Train connections & reservations

I want to reserve seats with oebb, but I have a question,Is there any booking map so you can manually choose which seats you will get?The route I will take is Milan → Firenze.

For some reason, a train from Amsterdam to Munich via Frankfurt (ICE 123), doesn't appear to be included in our travel pass, why would this be please? (Sunday 06.08.23 - 10:38am)

Hi, apologies if this has been asked before. I’ve looked around but can’t seem to find any existing question that fits.I made a few reservations on Trenitalia for April through Eurail’s reservation booking system as part of a much larger trip, for myself and a friend. Unfortunately, on two of the legs of our journey, the seats assigned to my friend and I seem to be less than optimal - 2C and 2A. Looking at the seatmap on Trenitalia’s website, we seem to be across the aisle, facing different directions, and one of us is seated at a table for 4.From what I’ve seen, Trenitalia seems to be one of the more temperamental operators when it comes to reservations, so I wasn’t terribly surprised.Since these trips are 3 and 4 hours each, I’m not keen on hoping to be able to just swap seats with someone else on-board (especially with one of ours being at a table for four). I am getting below error while booking the reservations at the last page ....i tried doing it for other trains as well however getting the same error. Can you please get this resolved as soon as possible  

Hi there,I have read through a lot of the topics about reservation timing and I want to make sure I understand when I am able to make reservations for my trips. 3 of my 5 planned Train journeys have reservation requirements.1 Domestic round trip in Poland (Krakow to Oscweicm) on June 16.1 Train from Krakow to Prague on the 17th.1 Overnight train from Munich to Paris on the 25th.If I have read the posts correctly it means I can start making reservations 30 days, 60 days, and 3 months in advance respectively. Is that correct?

We want to catch a bus from Kalamata in the south Peloponnese to Olympia. It appears the bus stops at Zacharo which is roughly 50km short of Olympia. I dont understand why this would be the case. There seems to only be the option of catching a taxi the remaining distance.Has anybody done this trip? I know that buses coming from the north go all the way to Olympia from Athens. Cheers, Renee L (Australia).

Hi all! I was trying to reserve a ferry from Athens to Crete, and I can’t seem to find the Eurail discount option. Attached is a screenshot of a different route, the discount is very clear and easy to find. But whenever I try to book to/from Crete, it won’t appear. I believe the pass allows us to travel to Crete as well. I checked all three websites (Superfast, Blue Star and Hellenic) and I keep finding the same scenario. The discount just doesn’t show up within the options. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!!   

Hello all, I can’t tell from their website. Does anyone know if they do vegan options on the Glacier Express? I am keen to splash out on 3 or 4 courses but I’m not sure if they will cater for my partner who is vegan. Thank you!

Hello, I have tried to book a reservation for 2 people for the Railjet sleeper on 30th April from Paris to Salzburg. It says ‘ticket not available’. Does this mean the train is full? Thank you. We have a first class interrail pass. 

Hi. My husband and I want to take the nightjet sleeper from münchen ost to wien hbf.  I want to book a sleeper where only my husband and I share the sleeper. Do I book a double for us? Or a single? Are these twin sized beds? So maybe a double?

Hi, I’m Rai, my partner and I are plannning our trip in 7 months time.:Stockholm to Berlin to Prague to Vienna to Ljubjlana to Budapest to Kraków. Journey starting 4th August. ARE WE TOO EARLY TO BOOK SEAT RESERVATIONS?The website, the app, and the individual train station website all have not allowed us to book reservations. They show us the trains and prices but won’t let’s us progress past that. We have already got our passesIf we are indeed too early as we suspect, when should we book? As we then don’t want to leave it too late. thanks!

I have one question:I am planning for Switzerland and Italy trip in the month of May 2023. following will be my itinerary: Zurich - 2 Nights Lucerne - 2 Nights Interlaken - 4 Nights Bern ( Day trip from Interlaken) Milan - 2 Nights Venice - 1 Night Florence - 2 Nights Pisa (Day trip from Florence) Rome - 3 Nights I am planning to Buy 10 Day trip Eurail Pass as I have total 9 days of travel, so if i wants to add Gstaad  and Saanen (Golden Pass train) will it count as 1 Day trip ? What about Grindlewald first and Lauterbrunen are these covered in Eurail pass ? or i have to take tickets for these trains? also what about Lucerne to Engleberg for Mount Titlis?    

