Hello,I have a problem with my interrail app. I booked a seat reservation with the browser (and printed the confirmation on paper) but I can’t see it within the interrail app. I was signed in, so the booking should be connected to my account. Is it enough to show the printed version? How can I manage the reservations in the app? Thank you

Hi everyone. I can´t find a trip from Slovenia through Croatia (Zagreb) -- Serbia (Begorad) - Bulgaria (Sofia) to end destination Istanbul. It doesn´t have to be this exact route. Departure in Ljubliana and arrival Istanbul only are fixed. Is there still this covid problem, that trains can´t pass the border?Or is it a problem of interrail website? Does anyone know more here? Planing this is already quite complicated, which makes me considering doing this trip in the Balkans at all. It seems to be stressful. What do you think? Is it still worth it? Thanks, Laura
I am wanting to take eurostar from London to Amsterdam 6/25/23 but it is blacked out. Are they sold out? Jimb
Hello everyone,Me and my 2 friends will begin our interrail on the 29th of April, and we would like to go from Milan to Budapest on a night train on the 1st of May (18:10 until 09:02). From the interrail website we saw that we could get one by going from Milan to Zurich (EC 310) and then from Zurich to Budapest (EN 40467). After buying the interrail passes, the trains say “Prices unavailable”, and after checking multiple websites we still can’t seem to find one to actually book the tickets. Are both trains already sold out? Is there any alternative to get to Budapest?Thank you in advance.
Friends, I’m trying to book reservation for my Lausanne to Paris journey for July 03. This ticket is open and I’m able to proceed with booking on sbb.ch/en website. Eurail website is not allowing me to book the same train (TGV 9268). When I click on more information link on Eurail, it mentions the journey is bookable only 3 months in advance. Can anyone help me on this ?Thank you,Bijoy

Hello everyone, I kept reading a lot of documentations and topics here but as it’s still not totally clear (and as I don’t want to risk any problem), I allow myself to ask the question : I’m planning a trip in Italy. For the outbound journey, I want go from Napoli to Paris (where I live). The journey should be Napoli - Torino and then a connection for a second train Torino - Paris. Is the full journey (both trains) included in the outbound day ? Or do I need to keep 1 travel day for this (for the first train) ? Thank you in advance
Hello. Newby here. I read a lot of negative reports about using the pass on trains that need reservations, but on trains without reservations, can I just rock up to the station and go? Surely there cant be Eurail quotas on these trains. Can I just show my mobile pass to the ticker checker?
I’m planning a multi-leg trip on one particular day, with the last leg being Eurostar from Brussels to St Pancakes. According to schedule I will arrive in Brussels (from Koln) with 90+ minutes to spare for the last train of the evening, so I expect I will be OK for the connection. I’m aware that in Eurostar terms this might be a tight connection, but it’s a timing I’m happy enough with. However . . . if one of the earlier trains is delayed and I get to Brussels too late, is this covered by CIV regulations? Will Eurostar accept my ticket and/or rebook me for a train the next morning? The information here seems to indicate this is the case, but it’s not 100% clear to me. Plus . . . the Eurostar page covering this is seems to indicate that it’s sort of covered, but not if it involves a connection, which I thought was the whole point of this particular regulation.3.3 If you purchase a ticket or series of tickets which include travel on a service other than a Eurostar train service, the
Hi, I wanted to know why there are no train schedules for June, July and August in the schedule ti plane my trip in the app?thanks
Hello Community,Can I book tickets for trains in Spain in advance on raileurope or DB? Because I want to plan my trip (end of may until end of June). When I look on raileurope, there are some connections, but they are more expensive than when I look for trains in march. Is this normal? I can also book tickets at a ticket shelter of DB in Germany right? Because when I look on the internet page of DB for suggestions, I can't see the price and next to the route is: International tariff applies. What does that mean? Do you recommend taking the Bus instead of trains in Spain? I'm thinking about going by bus from Alicante to Granada, because the train connection is very bad. Is Alsa good for that? Thank you a lot!
Hi! I’m travelling with a Global Pass with my baby/ toddler (1,5 year old) from Paris from Barcelona. I’m wondering if it is mandatory to make a reservation for him as well, considering the very high price of it. Or can I just get myself the seat reservation and have him travelling on my lap? I only found information about older kids, who probably won’t be sitting on their parents laps. Was anyone in the same situation?Thank you very much!
