Hi - two of us are travelling on Eurail Global passes (2nd class) and want to book a private sleeper cabin on the SJ night train from Abisko to Stockholm (D93).On the Eurail site it only seems to provide the option to book 2 berths/beds in a shared 3 berth sleeper cabin, not a private cabin. Is there any way of booking a private 3 berth sleeper cabin or is that not possible with a Eurail pass?thanks

Hello. I have a first global pass. I want to reserve a seat from Lyon Francce to Tolulouse Matabiu. I have tried throug snfc and trainline, but both include the cost of the tiket, but I need only the seat. Could someone give me an advice ? Thanks

Hello everybody,I am new in the community and first time in Interrail. I got the first class Global Pass, but in my reservation for 20 december I have to pay 8 Euros from München to Zürich. But I have seen, if I have the second class Global Pass I have to pay also 8 Euros. So, there is no difference. is this normal ?and If I do not reserve a seat, may I take a seat in the first class and the meals, or shoud I reserve ?Many thanksHola a todos,soy nuevo en la comunidad y primera vez en Interrail. I am planning my trip to Europe after 14th December 2025 (the second Sunday). I need to reserve seats on some trains, but I can’t find any trains after that date. When will the new timetable be updated, and when will I be able to make reservations?

How to Purchase A Single Night Sleeper in advance with Eurail Pass (1st Class)

Next month I wish to do a part of my interrail through Poland. Suddenly, by reading online and looking at the booking tool on the interrail app I realised there are some major issues in boking trains inside and in/outbound the country. Can I ask if someone with more experience with the Polish Railway system an its booking mechanism can give me a hand to figure out if it is worth it to use my pass for Poland?

Hi,I’ve used an incorrect pass cover number to book Eurostar and TGV lyria reservations. We have paper passes, will this be ok or will I need to contact someone to try and change the reservations?

I bought an Interrail Pass a couple of days ago and after that I booked the mandatory reservation for the Eurostar to London. Now I would like to exchange my Interrail Pass (from 4 days to 5 days). My question is: Will my Eurostar reservation still be valid for the new Interrail Pass although I had to enter the pass number during the reservation process and the new Interrail Pass will have a different pass number? (I am talking about the Interrail pass number, not my passport number!) My new Interrail Pass will of course be valid on the day I made the reservation for and it will still be a Global Pass, 2nd class, like the previous one. Thanks for your help.

Hi. I am trying to book a reservation to my journey on a train with my Global Pass Plus from Colmar to Lauterbrunnen. I keep getting errors. Attached are two images. One image is the original error when I would almost finish the booking process. The second image is what I believe the issue might be. There seems to be an issue with the Basel to Spiez leg of the portion? Based on that blue highlighted message, I should be ok to travel on this route without a reservation as long as I have my pass? This is the first time I’ve run into issues when planning for my trip. The Colmar route starts at 11:23 and arrives in Lauterbrunnen at 14:56 on Dec 20th if needed. There is a short transfer at Spiez but from what I can tell, the transfer is from 2 to 3 which is an adjacent platform so 3 minutes should be ok? I want to use night train at 12/25 and 12/27, round trip from Stockholm to Kiruna. In the website of SJ, selling of tickets of night train in this Winter, so I will be able to reserve tickets. But in this website: Eurail, I can’t search these tickets. How and when can I get these reservation?I want to use Eurail pass Sweden version. Please help. Sorry for my poor English.

Hi, not my first time traveling by train, but it is the first time seeing this message for the place I have a hotel booked right by the train station. I’m un able to book seat reservations between Zurich and Innsbruck and this message shows at the top. The high speed trains I was looking at taking appear to be heading other places than Italy, will the Budapest, and Croatia high speed trains be stopping in Innsbruck or should I take it as a bad sign that they aren’t offering seat reservations yet. I’m coming from Freiberg Im Breisgau in Germany, should I be thinking about a different destination other than Innsbruck...we wanted the Austria alp, sledding day trips, and winter experience. Recently we ended up (lost bag, found bag, missed flight, long story) getting an SNCF Intercites du Nuit sleeper at short notice.Because our plans only came together 40 or 50 minutes before the train was due we were unable to buy the reservation online.  Because there were no staffed ticket desks we were unable to buy the reservation in person.  There were SNCF staff in the station halls, but none with the ability to sell a reservation.  This was Cannes on a busy Sunday evening and not some tiny station with 1 train an hour.We were advised to wait until the train arrived and buy a reservation from the conductor.  Obviously this would only work if there was space available.  If there wasn’t any space we were happy enough to stay in Cannes overnight.  So, we waited.The train arrived and we approached the conductor to establish if there was space.  He confirmed there was and we asked to buy the reservation.  He began issuing the ticket.Or so we thought.The whistle blew and he was about to

Hello, I am going from Milano to Palermo in November. I went the Eurail app to put the journey into my Trip. When I went to go and select our seats, it would only let me do the booking for a sleeper from Milano to Messina. So now I have a seat reservation from Milano to Messina, but I can’t find the ability to get a seat reservation on that same train to Palermo. Do I need one? Can someone please help me? 