I am trying to book the trip below through Eurail and I am receiving a message that directs me to the ACP Rail website to reserve the seats.  Manchester Piccadilly > Paris Nord I've spoken to a representative from ACP Rail and they shared that I am unable to book this route on their website with a Eurail pass so I am quite confused on where I can reserve seats. I have tried reaching out to Eurail and despite the chat bot saying I will receive an email, I have yet to hear back.  I am hoping to receive assistance in booking seat reservations. Thank you in advance.

I want to take the night train from Zurich 21:40 to Vienna 7:58 by Nightjet on the 8th of February. In the ÖBB website it appears as available and let be book it with the Interrail / Eurail - Globalpass discount. But when I try to save the ticket to my pass it does not show in the planner. What can I do?

echoing what several others have said here - i just bought a 2month/15day 1st class global pass.but as i start to look at schedules for all the trips i want to take - MOST of them are coming back with “No Prices Available” because the pass-holder quota of seats (i guess) are all sold out. so - i am starting to question the usefulness of this pass.  just spend $650 - and haven’t been able to find ANY reservations for anu train i’ve wanted to get on (Stockholm - Oslo, Oslo - Bergen, Zurich - Brussels, St Moritz - Zermatt, etc).  for travel in March. anyone else feel this way?  any advice on canceling my pass and getting a full refund?  and just buying point-to-point tickets? Appreciate your advice.  I am a first time user here. NB

Hi, Ich habe mich gefragt, wenn ich noch keins meiner Ein- oder Ausreisetage genutzt habe zählt dann eine durchfahrt durch mein Heimatland als Einreise und Ausreise wenn ich dies an einem Tag mache? Oder wird da nur eins von von diesen verwendet und ich kann am Ende des Tickets nochmal Einreisen?  Hinzu käme dass die Einreise ein Nachtzug wäre und die Ausreise dann über den Tag geht. 

HI. I have read and known that apparently you can’t reserve seats from the actual Eurail planner app(which is frustrating). We will be traveling in April(after Holy Week)  from Milan to Rome, hence, I wanted to reserve seats ahead of time. What is the best site to do this for other trips as well or countries rather(Amsterdam, Paris, London, Brussels, Switzerland from Tirano). Thank you for your response.

Hi there,  We are travelling on three month global passes and keep coming up against the same issue of trying to book reservations on a train that are available to purchase (in this case Krakow to Prague) but we are unable to as it says they need to be posted out and we will not receive in time. We already booked reservations a few weeks ago when going Gothenburg to Stockholm and the reservations were emailed to us. Is there any way around the posting situation? This is becoming very frustrating as it is hindering our plans and journey.  Thank you!!! 

Due to bad weather changes in the countries I have been planning to visit I have tried looking at alternate travel destinations I can visit.  i have tried looking for a way to get a cruise to Italy (Rome) for the 7th of February however whenever looking for trains from Athens to the Patras Port I only get options to go to a city halfway (Kiato) and then can not proceed further, it only shows options to come back to Athens.  any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong?

I require a train reservation and the date is not flexible. I can book through the train companies website with a ticket + reservation but I don't have the option to get just the seat reservation!? I have paid almost one and a half thousand aud and I can't even access a train and now I need to cough up another 500 aud just to be able to get to my plane?I need a train from London to Brussels at anytime past 9am on the 24th of Feb. Flight is on the 25th, can’t get to the London St Pancras before 9 on the 24th.

Hello all, I will be travelling from Paris nord to brussels on 13th Feb and i had already booked a train timing from the Eurail main website and paid for seats reservation (as i have the global pass). It gives me an E ticket and it’s u see Thylas plus it fits nicely the Eurail main website and my Eurail app that generates the QR code (which is rare as the app is not up the date), and i’m feeling very relief.  So recently, there have been train disruptions and strikes so i’ve been checking Thylas main website (as that is what Eurail website suggested after you press “train disruptions”)  in order to make sure the train that i had booked via the Eurail website is smooth going and not disrupted. However, after keying in my train departure and arrival station i could not seems to find the booking i’ve made via eurail website using the pass on the Thylas website. Can someone please advise what is going on - does it means Eurail has set aside some booking that don’t appear on Thylas website

How many times can I book Eurostar during my 3 month pass to exit the UK for 32 euro per person?Is it just the once or can you do it unlimited times?  I know I have only 2 days when I can use the pass in the UK but was wondering if I get to St Pancras using a bought ticket can I take advantage of the 32 euro fare   thanks  

Anyone else being barred from adding passes to your account, so you can make reservations, by a message to update the app. But when you do, you have the latest version of the app? Can’t see a way out of this? Anyone else manage to break this unhelpful loop?
