I bought an Interrail Global Pass.I’m trying to book a seat for the train from Copenhagen to Hamburg on the 19th of August (I’m flexible with dates)However, the interrail app is not allowing me to book and on the German train website is not possible to make interrail reservations.I’m calling them and there is no answer. If I wait to get to the station to make a reservation in person, chances are there will be no seats left. Is there any other way of booking seats on trains? Thanks,
Hi guys!I have the interrail global pass with 4 trips within a month. I hve already booked one trip from Vienna in Austria (where I live) to Stralsund in Germany. Now I wanted to book a train from Stralsund to Regensburg and it showed me that I had to use the second outbound/inbound trip. Why is that?I should mention that I`ve accidentally filled in Germany as my country of residence instead of Austria.Could anyone please help me? Our journey is going to be on the 10th, so it is pretty urgent...Thanks in Advance!!Tilmann
Hi, I have a train selected from Wien Hbf (Vienna) to Krakow Glowny (Poland) that requires seat reservation. On the app it requires me to go to an external site. I can either book with the CD or Deutsche Bahn; however, when I go to the sites and find the train it has no option to allow me to even reserve. I do not travel to Poland (hopefully) for a little over a month and unsure if the timing is not allowing me to reserve? Someone help please!
Hi Guys, myself and friends are trying to book trains from zagreb to split and back again at the start of september but there isnt an option to reserve seats for every single train for the next few weeks. Is there an issue with the booking system or are all of the trains actually reserved? Thank you
I made an earlier post; however bare with me please as I am new to interrailing!I decided to buy the 15 days for 2 months pass. I made an itinerary which on the most part has worked out; however, my origin is from Split Croatia and I wanted to take a train to Zagreb. The route requires reservation and when I am sent to eurorails external link to book them, all tickets from various days say I am unable to buy the seats. I have heard that Croatia allows you to buy tickets at the box office, hoping that is the case can anyone vouch for this? I am having the same issue with Zagreb to Ljubljana.I also planned a route from Vienna to Krakow and then Krakow to Prague, again with seat reservations allowing me to boo. This was the earlier post I made regarding this issue where someone commented back how Polish trains usually wait 30 days beforehand to book. Again, can anyone vouch for this? Would it be the same for both to and out of Poland? I also received another external link (oebb.at) where
I think it's very wired that I submitted the delay compensation form (https://www.eurail.com/en/help/delay-compensation) twice but nobody came to contact me nor did I receive any compensation. I'm wondering if I can find someone help me here.
Hi guys, my friend and I have a seat reservation for a train, but since we arrived in the city we realised that it is too early for us, as we still would like to enjoy the city. Do you think it is possible to change the time of the train but keeping the reservation?
I cannot find the PNR code for eurostar ticket in my email. The email says it can be found under the train details, but I didn't find it.
Hi, I’m trying to reserve a train to Poland in september, but it says that all the seats are already booked. What do i do?
Have two passes starting Sep. 10. First train is from Geneva at 9:15AM but when I tried to get seat reservations it only showed from Noon. Should I get those or is it for a different train or am I trying to get them too early or what is going on? Thanks in advance
(ENGLISH)Hello,I'm still brand new here and would like to start in a month & don't want to do anything wrong … In my selected route abroad and also on my selected route back to the home country, i get a notification saying “Conditions are valid" (orange bars, see picture 1). It is said that these conditions apply to travel with a one country pass and that more information could be found under "travel information".Unfortunately, I couldn't find any "travel information", nor find out why this notification is not displayed for all of the possibile routes this day (but exactly for the routes we have chosen, since we are happy to have longer stops at the individual train stations —> picture 2 and 3).What do I have to do now or do I have to consider something special? Why is that shown to me (only on the selected routes)?I am grateful for any help!Kind regards, Katharina :) (GERMAN)Hallo, bin noch ganz neu hier und möchte gerne in einem Monat starten & nichts falsch machen…Bei me
Dear everyone,I was hoping that someone could help me with the following: I am trying to make a seat reservation for the train from Berlin to Gdansk, but I get the following pop up message: ‘No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders. Please try searching for another connection or find an alternative way to book’.For me it is hard to believe that this train is fully booked as it is in 2 months and it does not seem like a super popular route to me.. I did understood that reservations also can be made at the station, but I’d rather do this in advance. Could anyone help me? :) Thank you so much in advance!!!P.s. one last question: sometimes seat reservation is recommended but not required. Could it be possible, when no reservation is made, that you are not allowed into the train?