Hi there,I am in the process of planning my 3 month Eurail trip this summer. I am going to be in Paris June 25-31st, and hope to leave for my next destination (Milan). I have found this trip on the Eurail Planner, where it says reservations are mandatory:I am given no option to book the reservation, but also no notice that the tickets are sold out. Using some info from this forum I then went to sncf-connect.com, where I found the trip I wanted again:My questions regarding this are: Is the Eurail quota already met or is this a technical error booking through the Eurail site? I get no message about price or availability (as seen in screenshot) So if I have to book through SNCF, is the displayed price for a ticket or reservation? I understand that reservations come with the ticket, but is there some way to buy just the reservation, or is my Eurail pass basically useless for this trip and I have to buy a full fare anyways? That being said, if I have to buy the full fare, can I buy that 49
I have been attempting to plan train travel (March) in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. I have a EURAIL Global pass purchased. On train routes (Example: Copenhagen to Stockholm) seat reservations required - but they are never available. This is becoming increasingly frustrating to attempt to organize my trip and I am starting to think these passes are a massive waste of money. What are my options? Does anyone have a recommendation on how to proceed? Thank you
Hello, I have recently purchased two EURAIL global passes for my holiday to Europe in May/June - however, I am having trouble booking seat reservations through EURAIL for Italy and Spain so I am trying to book them through their respective rail websites.I found the train from Barcelona > Marseille on sncf-connect.com, but the two seat reservation is approximately 220 Euros. It is a first-class seat and I have a first-class EURAIL global pass.My question is: am I able to get a discount on my seat reservations with my EURAIL pass if I am booking the trip directly through the train service website? If not, what is the purpose of the pass if I am travelling Spain>France and France>Italy if I cannot book these tickets through EURAIL website, and am instead booking directly with the train service? Thanks so much for any assistance.
Hi, I’m new to interrailing and have purchased my tickets (myself and daughters) and have made some reservations. However, I want to move the dates on 3 reservations (each to just one day later) but can’t see how to do this and the support is very slow (from what I read here). The reservations I want to change are not until the end of August, so I have a few weeks to work it out. I have not yet activated my ticket, so hope this will help (in that the paper tickets won’t have been dispatched yet, I hope). Does anyone have any advise on how best to make a reservation date change? The travel is for Spain and France. Thanks,Simone
Hello, today I just ordered on the Interrail site a train Frecciarossa 9422 to Firenze and I just remarked that it is one day too early. I already called Trenitalia but they said only Interrail can change it. How can I do that? I don’t want refund, I just want to change it to one day later so I can continue planning the rest of the journey. I don’t understand why it should not be changeable on the same day of purchase and 2 months before the start. This thing is so complicated. Please help me. I can’t plan without knowing. The messaging system via messenger is also a horror.thanks in advance for your help.
Hi everyone. Can anyone who has traveled by night train explain to me how to book online?I want to book for the night train Maribor - Split but I can’t. By the way, the price that is on the interrail website (https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/tips-and-tricks/trains-europe/night-trains/en-lisinski 34€) is very different from the price they give when I try to simulate a reservation on ÖBB website (74€). Thank you
I have purchased a eurail pass (10 trips over two months). I will be in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Germany. My trip starts in Spain on May 9, 2023. I have made all hotel bookings so know exactly on what dates I will be traveling from city to city in Spain and Portugal .My question pertains to required seat reservations for Spain, and Portugal. I am aware that seat reservations cannot be booked online for these countries. It seems that I have to make seat reservations in Spain and Portugal at either a ticket office or at the station. Do I run any risk of not being able to make a seat reservation if I arrive in Spain and want to reserve a seat for Madrid 4 days later, as well as all other destinations? For the month of May should I worry or not worry about this? Thank you kindly for your response.
Good day everyone. I want to ask for some help regarding how to obtain a ticket for those trips that does not require any seat reservations as I know that the Eurail pass is not the ticket itself. How do I go about with this? Your responses are much appreciated.
I am trying to book a train from Amsterdam to Munich on Monday 7th August, but there are very few options currently showing, however there are a lot more options for any day prior to this. Do they release these in week batches and therefore I will have to wait until Monday 20th February for these additional trains to show?
I want to book a trip that has two changes of trains but none of them require seat reservations. All my other trips required a reservation so I would go in person to the train station and I would receive a physical ticket with a car and seat number. By adding a journey to my trip and creating the travel day, am I guaranteed to be allowed on that train? Will I get in trouble for possibly sitting in someone else’s seat or does nobody have assigned seats and they are all first come first serve seating? Is showing my ticket pass on my phone enough or do I still need to go to the ticket desk and receive a physical ticket for the train? If the train ends up being filled, am I guaranteed a spot on it since I’ve added it to my Eurail Global Pass via the RailPlanner app?
