfer my seat reservation or will I have to buy a new one for the later train? Thank you!

I’m looking at taking the route from France to Barcelona via Latour de Carol and noticed a wonderful piece of cross border scheduling. The Toulouse train arrives at 10:26 and the Barcelona train departs one minute earlier at 10:25!! Has anyone taken this morning train and can confirm the Barcelona train does in fact leave without waiting for the Toulouse train? Thanks.

Hello, I am trying to book a seat for Sargan to Ljubljana (night train) but it doesn’t work. It is written that seat reservation are only given in paper so I’ll to take it a the station but it is not really comfortable to me. Does anyone has already taken this train and succeed to reserve a seat in advance?  I would really appreciate some help. thanks a lot, Lola 

This is saying that I need a bus from Bologna to Prato. Is this included in the interrail price, will I need to book (I’ve selected no reservation) and is it easy to find (is it at the station and goes straight to Prato station) 

I tried to plan my trip from Inverness to Canterbury to make reservations, but the last part (London- Canterbury) does not turn up in the trip-planner. Can I not use the interrail ticket in south of London?

Hi everyone. I want to reserve a train from Cluj Napoca to Budapest but I’m unable to even add it to the cart because it says:“Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Is this really fully booked? I get the feeling that it is due to that Interrail doesnt have access to the reservation system of Hungary. However, when I go to the site of the Hungarian reservation system ( https://jegy.mav.hu/jegy/szolgaltatas-valasztas?step=3 ) it is expensive and I don’t know how to enter that I have an interrail pass. Hi, i’m travelling around Europe with a friend in april and i have a reservation question.There is a train that we would like to take from Berlin to Amsterdam on the 23rd of april, it says that we are ready to board and that we can buy a seat reservation if we like, it's not required but its “recommended” (in green). The problem is that the prices for this reservation are unavailable, which probably means that there are no reservations left. My question is, will we still be able to get on this train ? And if we can will there be any seats left or will we have to stand up for 6 hours ?Thank you !

Is there a phone number for Eurail customer service? I have tried the zen desk approach - received a couple of messages and a promise that they would investigate, but now no further contact.Alternatively is there a way to escalate the complaint?

  Anyone knows what “additional supplement required “ means, how much it costs? Is it something that has a stock like seat reservations or am I fine after booking a reservation for 12 euros.
