Train connections & reservations

Hi,I have bought a 1st class pass some days ago. Now, I´m trying to make a reservation for a seat in a train from Budapest to Zurich but it´s says there are no seats available. When I go to the company´s web I can see that there are no more sleep cabins available but there are seats and couchettes. Is there any form that I can make a reservation for that type of seats?

Looking for the cheapest /easiest way to get form London to Berlin with Eurail pass. I was figuring Friday January 13th and coming back that Monday but not finding any sites that will plan the whole trip and a little confusing for figuring out which stations/trains are the easiest/cheapest/available to go on while using Eurail pass. Seems like alot of airline flights would be a cheaper quicker alternative but wanted to enjoy the countryside ride 

i have purchased Eurail Global Pass (first Class)… Why i need to pay for seat reservation by having the global pass...

I am struggling to find any trains on the Journey Planner or anywhere else for Trains in Serbia and Slovakia. Including to Belgrade and other Big Cities?

I purchased the Eurail Pass and requested a refund, and in the meantime, I purchased a Eurostar ticket. Can I use Eurostar tickets in this case?

After much research into mobile paper vs. paper pass, I am leaning towards getting a paper pass just for simplicity’s sake and ease of use. However, I am still confused as to how I would make reservations on train in France for example WITHOUT buying an entire ticket from the native train company in order to get a seat reserved. Is it possible to make a reservation through the eurail.com website WITHOUT a mobile pass even if you own a paper pass?The situation I’m in is I’m from Canada and will be flying to France sometime soon but I dont know how to make a reservation on the TGV trains in advance if I had a paper pass. I assume showing up to the station one day early would make my chance of getting a seat reservation quite slim, but if I can't purchase a reservation in advance (ie on the eurail app or website), I might be in a bit of a pickle. Thanks for any help!

Hey, I need to get from Sofia, Bulgaria to Thessaloniki, Greece in May 2023.Any suggestions which bus company I have to choose because there are no trains, or any websites I can go to? Plus do I have to reservate beforehand and how much is a ride?

Hey, I am planning to travel to Croatia soon bit I can’t find any connections to or from Croatia in the interrail app. I was able to plan a trip through Croatia in Dezember in the app but now when I try to search the trip again the app says there are no trains for that route. Does anyone know why there are no connections for Croatia in the interrail app ?

Hi guys,I would like to check the price of a reservation for the new night train operated by ČD from Prague to Zurich, for traveling from Dresden to Basel.Although it goes under the name RailJet, it is not possible to check the tickets on the website from ÖBB, probably because it is run by ČD. On their website I could at least by the ticket, but not just the reservation. ČD customer support answered me that I can buy reservations only on the counter, which is not an option for me since I do not start in the Czech Republik.Last but not least it is available on the reservation tool from eurail.com, but there I am not able to see the final price without an interrail pass. It shows “Bed in 6-berth sleeper: from €36” (For the EN 40458 on 24 Feb). Since I am currently investigating if the purchase of a pass makes sense for me, it would be necessary to know the correct price for the reservation.Can anyone help me out? Best regards 

Have booked Eurostar from London to Paris, but wanting to travel that same morning from Leicester to London. Don't appear to be able to add that journey to my Plan. Is the journey covered?

I’m trying to book Interrail reservations for trains in France on 1st April, it’s a TGV within France, from Paris to Moutiers. It just says “booking momentarily unavailable” on every single train. Does this mean they’re fully booked or not available to book yet? It’s within three months now so I thought it should work! 

Dear all, Hoping someone can guide me here pretty please.I looked up in in the app planer and I can make it from Madrid to Milan on the same day in just over 15 hours.In Madrid I was able to book a HSpeed train to Barcelona at 7am. Renfe won't sell me any of the other trains after Barcelona. I found in the app that I need to call a number to book Barcelona- Valence. I haven't done it yet but I am hoping this is a straight forward step. The train shows in the Eurail website as well as in the app.The next train, Valence-Chambery Challes requires no reservations and also shows in both app and website.Now, the HSpeed and last train and as shown on the app, the Chambery-Milano P.Garibaldi requires reservations. The app says I can book on the Eurail website. I am looking on the website and this train is not showing. This is for January 10th departing 17:44 arriving in Milano at 21:49 (4 hours and much better than a regular train that takes more than twice as long).Can someone help me? Does t

Hi there I am looking for trains Marseille to aix En Provence and I am asked to reserve a seat for 12 eur, on the high speed train. Checking the tgv website, a new ticket costs 9 eur. How is that possible?

Does anyone know the reservation fee of the Rest Compartment of the Bergensbanen (Oslo to Bergen) or the price for a normal seat reservation form Oslo to Bergen in July (peak season)?On several websites you can only see the reservation fees of the next couple of months, so only off-season. I guess the price will differ quite a lot...Thanks

Italia Notte - reservations for our intended trip are open on trenitalia but not visible on Eurail? How long does it normally take for them to shownup on this site? ( we are looking to book 1 x 2 berth deluxe and 1 x 3 berth deluxe on thr Rome to Palermo 20:31 departure on 6 April 2023. )the special fares on Trenitalia are still more expensive in this case than the pass holder reservations at this point   thank you

Are there transfers like trains or trams, from Prague city centre (Prague Hlavni Nadrazi) to the airport and does this need to be pre booked? 

I’m planning on adding a stop to Pisa but using alternative transport instead of the interrail pass so it doesn’t use up one of my travel days. I want a one way ticket to Pisa from Florence. I’ve looked into flix bus but the pick up stop is very far away from where I’ll be staying. Are there trains which will take me there instead and do these have to be booked in advance. thanks.   

What’s the best way to get from Naples airport into the city centre (preferably Napoli central). Are there busses/trams that can take you, if so are they easy to find and do you have to pre book? Is this walkable as google maps says this is a 50 min walk.  

Hello. We are looking at buying a 7 days/1 month global pass. The eurostar will be part of our trip. I understand you should book this as early as possible and can do so up to 180 days in advance. If we reserve our seats at the earliest possible time (180 days before travel), will that start our 1 month time limit? Or will the pass start when we actually take our journey on the eurostar itself? Many thanks. 

Hi everyone, I have some quick questions concerning the OBB Nightjet linking Brussels to Vienna.I’m a scout groupe leader and we’re going on a camp next summer (July 2023). We were planning on taking an Interrail pass for the whole groupe because we want to travel all by train. (let me know if any of you already took that train)Our first train would be the Brussels to Vienna nightjet and I can’t find some usefulll information.  First of all, how much does this journey coust with an interrail pass ? I found some people saying it costs only about 30€ and some saying they could’nt get any discount with their pass.   Secondly, I d’ont understand the concept of “private compartment”. It seems like its cheaper to take two private compartments of 3 people than taking a 6bed compartment which seems odd.  Hope anyone can help us for our camp. Have a good day y’all, Basile

Bonjour, Je ne parviens à trouver quasiment aucun de mes voyages sur l'application. J'avoue que cela me freine à prendre mon pass. Arrivée à Budapest ou à Vienne, je souhaite aller jusqu'à Athènes mais j'ai essayé toutes les possibilités (Sofia, Belgrade, Skopje...) et je ne trouve rien.Comment faire ?  Merci d'avance, Noémie
