Train connections & reservations

I want to make a seat reservation for the train from Split to Zagreb on 16 Aug with my interrail ticket. Unfortunately, It is nog possible to make this reservation in the Interrail app. I tried doing this via the ÖBB but then there is nothing available. But when i try to do this on the website of HZPP i can still book two tickets and i see there are a lot of seats available (but then i need to pay for the ticket ass well, it is not  possible to make a seat reservation only). Can anyone maybe help? Thanks!

Hello :)I bought a ticket from Lyon (France) to Barcelona (Spain). For this reservation there is no e-ticket, so I need the paper ticket. Unfortunately I made a mistake in my address so the ticket could not be sent to me. What can I do now? Best regardsJohanna 

I am using the b-europe website to book several train trips.  There are three people in my party, and we all have the global eurail pass, and have activated our passes in the rail app.  When I choose an interinary using b-europe, it is not using our passes to reduce the price of each reservation.  I DO NOT SEE a place to enter our pass numbers.  My question is:  WHERE DO I ENTER OUR EURAIL PASS INFORMATION INTO THE B-EUROPE WEBSITE so that it accounts for the fact that we have the pass? I’m have spent 6-7 hours each day this week trying to get this to work.  I’m hoping someone can offer me a very step by step guided tutorial on where I enter our pass info.  I have a profile created for each of the people in my party and see several other options for pass numbers to be entered (Eurostar, Thaylus, etc) but nowhere to enter the info on our eurail passes.  HELP!

hi, yesterday my train was canceled from brussels to frankfurt,  i m not able to find a way to have a refund for seat reservation as I ve made it from the eurail website , do you know how to do it ?and can I ask for a compensation as I was obliged to take 5 trains from brussels to frankfurt ?

Does anybody have any idea what is going on, or how I can get around this problem, please?On 19 Oct I want to use my Eurail pass on the direct train from Naples to Taormina which goes on the ferry.  Looking on the Trenitalia and the Raileurope.com websites I see this is Intercity 723 departing at 0950, and it has seats available.   But when I look on Eurail.com this train is not shown, and the only options offered are non direct services such as the 0915 and 1050, where you have to get off the train and take the ferry as a foot passenger.So why is Intercity 723 not offered as an option by Eurail.com?   And is there some other way I can make a reservation for this train without buying a ticket: sites like Trenitalia only seem to sell reservations with tickets?I do hope somebody in the community has come across this problem before and found a way around it.  Any help is appreciated.Trenitalia offers 0915 direct trainEurail.com does not offer any direct trains

Does anyone know whay I cannot find full timetables on the Railplanner app, DB or OBB for tains in Italy? For instance I am trying to reserve a seat from Ravenna to Jesi on the 18th September. The three sources above list only one train per day at 06:15 but the Trenitalia website shows one train every hour. From other posts I gather it is not possible to reserve with Trenitalia.I had a similar issue with trains from Bologna to Ravenna. In that case I added a trip manually but no QR code appears and I do not know how to make the reservation or if I need one. Does showing your pass without a QR code work on any trains? 

I am trying to book a train from Hamburg to Copenhagen on August 13th. There is a direct train at 10:49 with seats available to reserve but when finishing the booking and error of cannot book leg shows up. How is this possible with only one leg?

Hello, I want to reserve a ticket. When I go to the website and want to add myself as a traveler, an error comes up. The problem is that my name has an ä and the passport does not have this letter. There is only a strange question mark, which is probably an error message. But I can't register there and actually I wanted to continue driving it on Friday. Does anyone have tips what I can do?

I’m on a train atmfrom Amsterdam to Brussels midi, and have 39mins to make the eurail, train to London from Brussels. The Trainline app tells my 45mins when I check in FAQs it says 30mins the gate closes?’!?!? good info given before I make a payment for an un refundable ticket 

Hallo allemaal, Aankomende vrijdag wil ik met de trein van Den Bosch naar Berlin hbf reizen. De planner geeft aan dat de prijzen voor de trein tussen Hannover hbf en Berlin hbf niet beschikbaar zijn. Er staat: ‘als er geen zitplaatsen voor Pashouders meer beschikbaar zijn, moet je een apart ticket voor het volle tarief kopen om mee te mogen reizen’. Echter staat daarboven in het groen weergegeven: ‘je bent klaar om in te stappen’.Mijn vraag is of ik alsnog met deze trein mee kan reizen, zonder zitplaatsreservering? Of dat ik een andere trein moet nemen? 

Hi,Few weeks back I reserved seats for a train from Paris to Geneva via eurail. The rail company is SNCF. The train ride is starting from 2:16PM and finishing at 5:29PM.Then after few days, I received an email response from SNCF that they they had to modify the trip. The modified train ride is starting from 2:16PM and finishing at 5:46PM. The train number has not changed.So it is only a change of the arrival time of the same train. The email sent by SNCF includes “please make sure to refresh it in your app or re-print it.”. From eurail account, I still see the old seat reservation. Can someone help me if I keep using my existing seat reservation OR how can I generate the new seat reservation? 