Me and my friend have bought the 2 month continuous pass on separate devices to use in May/June next year. We aren’t sure how to book seat reservations so that we’ll sit together since they’re on separate devices. Also, we heard booking the Eurostar as soon as possible is best. But we don’t know how to book the Eurostar with the interrail pass or how to add it to our trips. I saw people say you add the train to your trips after you’ve bought the reservation and use the swipe button to confirm the train on your trips after you’ve. But I can’t see that on my app, so can you only do this when it’s activated? And if so, how can you book the Eurostar in advance since we won’t activate it until May 1st. Hope that makes sense, any advice would be amazing 😊 thank you x

I’ve been looking at the Plus pass, with inclusive reservations, and there are a few things that aren’t clear from the list.https://plus.interrail.eu/en/global-plus-pass#credits1 - How many credits do the international high-speed trains between France-Spain require? I’m guessing from the page, that it’s 0 on the AVE and 1 on the TGV, but it’s not clear. 2 - Will Iryo (Spain) and Trenitalia (France domestic, and France-Italy) also have inclusive reservations when they join the pass network, or will they require credits? 3 - Are there any plans to offer the option for more than 3 inclusive credits? Coming from the UK, I would have to use two credits for Eurostar, meaning there’s only ever one remaining for any trip. 4 - It says ‘most’ international TGVs require 1 credit. Does that include TGV-Lyria, the France-Belgium, and France-Germany TGVs? What about the ICE to Germany? 5 - The pass description only mentions reservations. Hi, I’m having trouble booking two seat reservations for the RENFE direct service AVE INT #9742 from Lyon Part Dieu to Barcelona Sants on December 27th, departing 14:35 and arriving 19:23. As far as I can see, this train does not seem to show up on interrail.eu. It does show up on RailEurope.com and on HappyRail, but when I look for seat reservations for two people with an Interrail Global pass I only get the standard fee of about €100 each.However, I am able to book a single seat for the standard Interrail fee of €10 through RailEurope. But when I then try to add a second single seat to my basket, I get an error message stating that Unfortunately it appears that this fare may no longer be available from the rail operator. It may be that the price or availability has changed. Please try performing a new search or selecting a different departure time or ticket type.This would suggest that there’s only a single Interrail fee seat left. But on HappyRail it seems that there are plenty seat

Hi,Looking to confirm I’m doing this the right way: I want to do Barcelona-Lyon on November 9th but I’m unable to find that train in the interrail app for that day - for (most, not all) other days it does show up.I have no issues finding it on Renfe’s website, and I was also able to get a reservation on that train on raileurope - so my understanding is that I just need to add the train manually in the interrail app and I’m good to go - is this correct?Thank you!

Hello everyone,I’ll start a train trip from France going to Belgium, Netherlands and Germany very soon. I’ll leave from Avignon and my last stop abroad will be Berlin. The thing is I want to come back from Berlin to Avignon but stay for a night in Strasbourg on my way back. Berlin → Strasbourg on the 18th of december. Then, Strasbourg → Avignon on the 19th. The issue is, if I understood well, I can book only one return ticket to France. So if I stop in Strasbourg for one night, the train from Strasbourg to Avignon will not be included. Right ? So, I was thinking: I can book Berlin → Karlsruhe (border with France) + Karlsruhe → Avignon…. But I’ll manage to go by myself from Karlsruhe to Strasbourg and take the train in Strasbourg, not in Karlsruhe. Is it possible ? To pick up the train in Strasbourg instead of Karlsruhe ? Like this, both trains are included in my pass.  Thanks, sorry in advance if it’s not comprehensible. 

Hello,Why after the date 23th of november 2025, we need to go first to Perpignan and change train when you want to go from Barcelona to Figueres? Before the 24th of November it is possible to go directly from Barcelona to Figueres Vilafant. Strange isn't it?Thank in advance for your answer

Hello if I try to plan a  TRIP FROM PATRAS TO ATHENS the planner doesn’t give any possibilities. I says to ‘cut up’ the journey bt that doesnt work neither. who can help me finding the schedules for the trip from Patras to Athens with the planner of Interrail??? Thanks

I have purchased Eurail passes for our December trip, and we plan to take the Bernina Express from Tirano on December 4th.  I have checked on the Bernina Express website many times over the past 3 or so months, and I can’t find a way to make a reservation for a date past October 27.  Is there a schedule as to when I would be able to book a reservation, or am I doing something wrong?  I appreciate any guidance.

Hi all! Very specific question on a track some of you may have experience with: Bruxelles (Nord) to Köln Hbf. It says a supplement is required, but when I go to the supplement information page of Interrail, this trainroute is not listed as one which requires a supplement. Any advice? And for those who have been on this route: Is it possible to buy the supplement ticket on the train? Thanks in advance!

Booked a ticket online thru Eurail: Paris to Eijsden ticket only shows Paris to Liege. Do i need to buy a Liege to Eijsden ticket separately, even though i indicated the full route?same on the return to Lille. Only Brussels to Lille shows on the ticket

When The Eurail pass directs you to a Lner website, it asks for a reference number to reserve seats. What number do you put?