Hello, i want to take the bus from oslo to kristinehmn at 15:42 and the train from kristinehmn to Stockholm at 19:45. There is only a short transfer time about 10 min. Will the train wait if the bus has a delay or do I have to be afraid to miss the train in Kristinehmn so that I have to stay there over night?
Hi there, we have a night train tomorrow night from Zurich to Utrecht. We leave our current location tomorrow at 6am and can’t find any print shops that we will be able to get to in time… what should we do? thank you!

Hi everybody, tomorrow our journey begins! We're looking forward to it 😄I've got one question. We travel form the Netherlands to Luxemburg and have to switch trains several times. If we want to take some extra time at some station (let's say take a break in Liege spontaniously), do we have to change our travel schedule in the app?We have a Global Pass. Thanks for your help!
Hello, I am contacting you because I have a few questions about the pass I won in January:Is there a reservation deadline, knowing that I would like to leave in August? Also, are there any discounts for other passengers' train reservations with my pass? Finally, I see on the application prices for trips but these are free?Thank you in advance for your response Cordially
I’m the carer of a disabled passenger (Global 1 month pass), travelling to Istanbul from UK in August. I’ve managed to reserve seats/beds as far as Sighisoara (Romania), but beyond that I get any of 3 messages:quickly shows an reservation option but it disappears when I try to add to cart Tells me Seat reservation required, but doesn’t show price/or says beneath that prices are unavailable Tells me in red “seat reservations unavailable”.It suggests I try other ways to book, which I have (country websites), but can’t seem to book tickets for European trains whilst not in a European country (I’m in Scotland) 😢It’s a bit harder to negotiate travelling, when looking out for someone vulnerable’s health and well-being, so I’m keen to resolve the overnight journeys before going. Can anyone help/suggest ways to do it?Thanks 🙏 🤞
Bonjour!
Hi, I am sorry if this was asked before but I don't find the answer. I am in Germany and I want to take tomorrow the train from Hamburg to Copenhague but in the information post of Berlin Hbf said to me that I need compulsory reservation when interrail web and app told me that it isn't. I would like to know if I can sit on the floor with this pass but no reservations in this train and Denmark, Sweden and Norway ones. Thank you so much for the help and sorry again if this was answered before.
Hey travelers, we’re currently trying to plan our trip from Munich to Bordeaux. This is our first Internal Trip and we’re still struggling with the reservation (and the high reservation fees). Problem 1) A lot of trains seem to be blocked. When I click on a train connection in the app, there’s a red text telling me that there’s no booking option. Can somebody explain to me if this is a platform bug or if those connections may be available soon? Problem 2) The few connections which I can book are pretty expensive due to the reservation fee. Are there any tips for cheap connections from Munich to Bordeaux or is it a “normal” Interrail issue to pay so much money on top? Best greetings from Munich,Jona
I am planning on trying to get from the Normandy/Caen area to London on August 7th. On the Eurail it says that we have to get seat reservations but when we try and book seat reservations it says they are unavailable or full. Is there any other way to get seat reservations? I assume go to the train station? I am at Paris Nord right now trying to get assistance but am unlucky. Our route would probably be Caen to Paris and then Paris to London.
In the rain planner I can’t find cities like Beograd or Sarajevo which makes it difficult to find the train connection from there to other cities. Has anyone the same issues and is able to help me how to book the train without needing to pay for it? thanks for York help. p.S. I am in Budapest right now and want to see the south East of Europe . Which city do you recommend tk visit next?
Hi!! I’m trying to make a reservation and it’s only possible by delivery, any electronic ticket, and I need it for next week and there says it need until 22.08, is it normal? Why can’t I have a online ticket?
Hi, We booked reservations for the Paris - Tarbes overnight train on the 6/7 which was cancelled due to the French Rail strike announced the day before. We booked the reservations through the Interrail website and are at a loss as to how to go about reclaiming the reservation fees. No one either SNCF or interrail has been in touch. Any ideas??
