Hallo zusammen! Alena
I’m new to interrailing. I am travelling with 2 young girls and we have booked tickets on the night train from Nice to Paris. I have just checked the tickets and it appears we are not sleeping together, the tickets are VOITURE 18 - PLACE 086, 81 and 92. I booked them all together and the small print says if you book together you will seat together. This can’t be right. I can’t not sleep with my children. Any advice?
Hello!A group of 6 of us have a week long trip going from London to Switzerland to Venice to Croatia. I am concerned with my booking. We have first class passes and a few instances along the trip it says “You're ready to boardYou can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required.”I am just looking to make sure that if I do not buy the seat reservation that I will be guaranteed a spot on the train. Or is it a better idea to just buy the seat reservations for all 6 of us. We just don’t want to be stuck somewhere and have that screw up our whole trip. Thank you!
Hello! I’ve booked 3 tickets in the sleeper train from Nice to Paris with my children but we are not all sleeping together (despite booking at the same time) has anyone else had any experience of this?
I have filled in everything nicely via the following link . Does anyone know if you will automatically receive an email from interrail to confirm that your application has arrived?Because I have not yet received a confirmation email, and we are already 2 hours further.I'm a little worried that my application hasn't arrived after all. So it would be nice if someone from Interrail itself could help me with this.
HI friends! I am brand new to the Eurail community and trying to book my first leg of my journey from Titisee > Freiburg > Hamburg > Copenhagen on 9/30 and arriving 10/1 I just called OBB directly to make a seat reservation from as all the research I’ve done says that making a seat reservation through the app is not guaranteed and is more expensive (can someone clarify that as a side note?) I am buying a first class Eurail pass as this specific trip was required to reserve first class due to availability. My problem is that the Eurail planner is now only showing a Nightjet Freiburg > Hamburg leg … this is exactly the same time as the Intercity train that I’m supposed to be on. I’d really like to avoid any fines and the OBB service agent told me that the Nightjet is COMPLETELY sold out so I’d have to take the intercity but the timetable is exactly the same… i’ll just have to be in a seat. She confirmed there were still seats in first class for Intercity 60400 at 21:58… I
Hello!! My fiancé and I purchased a eurail but were under the impression that you had to “add” a journey in order to book seat reservations. We are going to be traveling for 4 weeks and are still unsure of just how many places we would like to see. We just want to kind of wing it and make the most of where we end up. (We bought the 10 days over 2 month pass). HOWEVER, we went to add our train to Paris for tomorrow and it shows that no seat reservations are available. It does show that you can book seats at the train station. Are we just out of luck at this point?? We bought this pass because of the freedom to just choose random days to travel and not have to set an itinerary but I’m starting to think if we don’t have everything planned out right now that we won’t be going much of any where. Any advice and help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I’m traveling to Italy on December, and had brought the train pass and downloaded the planning app.But still waiting for Eurail to release the timetable for my planning. Is there any one know when will the timetable be released on Eurail planner app?
I am dumb...first time using a mobile passI need to book 2 seats using my GLOBAL FLEX pass from LONDON to AMSTERDAM on Oct 16Is it possible there are no seats to prebook using a pass?Carol HELP
The guide book says there is a Hallstat train station across the lake from Hallstat. Rome2Rio says there is a train to Hallstat. But the Eurail planning app says there is no such trip. Can someone reveal the secret of how to get this into the app? Thanks
I am trying to buy reservation for the InterCityNotte 1954 Palermo-Rome.I know that the 1954 is is connected to the 1956 from Siracusa in Messina. The train can’t be found in the RailPlanner-app (only as a train Palermo-Messina) and when I try to book it on ItaliaRail it suggest me to buy 2 beds, one Palermo-Messina and one Messina-Rome. is there any way to use InterRail on this connection?I am unfortunately no where near Italy, so I won’t be able to buy at a station before the beds are sold out.
Hello, I want to make a night-train reservation departing from Frankfurt (Sued) to Wien at 01:17, NJ 40421. The train schedule is updated on the OBB website, but it’s not on the Rail Planner application or website. I feel quite nervous in that I know the reservation for the night train is quite difficult. When will it be reflected on the Eurail Pass?