Fragen die ich gerne Stellen möchte über die Themen Globalpass, Sitzplatzreservierung und weiteres Ich heisse rampi 27 Jahre Alt und habe folgende Fragen die hoffentlich jemand beantworten kann Ich möchte nächsten April ein Interrail Ticket nehmen und reisen und Verwandte besuchen und spare auch dadurch die Hotelkosten da ich bei Verwandten schlafen kann.Ich/ Meine Reise startet in der Schweiz und ich möchte 3 Tage Paris, 4 Tage London 4 Tage Brüssel und 4 Tage München besuchen habe gesehen gibt für 15 Tage welcher ist zu empfehlen ich bin ja nächsten März 28? Bsp. 9,4 bis am 23,4, der 9.4 gilt als 1. | Reisetag?Tgv und Eurostar Reservierungspflicht? Wie viel kostet es?  Paris -London mit Eurostar stimmt das 30-45 min vorher dort sein wegen check in' wie am Airport? Würde mich freuen über eure Antworten .Freundliche GrüsseRampi | ||    

Hi, as written in the title, I tried booking Seat Reservations for me and my friends (all Global Pass in paper form). Besides the extremly long loading times on the Interrail.com reservation page, I was most of the time unable to book any trains as all of them were labeled as “Prices temporarily unavailable.” Does this mean these trains are simply fully booked (at least for Interrail travellers) or is this just an extremely annoying bug of the website. Jamus

Is it possible to use the Self Help kiosks for Eurail passes? We just went through every option on a machine in Madrid and it wouldn’t recognize the pass. 

Hi! I am planning a trip for later this month and looking to organize my EuRail pass. I have created my Trip in the app, linked my pass, but when I go online to make reservations (as I understand, you can not do this in the app), I don’t see my trip listed.Do I need to make completely different trips for online and app? Just don’t want to mess it up, so any assistance is appreciated.

I just made reservations for 2 Eurostar trains through Eurail.  I received the confirmation email and it said to go the Eurostar website and enter the PNR codes to access my reservations there.  When I do that it says that the PNR codes are not found.  I’ve emailed both Eurostar and Eurail to find out why this could be.  I understand that it is taking a long time to receive an answer.  Has anyone had the same situation?  Thanks!

Hi. is the highspeed 4 ferry (for example from piraeus to paros at 7.25) also included in the pass? We have 2nd class as this matters.  thank you

I have just been checking my E* reservation (Bru - Lon) for later this month and noticed that it is exchangeable before departure for a small fee. I had assumed it was non-exchangeable.So I now assume that means if I am travelling and running late I could change to a later train.Has anybody experienced this and know how to do it?

Hello, I have a problem and I’m hoping you can help me. I'm living in Germany and Im on vacation in Italy. Yesterday I booked a connection back to Germany. The problem is, that I’m traveling with a night jet to Munich and from Munich I have to take another train. I’ll start my journey in Italy at 10pm and arriving Munich at 6am on the next morning, because of I’m traveling over night my outbound ticket is used when I arrive in Munich and I can’t travel with my interrail ticket again. The problem is that I have to take another train from Munich which isn’t include in my ticket anymore and the app says I have to buy me a ticket on my own. My question is, is there any other chance to take the following train from Munich without paying?

Whilst checking a few options recently I have seen some UK trains requiring reservations. The latest was when I was doing a check on a UK planner for the recent question on Holyhead to London. There are a few direct trains operated by Avanti and they clearly say a reservation is required to travel on those trains. I have also seen some LNER trains with the same requirement on the Interrail planner.

Hi! I’m travelling to Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Milan, Rome, Italy, Bern, and Frankfurt. I have 2 questions.  Do I really need to print out seat reservations or tickets for any of these cities? I leave tomorrow and plan to kind of book as I go, I find it so dumb to print things out when I have a mobile global pass  Going from Paris-Barcelona I need a seat reservation, but it says it’ll be mailed by post… but I’m staying in airbnbs etc and don’t know if I’ll get it in time. How do I work around this?? any help is greatly appreciated thanks   

Hello everyone,I’m planning to do a rail trip around Scandinavia in 2/3 weeks. Everything went well with my Interrail Pass Mobile but when I try to book some tickets train in Norway (From Bodoe to Trondheim, or Trondheim to Oslo, or Oslo to Bergen, etc...), I have the same error message every time (at any time, any train, any destinations) Even in 1 month, I’ve the same message. Here is the error message (I can’t even click on “More information”).What am I supposed to do ?  Thank you in advance for your answer.Have a nice day ! 

Hi everyone! I’d love to get a pass for Switzerland but I need more useful info like type of trains or reservations. Also, are the passes valid for the Bernina and the Glacier Express? If not, how does that work?thanks to anyone who can help!

Hello,We have a 2nd class Eurorail pass and started traveling this morning. The trains from Paris to Stüttgart today are full so we had to purchase 1st class tickets for that part of our trip at full cost. Are we able to get a partial refund and if so, how?Thank you
