Train connections & reservations

My husband and I are trying to book Berlin to Krakow and Krakow to Vienna, both need seat reservations. There are no trains to and from Poland after about 2 September showing on the app.We have looked on general tain websites and these are showing a number of trains on these routes Any idea when these will show on the app? Thanks!  

I only found out that, the reservations from the website don't show up on the app, after I had already booked them. I think I accidentally created two trips (one on the website and one in the app), but I only have one pass. Should I just show the inspector my ticket reservations from the website alongside my pass on my phone? Will I have troubles? I'm afraid that if I delete the trip from the website, my reservations will be gone and I can't delete the trip on my phone (although I haven't bought anything yet).Also different question but I made a mistake while putting in my city of birth for my account on the website. Is that going to be a problem? After all the mistake doesn't show up on the tickets and everything else e.g. my ID, name, etc. are all correct.Thanks for your help!

Hi community! I have an Interrail pass and was making a seat reservation for a TGV, when the app forwarded me to the Eurail website instead. So now I have an activated Interrail pass + a Eurail seat reservation.Can I just show my Interrail pass on the day? Or will there be a trouble because of the mismatch?Would be grateful for your experiences:)

HelloOn August 22 I would like to get back from Praha to Mulhouse in France. Most of the trips that don't require reservation based on rail plannar require a lot of connections. And some connection at night makes me witait up to 3-4h at the train station (Decin)So i'm looking for alternative trip, like doing Praha-Zurich - basel - mulhouse but the timetable doesn't work out well…Do you have any suggestion as to trips I could make to go home? It can be a trip using 1 or 2 travel days actually

Hi everyone,I’ve been having some issues with making a reservation for the train going from Krakow to Berlin. The specific trains are the following:Krakow to Berlin on 6th August, departing a bit after 10amor the same route on the following day (7th August). I can only make reservations on the intercity.pl for full price (~160PLN) or on polrail for 53PLN, but that is a paper ticket for which I’d need to pay a further 30PLN for ‘posting fees’ (and you can only book for tickets that are more, than 5 days from today). I also looked at other people’s questions on this forum, but it seems like most people are coming from Berlin making it possible for them to call in to DB and pick up a ticket somewhere. I couldn’t find the same alternative for Poland.If you could follow this rather hectic description, thanks a lot, here comes my question:Is it possible to just go into Krakow’s train station and buy a ticket there or it’ll be fully booked as we’re in high season? Or should I just pay that 83

Can you reserve a seat at the ticket office? As I was trying to reserve a seat via the app but for some reasons it said my pass number is invalid. Thanks!

Hi, I’m trying to book a night train from Brasov to Budapest on the 10/10/22 but it won’t let me proceed with payment no matter what time I choose to leave Brasov. I get to the last page but won’t light up. I also get that notification with some of my journeys saying “Please try to find an alternate connection.The unavailable leg will be removed fromyour cart”  it doesn’t actually remove itself from my cart and when I try to remove it myself it won’t let me.  so could someone please let me know how I can book my train. I’ve also tried on safari and chrome browsers 

have x3 eurostar reservations for 13/08/22 attempted to change dates due to rail strike on the 13/08/22 but the eurostar portal requests £45 fee. thought that one free change of date was allowed, have eurostar changed the rules.   

Hello i am travelling to Milan from Zagreb and i am worried that i can’t catch the train between stops part of the trip will be by bus to pass the border and check our ids. Does anyone know a way to have reinsured that my trip is not going to be delayed and i will make it on time? It’s my last one to use so i can’t my mistakes 

Hello! I begin interrailing next week and my first leg is from Zurich- Vienna, departing at 21:40. However, I made a mistake when booking the seat reservations. I booked the seat reservations for the NightJet train that arrives in Vienna at 7:58am. The train that is on my pass is a different train that also leaves Zurich at 21:40 but arrives in Vienna at 6:40am!! I am unable to add the Nightjet train to my pass and I am now unable to buy a reservation for the train that arrives earlier. Will I be able to board the nightjet train just using my Seat Reservation ticket or will I also need my Global Pass?

