Train connections & reservations

Hi All,I have tried to reserve a seat on a Berlin to Prague train (9.16am on 3rd January) however it says ‘we are unable to offer any reservations on the service you have chosen’. I am able to book seats at other times on the same day but not the 9.16 train. Does anyone know why this is?Thank you in advance for your help! 

Hi all,I’ve been recently doing a reservations blitz before I set off for my 15 travel days early next month.Most have gone smoothly, but I’m having a bit of trouble booking FA 8828 between Barletta (15:06) and Venezia S. Lucia for November 30th.Trenitalia are displaying and selling this train, but it doesn’t appear on the Interrail timetable or OEBB’s Scotty beyond November 4th. It’s a strange omission because both those apps are showing most long-distance and regional Italian trains for November 30th already.Am I right in thinking the 8828 will probably be added to the Rail Planner and/or OEBB with the next monthly update? If so, does anyone know when that update takes place; at the end of the month, perhaps?Many thanks for any pointers!

An important note about this train. It is frequently fully booked on the day and sometimes a few days before. The clerk at the international desk told us it was full on Friday Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Unfortunately it can’t be booked outside of Bulgaria so you must allow time to buy in person. You must have your passport with you when buying these reservations. A double sleeper costs the equivalent of 30 euros.Specialist agencies can help as they use local contacts to buy the tickets and deliver them to hotels or can even meet you in person but you have to pay for this level of service!

I’ve purchased a Eurail pass for travel beginning November 1, 2022 but I’m having trouble making a seat reservation from Barcelona to Paris, any suggestions?

Using the Interail website, I booked seat e-ticket seat reservations for Milan to Florence. The accompanying email said I needed to print the reservations but other things I've read suggest this isn't necessary. Which is it?

Hello! I booked a 15 day first class mobile Eurail pass which will be valid in late October when I arrive in Germany. That being said, I don’t have much of an itinerary -- I’ll be in Frankfurt and Cologne for a few days, but otherwise, I hope that I can be spontaneous to some extent. So -- How hard is it to schedule a train, day of travel, for a route like Frankfurt → Cologne, for example? Do I need to reserve ahead of time?If I want to go to the other countries serviced by Deutsche Bahn, like parts of Northern Italy and Austria via Munich, how do I go about scheduling that in the app?

eurostar london to anywhere. i only seem to be able to book about 45 days in advance via the interail website. I want to start my trip in early april 2023 so quite important to be able to get across channel first Many thanks in advance Martin

bonjour, Avec mon amie nous souhaitons rejoindre Prague en République Tchèque, nous avons alors acheté un pass Interrail de 3 jours pour 1 mois le 15 octobre 2022.Lorsque nous voulons réserver nos billets des trains ainsi que des places assises sur l’application cela nous dis que notre pass n’est pas valable dans certains pays et que nous devons modifier notre voyage afin qu’il se trouve dans les pays couverts par mon pass ou d’acheter un billet séparé donc je ne comprends pas trop..où puis-je voir les pays couverts par mon pass ?  merci d’avance

Hi going to Geneva in the morning from Copenhagen and have to switch trains 5 times. How do I figure out what trains to take in which direction and from what platform? I have switches on 8 min, so would be nice to know in advance! 

I can't find train times between Athens and Thessalonica, though on the map it shows there is a train.

Hey! [EN]I am about to finish my 10-day interrail trip and it has been a pleasure so far. Only thing that was annoying was the I/O day rule so far. Looking at booking Nightjet Ams -- Vienna in Feb. 3 travellers.A private couchette seems to be 199e without the pass and the same price using the pass. Am I mistaken or does the Nightjet offer make the use of one day of the travel pass obsolete?

hi everyone, i booked a seat reservation on a Frecciarossa (Trenitalia) through the ÖBB website. for a change of plans i won’t be taking that train anymore, does anyone know whether i can get a refund or change the date/time of the ticket somehow? thanks :)

I have a journey on Monday 17th October from Napoli Central to Brussels Central the final leg from Paris Nord to Brussels central was not available as a single journey on Interail first I successfully put the following reservations into the ingrail seat reservation basket and. then purchased from SNFC the 21.42 Paris Nord. - Brussels Central air 23.08 06.30 Napoli - Milano Centrale arrive 10.5811.20 Milano Centrale - Basel Sbb arrive 15.3216.34 Basel Sbb - Paris GDL arrive 19.40  I have tried too check out with 3 different credit cards and tried PayPal all result in the following  “something went wrong please refresh the page”I have done this numerous times with no success 

How can Globalpass info be entered in Trenitalia's website?I’d like to use my Globalpass to book travel from Florence to Rome on Apr 2 2023 but Eurail’s website says “Sorry we don’t have train times for these dates yet” so I went to Trenitalia's website and it returns all the trains for that date but doesn’t seem to provide a way to enter my Globalpass info.I’ve done the following research:I read https://community.eurail.com/train-connections-reservations-47/extra-pass-needed-for-travelling-through-italy-2358 which says I should be able to use Trenitalia's website. Hello,Does anyway know if you can use the interrail pass for this train? I know you have to book this train at the Sofia booking office rather then online but anyway to show them them the pass when I am there? Or will it be a case I have to pay full price. Thank you

Hello, I add a journey on my pass for a direct train from Stockholm to Oslo, it shows up just fine in the app, but when I go to the website for the seat reservation the train doesn't show up and doesn't exist.Is this a bug in the system? How can I reserve my seats if the website doesn't find the train that is in the app?

Hi, I booked 2 tickets for the train from Katowice to Ostrava svinov for the 15th october at 9:12 (IC103) but they never arrived in my mail box because of "wrong adress". I've booked several other tickets and they all arrived in due time. So what i'm asking here is, is there a way to print it and if not, can i hop on the train without the ticket paper and only my interrail pass ?  Hi everyone,I'm having a bit of trouble with booking my trips for my first interrailing experience. I want to take the Eurostar from Rotterdam to London, but apparently all tickets are sold out (even though on the Eurostar website tickets are still available).I did manage to 'save’ this journey on the app and I have a QR-code which says: All set! Show yout ticket during inspection. Can I travel on this ticket without having a seat reservation?

Hi,I’m trying to book reservations for some trains later in the weekend, and I cannot continue because the site only lists EU countries as countries of issue for documents, even though I have my country of residence and currency set to Canada. How do I change this, or can I just lie?

Good day everyone, I would like  to ask on how to make seat reservations for the trip Barcelona-Sants to Paris Gare de Lyon using my Eurail Global Pass ( for the trip 20 Dec 2022 ).I can't find on SCNF website on how to input my Eurail Global Pass  PCN ( Pass Cover Number ) in order to pay only the reservation seats and not the whole amount for a single journey. Thanks.
