Are there no direct TGV's Barcelona - Paris after 10 december 2022??

I am looking at buying an interrail pass (from the UK) as I will be housesitting for a couple of months in various places in Europe. The nature of housesitting is that things can be a bit spontaneous, plans can change and I’ll need to take opportunities as they come up. Hence why a pass where I can simply hop on a train is very appealing.Looking on beurope at reservations I see that many popular routes like London - Amsterdam or Paris - Barcelona have already sold out for 3 weeks, negating a lot of the flexibility advantage.I’ll be travelling around Scandinavia, Germany, Netherlands, France and Spain/Portugal.Is this a normal state of affairs or are they normally more accessible a few days in advance at other times of the year?If this is just normal would anyone be able to give me a list of the routes that tend to sell out more than a week in advance? And then presumably there are workarounds for at least some of these with slower trains.

I’m having SUCH a hard time using the app.  Whatever city I type in the “for/to” section, no trail shows up. It might be due to the fact that I HAVE TO add a departure time, but how could I know the departure times if that’s what I’m using this section of the app for?

G'day, we're an international couple, one with a paper interrail pass, one with a paper eurail pass.  We want to reserve seats together.  If I try to add a traveller to a "my trip” on either account, I get the error, that the cover number "doesn't look right” even though we have the paper passes in hand and can plainly see the cover numbers.   We tried the function "get cover number” which returns yet a different cover number, but that doesn't work either.    In the absence of human customer service, does anyone know how two people travelling together can possibly make a reservation together?   Thanks.

I’ve made our first seat reservation out of several on Eurail.  However they will  not allow us to chose our seats.  So, I wanted to book direct with Eurostar, with the hope they will let us chose our seats.  However, they want a Pass Cover Number.  We have mobile passes, so I don’t think I have that number.  I’ve asked Eurail for it, but to no avail.  Any suggestions on how to book seat reservations and be able to chose seats?

I ordered 4 night train tickets for me and my friends and said it to be delivered to an address in Germany. The tracking number after putting into the tool on postnl website says. Our apologies, we did not make the promised timeframe for your delivery. Keep an eye on your track & trace overview for more information.It has been over 4 days now and we need them in time asap. What can be done to reattempt the delivery? 

Hi, I can’t see the train reservations in my account in reservation overiew. Is it normal?

I booked several seat reservations weeks ago and they all showed up in the reservation overview, I also checked two days ago and they were there. However, today they aren’t there anymore. Has someone experienced something similar? Is this a technical bug? I am really worriedFor information: I tried using a different browser, my phone etc. and it still doesn’t show up. One train I made a reservation for got cancelled, could that be the issue?

A few weeks ago I booked a few reservations. I received the confirmation mail and tickets and there were all in my reservation overview. But when I log in now, I don't see the reservations in my overview anymore. I do still have them in my mailbox, but when they're not in the overview anymore does that mean they're cancelled or something (i didn't get an email about this), or is this a technical issue?

I travel with a Global Pass, first class. I try to make seat reservations for me and my wife for a trip from Bari Centrale to Bologna Centrale on September 2, 2022. I got the advice to do that with OBB, but the only result I get is “Ticket not available". How can I make the seat reservations (at Trenitalia, Frecchiarossa). 

I want to go from Rotterdam to Porto. When I Google or use other planning tools I can find plenty or routes. But when I try via the interrail app - even when I try just small bits - there are 0 options. Does this mean interrail does not support the trains between certain destinations? Or should I book those seats somewhere else? 

Hallo,  Wir (2 Personen) wollten heute mit dem Zug von Vigo nach Barcelona. Hierfür muss man in Madrid umsteigen und für beide Züge braucht man eine Sitzplatzreservierung, die in jeweils in etwa 10€ kosten. Der Zug nach Madrid hatte Verspätung, so dass wir den Abschluss nicht bekommen haben und in Madrid an den Schalter gegangen sind. Dort hat man uns erklärt, dass es heute keine freien Sitzplatzreservierungen mehr für Interrailer nach Barcelona gibt. Also mussten wir uns normale Tickets in einem Zug für 90€ kaufen.  Meine Frage ist, ob ich eine Chance habe, zumindest einen Teil der Kosten für Sitzplatzreservierungen und neues Ticket zurück zu erhalten. Ich finde es immens unfair, dass wir alles richtig gemacht haben und weil Renfe seine Züge nicht pünktlich bekommt, wir jetzt auf brutal hohen Kosten sitzen bleiben. 

Hi community, I am planning a trip where I need to travel from the UK to France (via Eurostar) on a specific day - 12th September 2022.I am aware that I need to have a reservation to travel on the Eurostar with an Interrail pass. However, when I try to use the reservation tool to check if reservations, I’m not sure because it says the pass reservations have ‘mostly sold out’ - I only need 1 so as long as they are not completely sold out I’m fine!?   I don’t want to get a pass until I know I can travel. I have read some other threads in the forum about using the rail operators websites to check reservation there but as far as I understand Eurostar does not sell reservations without tickets. Tickets available but that doesn’t mean they would have Interrail reservations. 

In the topic “Issue - Facing difficulties to make reservations in Italy”, you said that you would contact Support on the problem of 1st class reservations being issued for Trenitalia trains when 2nd class were ordered.Do you have any news on this please?I have several reservations this problem applies to. I emailed support for help nearly 2 weeks ago but no reply yet. any help please?thank youRob

Booking a train from budapest to bucuresti, i can fill every information in the cart but the process is blocked at “process with payment”. The conditions are accepted  

Hii, Me and my friends are trying to pay for our seat reservations. Nevertheless, we can’t click on the button which leads us to the payment. We will be travelling in about a month so we really need to book, otherwise the trains will be full. Does anybody know a solution on how to fix this?

Hi , holding a French Eurail pass and unable to make seat reservations for trains to/from Trouville/Deauville and Paris.   Eurail website site shows reservations are required but unavailable but this cannot be correct as showing same for next 2 months - obviously a glitch with the system. Any help appreciated. thank you

Hi, I just booked seat reservations from Amsterdam to Nice and Nice to Wien, and the total of my cart was at 118 euro. As I was getting to point where I pressed “Agree to terms and conditions” the price recalculated and shot up to 266 euro, more than double. What the fuck? I am already super disappointed in how much the mandatory seat reservations cost to the point where I’m thinking why did I even buy the pass? What’s the point of the pass if the seat reservations end up costing as much as the pass?

Hello,Can I buy normal tickets  Stara Zagora-Istanbul (Halkali) at the international ticket office in Burgas??It is possible to buy  own couchette compartment (only for 2 persons) ?Do you know how many carriages are on the train Bucarest to Istanbul? 

I have train from Bratislava ( 14h06) to Warsaw with one change in Breclav. I have only 6 mins for a change.Do you know if the train to Poland(o thing from Vienna) will be waiting in Breclav if my train from Bratislav is delayed?

Hi everyone, I have a two month interrail pass and it is valid for another 1.5 months as of today. I recently used the pass for a journey which was more than an hour late. Should I wait till end of my pass for compensation of the delay (I plan to travel during the coming days), or can I do it already? Note: I know it's technically possible, but I'm looking for suggestions and best practice :)