Hello! My husband and I are travelling from Stockholm to Narvik on December 11 and would like to take the night train. I understand that tickets are generally released 90-120 days in advance (is this correct?). We are currently 75 days out and no tickets are available. We’ve checked daily for…. embarrassingly… months. A few weeks back the messaging changed from “not available yet” to “sold out.” Can anyone proved any insight into what is happening and when/if we might be able to book tickets? A little background, we are both first time travelers in Norway & Sweden and are extremely excited to see all that we can on our holiday. We have utilized the rail systems in France, Germany, Switzerland without any issues, so we’re novices, but not total newbies 😁
Hello,we are currently traveling trough Europe. we want to take the night train from Budapest to Zurich on 6th of October.the problem is, the only way of getting the ticket is having it sent by Post. We don’t know if it is going to arrive on time before the departure, moreover we don’t have an adress to give since we don’t know where we are going to be when the tickets come. Is there any other solution such as printing tickets in a train station ? We are currently in Germany and next we are going to Prague. thank you for your answers.
Hello Folks:I read somewhere but cannot seem to find it anymore that the connection from Rome Terminal to Rome international Airport on high speed local train is included for First Class global Pass holders. Can some one please point me to the link or provide information? thanks,YB
Greetings,I have a strange problem finding some trains on the Rail Planner app: i’m going to travel with a companion but we get different results when trying to find some trains.Obviously we made sure that we set the same parameters and filters, yet I get all the correct trains (first screenshot) but my companion does not (second screenshot). Neither of our passes are activated yet. Could this be a problem with the app or is there something I’m missing?
15-9-2022 Your reservation order didn’t go through????
I ma trying to make a reservation for just over a weeks time from London to Paris. The b-europe site shows some availability, but when I try to book on Eurail site it says not available. This is not just for one train, but seemingly any I check at the moment!Should I trust availability on the b-europe site? Or will I get an error when I try to book? Do they sometimes differ like this?
I have a question regarding reservations. I would like to take the night train to Vienna on Saturday, October 8: 20:03 UTRECHT CENTRAAL (Netherlands) 12h 11m, NJ 40421 Night JetOn this train I need to reserve a seat, but it says on the webstie of interrail that this can be done up to 180 days in advance. So through the website interrail.eu this is no longer possible? An alternative is to book via https://shop.oebbtickets.at/, but how can I be sure this is the same train? On the interrail website I have to pay € 16,- to make a reservation and on the oebbtickets website another € 3,- why do I have to pay twice? As a final question I would like a sleeper compartment, how do I make sure I reserve a sleeper compartment?
This is my first question to the community so thank you in advance for your assistance. This is my first question to the community so thank you in advance for your assistance.I purchased two paper global Eurail passes for myself and a friend. I am in Barcelona and would like to go to Marseille. I understand that a reservation is needed and I understand that I have to pay for the reservation. However when I go to do this it states that the reservation will be mailed to me by post. I’m presently staying in a hotel and we should travel in the next few days and am concerned that the post reservation will not arrive in time. Is there a better way to do this? Thank you again for your assistance.
Hey Guys,I want to travel from Hamburg to Paris at 01.10.2022. My ticket says I have to make seat reservations, but I can’t purchase any seat reservation for a high speed train (TGV or THA) on that day (even not on the next day). I find it hard to believe, that any train is sold out. So I’m thinking maybe I’m doing something wrong. Can you please help me?PS: under every train ist the information written:Prices unavailableNo results were found for this compound. All pass holder seats may be sold out. Please try to find another connection or see "More Info" for alternative ways to book this seat reservation. If no more pass holder seats are available, you will need to purchase a separate full fare ticket to take this train.
I’ve bought a pass at this point and understand generally how to use it and the concept of reservations. However, what I’d like to know is when, when I don’t have a reservation, is my seat confirmed/reserved? When I’m on the train? Do I then not make it on if reservations fill up or others with the EURAIL pass beat me to boarding?
I am trying to book an optional reservation for a German DB EC domestic train. E5.90 on the DB website / app. This is for a few weeks away (and already looking full). What happens if I want to change trains or cancel the reservation? Can this be done or do I loose the 5.90 and have to reserve again? Thanks
I’m planning on travelling from my own country towards another. However I don’t want to use the outbound trid. Instead I will travel with another subscription, that allows unlimited travel until the border. But it’s required to record the journeys? On the old interrail ticket it was possible to write something like “NL/BE Border”, but haven’t found a way to do this in the app. How do you do this? 😁An example could be the train from Rotterdam to Antwerp.Entering the last station in the Netherlands is no option. And there are no stations between the border and Antwerp. So entering the first Belgium station is no option as well.
If kids are included in as a part of adult pass do I need to book a seperate reversation for kids where the train demands a reservation?
Ranks & badges; how do they work?