Last month I bought train reservations that needed a supplement, both paper and digital. The digital tickets arrived the same day by email, while the paper ones were sent a few days later, however they have not yet arrived, tracking the shipment it seems that the package is in Italy, but it is not known when it will reach its destination. Since I have to leave for the interrail in a few days, I was wondering if it was possible to receive a digital document certifying the seats on the trains I purchased.

Hi!I hope someone can help me. The day after tomorrow, I want to take the train from Bologna to Stuttgart. I need two seat reservations. But I don’t really understand what options I should click on the OBB website.  When I click the 6 euro seat reservation it only reserves a seat on the the train from München to Stuttgart, but a reservation on the train from Bologna to München is especially important because it’s expected to be very busy. When I click on ‘ticket already exists’ I have to click the 6 euro reservation as well. Is it sufficient to only click the top one of 20 euros in total? I can’t see if I have a seat reservation then. I hope someone knows the answers :) Thanks!!

How do I book as a group via the mobile app? Is that impossible, can it only be done via the website? Also, why is the website so disconnected from the app? I have an account to log into on the website, but just have to enter my pass details to get into the app.  Big question: If I book an interrailing trip via the website will that come through on my app? As my app is connected to the same pass? Any help would be massively appreciated, only got a few days to book! 

Hi,I am planning a trip and wanted to end in Athens. I was thinking of going by ferry from Bari Italy to Patras then from Patras to Athens. I was wondering if there is a train from Patras to Athens, if not what would be the best option for someone with an interrail pass. And where can I see the timetable and reserver the ferry from Bari to Patras and do you know if it is included in the interrail pass. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, just lost my phone today on the train, someone found it back and left it in basel switzerland station. Tomorrow is my last travel day, i was planning to go back to paris but before that i need to go to basel from kehl germany. I cannot make reservations online with my computer, need help to deactivate my pass and add it on another device for tomorrow thank you !!!

Apologies if this has been asked.  Newbie here.  I'm planning on traveling around parts of Europe for a few weeks.  Route sorted.  Do I have to book all of the trains individually and work out travel distant and timings myself or is there such an app - seems a very painful process of trying to plan the trains on the route. Any help appreciated. 

Family travelling from Brussels to Cologne on a Germany country pass (the route is covered).I found a train in the Interrail app that says “reservations not required” but I thought I’d play it safe and reserve seats anyway. The German site bahn.com says the train is fully booked. So, which is it - can we travel without reservations, or is the train so full that we won’t get on even without reservations? It’s only a two hour trip so as long as we can get on I’m sure we can sit on our bags if we can’t find a seat. Just worried about actually getting on the train. Same situation for all trains that day or I would have booked whichever one I could.

Hi allI would like to take the train from Athens to Thessaloniki on August 16th, but the Interrail app indicates a compulsory seat reservation. I cannot do this via the Interrail website (Not available from Interrail.eu. This seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.), but I can’t seem to find a way to reserve a seat via the Hellenic Trains or Happyrail websites either.Does anyone know how to do this? I will be in Athens from August 8th on - would it be an option to make a reservation at the train station in person? Thanks in advance!

Hi!I am trying to book seat reservations from Bergen-Voss and Myrdal-Oslo, but cannot get through the booking as the "continue to traveller details" button does not work.I have also tried to book on the Norwegian vy page, but you can only book reservations in addition to single tickets - which I do not need because I have a global pass. Where/How can I book my seat reservations otherwise?

Hey, when i make a reservation on this site i have to enter my MobilePass Code. Does this - if done on my Computer - effect in any way my pass on the Smartphone? Or does it activate the pass? And which role plays the Trip I connect on the Computer if i have another Trip connected in the mobile App i plan to use for the journey? Kind Regards,Florian Edit: The Train in question is the INT 461 from Bucuresti Nord to Sofia, so if anyone knows another Website where booking is possible that could work aswell

Hi, I just posted a topic as the trains times available on the interrail website are different from those available on the app. For instance, I would like to book (and find out about reservations for):Cologne - Krakow (Monday 5th of September) - 06:17 - 18:10 (reservations needed from Berlin-Krakow) However, this is not shown on the app. So how would i show the train ticket collector that I have a reservation? Or is that only for the first day of travel? After that do I just show the QR code? The only journeys available on the app are night trains. Thanks,Alex
