Train connections & reservations

Hi:  I have seat reservation on train number 2365 for three pass holders for October 7 at 9:11 AM from Paris to Strasbourg. The rail planner app only shows me 2065 train and I don’t see any trains for October 7 at 9:11 AM anymore. When I booked the tickets from SNCF for 2365, the rail planner did show me 2365 but it no longer has that train and only shows 2065. This is so confusing. Can I board 2065 train with seat reservations for 2365?  How is that even possible or Do I need to add that train manually into rail planner. I do have confirmed seat reservation for 2365 from Paris EST to Strasborug.Doe

Hey, unfortunately I discovered that there is a problem with trains going to or from slovenia after the 15.10.22. I didn’t find any information about strikes etc online. Actually I wanted to go from Italy to Slovenia (trieste-Ljubljana) and then to Croatia (Ljubljana-Zagreb), both connections are a 2h trip but after 15.10 there is only a complicated way which would take me around 11h. Any ideas why? I hope you can help me.

Hi,PLEASE HELP ASAP. I thinking of purchasing  euro rail pass (mobile pass)for 4 adults and 1 child to use in the following routes. but i am scared if there wont be enough reserved seats for 4 adults and 1 child . Is there anyway to check if there are enough reservations BEFORE buying the pass08/10/22 - Brussels to Paris Nord : leave brussels at 9.55am11/10/22 - Paris Nord to Zurich : Leave Paris at 9.25am13/10/22 - Zurich to venice Mestre : :Leave at 9.05 am15/10/22 : Vennice to Rome : Leave at 9.38am17/10/22 : Rome to Milan central : leave in the morning Also using the timetable here it mentions that certain routes dont require a reservation (i.e. Frankfurt Airport to Amsterdam). Is this correct ? Can i rely on this information as accurate ?   

The Community warns us that we should check train times as train times on the Interrail website are not updated regularly. Rather than check with each national carrier individually, eg OBB, DB, SNCF do you think that The Train Line website is useful please ?

If I getting the euro rial mobile pass (not the paper pass) do i need to physically print out all the seat reservation? If so does this mean that I cant make a reservation on day or the night before given i wont have access to a printer while traveling ?

Does anyone know if the office at Bucuresti  can book the Sofia to Istanbul sleeper? I’m not sure if this office has access to the Bulgarian booking system but it might have as there is the summer couchette coach to Istanbul. It also seems that the International Office in Sofia is now closed on Sunday and Monday!

Hello, I am planning to travel by night train from Sofia to Istanbul, but according to information from the Bulgarian Railways, buying tickets is only possible at the international ticket office of the train station. So, is there any possibility to buy the tickets in advance since I don't plan to stay in Sofia (in the morning I will arrive and leave for Istanbul in the afternoon), and I am afraid that the tickets will be sold out on the day of the trip? Thank you in advance,

Hey guys,I am currently on an interrail trip in Eastern Europe.When I saw fotos and descriptions of the Belgrad - Bar train I just fell in love with it and would now really like to go there.Unfortunately, according to DB and the Interrail App there is only a night train running on this route (I would like to go there on September, 26). Thus, I won’t be able to see much of the stunning landscapes. Do you know if the train connection departing at 7am in Belgrad has been stopped? Is there another way to experience this route during daylight? Thank you very much! 

Hello all! I am new to Eurail. I booked a ticket from Florence to Vienna on the Eurail site- one change-2 trains and paid the extra for the seat reservations and received an order number.But the order has not converted to a reservation. I can not find the reservation under my account nor did I receive an email confirming the trains and tickets I paid extra for--Any help is much appreciated.Thanks

