Hi - in 2023 will Eurail offer a special deal to upgrade once to a first class ticket? If so, we’d like to use this opportunity to buy first-class tickets on the Glacier Express. thanks

Hi - My husband and I would like to take the nightjet with our Eurail Pass between Zurich and Berlin on Wed 27 July 2023. I am finding the nightjet web site choices confusing. When the time comes to create the reservation (180 days before the train ride) which option should I pick? We want a two-person accomodation, and do not wish to share with another person. Hiya, we are planning to take the night jet from Venice to Munich on 31st May. I tried to book on Oebb but all the fare showing tickets not available. (I have tested with several dates) I also tried to book on Eurail reservations, there was no option of booking seats reservations either. Does the Venice to Munich nightjet open to Eurail pass holders? Thank you 🙂

Hello all, I will be travelling using the Eurail global pass and inside the app it shows a timing that don’t match/show in the Eurail website. I’ll need to book seats reservations on the website and show a QR code to enter the train via the app. I’m just very confused so in this case, should i buy the seats reservations at the timing that’s shown on the website and appear in the train station without the QR code from the app (as the timing don’t match)?  And if i do book the seats reservations on website and turn up on the timing that’s on the web, i don’t have the QR code to enter as the app don’t have the timing on the web, will this be alright to just show evidence of my seats reservation? 

Hello everyone, my husband and I are doing a 3-month trip in Europe in April. Recently we tried to get our trip planned and have all the train rides booked and accommodations booked and confirmed. We bought the 1st class Eurail Global Pass continuous pass for 3 month. However, after I activated our passes, I saved some trips to our passes and turned on the button of one of the trips, and I went to “My Pass” section, clicked “show tickets”, I could see the ticket with a QR code, but couldn’t see any button for the payment options for the seat reservation fee. (it does show “seat reservations required with orange colour under the Journeys)Could anyone please advise me how to pay the seat reservation fee on the app to secure the seat as we need to book our accommodations based on the train times. Thank you in advance :)

Hello, I would like to travel from Copenhagen to Goteborg. I found a train on the Oresundstag company, but when I try to book a seat on Interrail I can’t find the same train. How can I do ? Thank you in advance !

I have booked seat reservations in advance Brussels to Paris on April 25 using the link to Belgian trains provided in this community and had no issue booking the seats, however the seat confirmation lists the train number as 9422 whereas the one I have in my journey is 9322.They are both Thalys, leaving Bruxelles-Midi and 10.13.I am wondering why the numbers are different, I can’t imagine 2 Thalys trains leaving at exactly the same time. If it is this same train will I have an issue with the ticket and seat reservation having different numbers?

Hi all, I’ll be travelling to Paris at 10th of Feb from London St Pancras. However, the app timing and web timing clashes and i couldn’t find a timing that is the same on both side since January. So I’ve waited for February which is today but it still don’t match. Now i’m not sure if I should book seats reservations from the website at 726am and produces no QR code (as i couldn’t find 726am timing in the app that generates a QR code) or should I book 701am in the app and go to the station to make a seat reservation? I’m not sure if i can reserve the seats last minute at St Pancras. Can someone please help me with the following? Should i book at website and produce no QR code in app  Should i save the QR code in app and buy the seats reservation at St pancras  Will the seats reservations confirmed be available for my time slot and if not what should i do?

Dear Eurail Community,I would like to ask, I have booked an OBB Nightjet reservation from Amsterdam to Innsbruck. As you can see the route is as below. The thing is, I am planning to hop on the nightjet train at Dusseldorf Hbf and not from Amsterdam Centraal.Is this okay? I have booked a number of seat reservations for trains in Italy through OBB (many thanks to guidance on the process from those on this forum). One of the journeys is from Trieste to Brescia, involving a change of train at Padova. But the seat reservation says it is only valid as far as Venezia Mestre (the stop before Padova). Can anyone tell me why, and whether I should worry about it? Many thanks

I’m trying to book a seat reservation on the nightjet from munich to venice for april 30th of this year. I believe seat reservations can be purchased 90 advance for the nightjet so today should have been the first day one would be able to make reservations, however there are no ticket prices loading. Was wondering if seat reservations really sold out that quickly or if you are just unable to make reservations yet.

May I know if there is any problem because I also need to book seat reservation from Geneva-Paris-London on May 2023. Fear the seat reservation fully booked. Taking my first  interailing later this year, starting from Manchester to Brussels Via eurostar.I have been told I need to reserve a seat on the Manchester to London train( run by Avanti West Coast) Does anyone know how I do this? Feeling like I'm going round in circles!

Hi,I have purchased a group booking (10 people) for a TGV journey next week. I am worried as 1 person is now unable to come with us. They are happy to pay for their ticket but we will not/cannot remove 1 more person (as the group minimum is 10). My question is, will it be a problem if we turn up to board the train with only 9 people? Thanks for any help in advance 

I booked and paid for reservations from Rome to Palermo for 13/4/23 on train 1955. After paying for the overnight train, ($265) for two people, we were assigned seats that appear to be not together. Seats 31 and 22. Is this correct so we are in sleeper cars together? Please assist me because I would hate to be in separate seating (not together) and not in sleeper car.Thank you!

I am going to Paris > London > Switzerland > Italy & intend to buy the 4 days within 1 month Global pass.2 questions:1. If I plan to depart London at 2200hrs on Day 1 & arrive Switzerland at 0900hrs on Day 2, will it be considered as 1 or 2 travel days?2. Do I have to pay additional for the "transfer by public transport" during stops / change between stations?Advice much needed!

Hi. We’re a family of four trying to book (2nd class) seat reservations for April. We’ve managed to get reservations via the eurail website for our Amsterdam to Bruges journey but the journey down to Lyon and then back up Paris is drawing blanks on all trains on all days. Surely not all of the pass holder allocations have booked already?  Any advice or help very much appreciated as I am losing the plot trying to figure out how or where to get these reservations booked.

I would like to make seat reservations with our Eurail passes for the following train:July 16, Stuttgart 14:52 - Paris Est 18:05, ICE 9572. Seat reservations are required. The Rail planner app says that you can book this train only up to 90 days in advance, but tickets are already for sale at DB, for example. Can I book seats directly on the DB website or some other way? Hi everyone, We're planning on getting the one-country-pass for Italy. Our country of residence is Switzerland. So the ticket won't be valid in CH, only after the border.The connection will be Bern-Milano-Rome. I can't figure out how to get a ticket from Bern to Milan. Will the interrail ticket be valid from the border (Domodossola) or only after the first stop in Italy?The lady at the SBB counter said I needed to purchase the Anschlusszug-ticket from Bern to Milan (?) via Interrail, not via SBB. I can't find any info on connecting trains on the interrail website…HELP! Thank you so much.
