Train connections & reservations

I need to make Spanish reservations by phone tomorrow (= less than 72 hrs before I arrive in Spain), using the number given on this site.Can anyone tell me, do they have to email you the reservation number(s), or do they just read them out to you over the phone? My Spanish is OK, but I can see I might have problems either writing down “ERRE… CHOTA… THERO...” etc, or else spelling out my email address in the same way!Thanks for any info - it doesn’t seem to be explained on the Spain reservations instructions page. 

Hello,I’m looking to book a Nightjet train between Salzburg and Paris beginning of January for already several weeks but tickets are not available. I suppose the booking is not yet open.But when I look to other dates (in October, November...) or to other fares (Wien-Berlin, Wien-Amsterdam or Zürich-Ljubljana for example), Nightjet tickets are not available as well.Is there right now any problem with the Nightjet trains booking ?I’ve booked a train ticket one month ago between Zürich and Ljubljana for end of December without any problem, but now, nothing works for several days. Does anybody know why ?Thanks

Hi,I’m trying to book 2 seats with our youth passes on 23 Oct, it’s a Sunday. We need to go from Stockholm Central station to Kobenhavn. Every time I try to book our seat reservation it says it’s available, and then all of the sudden when I go to process payment it says a leg of my trip cannot be booked. I already booked my train on the way there (on Friday 21 Oct) and I don’t now what to do as we have work Monday. Any help would be appreciated. 

The planner has not been updated with rail schedule beyond 10 Dec 22. Anyone has an idea when it will be available?

Hi, Pls help. I can find the available ticket on the carrier website, but cannot find the schedule available in rail planner app. How to proceed with seat reservation? I changed my mobile eurail pass, do i lose the reservation i made with the old pass?

Hi all,  Our family is going to be travelling on the eurostar and tgv on two separate trips in December and January. I love the idea of the eurail pass but I can't find reservations for the journeys I need through the site. When I go to make a reservation through eurostar it is obviously much more expensive.  I would like to purchase a pass but only if I can see the reservation I require before I purchase.  Any advice / further info?  ThanksDan

Today I arrived in Madrid with the plan to continue on an ALVIA train to Santiago de Compostela tomorrow. I had called Renfe to make a pre-reservation by phone yesterday, and today, at the station in Madrid, I wanted to pay for and pick up my reservation.  Unfortunately I ran into a problem. The Renfe officer at the counter could find my reservation alright (using the reservation number starting with L followed by numbers). But since the reservation was on Elige Confort (apparently equivalent to first class on this train) and I have a second class Interrail pass, he said there was no way I could use this reservation. There was apparently also no way for me to pay a surcharge to the ticket. This was possible for me on my Renfe-SNCF ride from. Marseille to Madrid (there were only first class tickets left but I was happy to pay extra to get on the train).My question is, if its really not possible to buy a first class ticket on a Renfe ALVIA train when there are no other tickets left and I

So, I would like to know thatIs it necessary to book the reservation during that time (29 Dec - 3 Jan)?I have a Czech resident permit and my partner is Thai without any European permit (he has only the Schengen). I purchased seat reservations on the Avignon Barcelona Service for 21 October. These were ordered and confirmed by Eurail who said paper tickets would be posted out. I paid £70. The tickets have never been sent. There is no phone number for Eurail. Repeated emails have been ignored. We are now left with no reservations for this train but have seats on trains just before and after. I am very disappointed with this service and especially the fact that Eurail just can’t be contacted. 