Hii, I have a question, when I want to book a seat reservation for a night train from Bologna to Lecce, the box says: "Prices temporarily unavailable Check back in a few hours to see prices and book this seat reservation." But I have been checking for the past few days and I keep getting this error. Is there a reason that I can't book this train reservation? Should I just keep trying? I would like to know what to do because it's very important that I catch this train!!The train ride is: Bologna Centrale to Lecce on Saturday 8/10/2022 departing from Bologna Centrale at 23:39 and arriving in Lecce the next day at 8:50 am. The train number is INI755 (IntercityNotte).I’ve added a screenshot of the website, I’ve also tried booking the train via the OBB website that others have recommended but there it also says ”ticket not available”.I really hope someone can help! Eva 

Hi there.I have purchased a Euro pass first class. I have booked the trip Bergen-Oslo and the ticket says first class. However when I try to make seat reservation for the trip, the only option I have is for second class seats. Am I missing something? Thank you

Hi there, I am planning to travel from India to Europe and looking at all possible train connections. One point is reserving a seat. Many of my train journeys say - reservation is not necessary but if required, I can reserve. Now the question is - if I don’t reserve a seat and reach the train coach only to find no seat is available, are we allowed to board the train and complete the journey standing inside the coach? In other words, are standing passengers allowed? Thank you for sharing your viewpoints.

Hi, I am already on the road and two imporant questions came to my mind.I would like to ask you, how is it with Bernere Oberlander Bahnen. They are on the trails around Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Grindelwald. It is not in Pass network, but it was written, that I will get a 25 % discount from the ticket. But I wrote an email directly someone from that railcompany and they responded, that I have to buy Swiss travel pass or swiss half fare pass to habe reduction from the ticket price. That Interrail pass is not a pass to get a reduction. I read one topic about that region in forum here and there was something about that the stuff maybe did not know about the pass, but he should accept it. Does it mean, that the stuff who wrote me was wrong? Or how is your recent experience? I do not want to buy other pass, if they did not offer discount, I just will go with these rails only a little bit. And the other question is, that it is possible to go with a later train than I have in the pass? Hi all, need help with metro/train timetable on January 1st in Paris.I will take the flight from Paris to Italy on January 1st, 2023 in the morning but I am worried that there will be less metro service as it is the first day of the year. I am worried that it will be hard to get to the airport. Does anyone know if the metro/train will run as usual?

Hello, arrived today in Sofia on the Istanbul sleeper and plan on getting the 0715 train to Bucharest tomorrow.Went to the ticket office but was told the international office was closed until 0900 tomorrow.Is there anyway for us to board the 0715 train without a reservation or get one on the train?Or has anyone else had problems with the ticket office in Sofia before?Thanks,Adam 

Hello,The seat reservation site is broken. The date shown on the itineraries when searching is different from the search query, e.g. when I search for tickets on October 15 the list of itineraries shows October 14. Because of this, I booked two itineraries with the wrong date.I have messaged support many times and was told it would take 2 weeks to respond. This is urgent, so I’m here. Please help me fix these reservations ASAP.

Okay. I’ll try to be coherent in this question. I’m trying to take the high speed train from Paris to Barcelona. I have a 4 day global pass. I’m currently trying to get a seat reservation and it appears that they are available but when I choose the day and time I want it actually books me for the NEXT day. So I want 06 October, I have checked 5 times to make sure I’m getting the right day but 07 October is what is in my cart. I have tried for multiple days and it happens for all of them. Does anyone know why this is happening??Second, if there is no guarantee of a reservation what the heck is the value of the pass? I’m going to be on a tight schedule so only have the 4 day pass. But if I can’t get a reservation I will have wasted the cost of the pass, correct? I’m not going to be able to add trips elsewhere. Last, if the seat reservations are limited, it doesn’t make sense to require them at the station, right? Presumably they will sell out fast the day of. And then you’ve REALLY waste

Hey,I start traveling in 4 days and like to book tickets for a seat reservation in a TGV train. When I tried to book the seat reservation on the interrail website I saw it is only possible to buy a physical ticket which means I must be delivered by postman in 3 days. That's risky.What should I do?

Hello! I m planning a trip around Europe in January 2023, but I find "seats not available" in OBB nightjet for January 8. Does it run those days? Any other connection recommended from Venice to Múnich? Thanks a lot.