Does anybody have information regarding a Transport National Strike in France starting Oct. 17 and running through Oct. 23?We have only seen it on one website (https://worldinparis.com/transport-in-france-strike-news-tips-for-traveling-to-paris) and nowhere else.Would that impact trains and flights from France? We are scheduled to fly from Bordeaux for Barcelona on Oct. 17 on Ryanair.I looked at trains as a potential plan, but most of them are sold out according to Trainline - with one available also using a bus to go from Narbonne to Barcelona.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hello everyone!I am writing to kindly ask you a question (anyone aswering will be much appreciated). I re-booked the seats as my prior order went wrong (apparently when I first tried there was a technical issue with Italian trains), this time I received the tickets in my email but I can't see the order in the Reservations Overview page in my Interrail account, is that normal?.Moreover, does anyone know when I’ll approximately receive the refund for the first order? I did write an e-mail to the custumer service, they read it  but never responded.Thanks in advance for you help and you kindness. Hope you have a nice day   

hi guys, im trying to book seat reservations for a few trains - 10th Dec 2022: EC 52 from Milan Centrale to Spiez 14th Dec 2022: TGV Lyria from Basel to Parisbut there are no results shown on the Eurail app. It says that they don’t have train times for these dates yet as they are waiting for a timetable update. Any idea how long that will take or where else can i book my reservations other than the Eurail app?Thanks 

Anyone know if the Eurail pass is good for this train?  I can’t find the BAri airport station on the app but i’m looking to get 4 of us with Eurail passes there to rent a car and then back into the city after we drop off the car. Thanks,Jason

Hello, I hope you can help me.I booked the Interrail Global-Pass, because I wanna travel from Augsburg (DE) to Angouleme (FR) on the 2nd of November.My preferred choice would be the train from “Augsburg” 07:16 - 12:31 to “Paris Est” and then from “Paris Montparnasse” at 14:19 - 16:35 to “Angouleme”. The return is supposed to be on the 4th of November.Now the problem is that I can't buy a reservation on the Interrail website for the TGV to Paris because this error message appears:"Prices unavailable.No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable."  At first I thought that simply this particular trip was fully booked, but even the furthest in the future TGV train (10/12/22) to Paris has this error message (I even tried different parameters, like starting point, date, time, etc.).I have also not been able to find any other website through which I could book only

Hello everyone,Me and my girlfriend will start our interrail on Monday. We are excited about it after made a lot of preparation. We have our stops and we booked already some trains but I have some questions because I did’t find a clear answer in the posts here in the forum. For Krakow → Budapest : we plan to take a night train. I found this website mentionned in a post: https://booking.polrail.com/ Do you recommend it to book a couchette?  For Ljubljana → Split, I have to make a change in Zagreb, so take a second train from Zagreb to Split.In Slovenia,  I did find any information to book the first train. For the second, I saw that there is no possibility to book trains in Croatia. It has to be done in the country. Can you confirm? For the rest, I found myself or it didn’t require a reservation. Thanks in advance for your help.  

Hallo ich will mit den Kindern nach Disneyland Paris mit dem Zug hab jetzt auch denn Interrail Global Pass gekauft Leider bekomme ich es nicht hin am 28.10. 22 um 7:31 Uhr Strecke von Straßburg nach Disneyland 3 Sitzplätze zu buchen mit dem Zug TGV5470 Sowie die Rückfahrt am 30.10.22 von Disneyland nach Bruxelles-midi um 10:21Uhr Zug TGV9854  direkt auf der Seite kann ich nur das Ticket kaufen keine Reservierung und es ist alles auf Französisch 🙈kann mir jemand helfen? 

Hi,as far as the official Interrail map is showing a ferry to reach Helsinki from Staockholm has to go to Tallinn first before continuing to Helsinki resp train to Turku.Is this correct or is there an Interrail option to go from Stockholm to Turku or Helsinki directly (without Tallinn)?ThxJürgen

I bought a rail pass to travel next christmas and today, the 15th of october, there is still no train timetable available on interrail website further than the 10th of december.I’m afraid it will be too late. For example, the SNCF in France launched tickets for christmas holidays and most of the tickets on the main lines have been sold.I’m a bit disappointed and I’m thinking of asking for a refund for my pass and eventually buy a flight ticket I would have paid 100 euros less if I had bought it last month…Any advice ?
