Hello :)I just bought my interrail ticket and try to organize my first interrail journey!I`m planning to take the eurostar from Bruxelles to London but I`m not sure what I`m planning to do in Bruxelles/ how much time I need there jet so I`m nor sure which time I should reservate the train.Is it possible to reservate a train and then spontaneously rebook it, to be able to take the train that`s scheduled a few hours later? Or would I have to pay the reservation fee again?Thanks!

Hello everyone!I'm going on my DiscoverEU trip next week, and the  first train ticket, Warsaw-Berlin, is a paper ticket. While booking seats, the Interrail website does not let me put in my Latvian address, as the ticket will not arrive on time. Is there a way to get the paper ticket digitally and print it out myself?Thank you all in advance!

Hello, I want to make reservations for my trip on the Interrail website. I add the desired reservations to the cart but the cart remains empty and it is therefore impossible for me to pay. Has anyone ever had this problem? I tried to contact Interrail support but they don’t answer. Thank you all. 

HelloWe want to travel (with our two kids) on a night train from Split to Zagreb in August (on a Monday night). The reservations tool seems to say we don’t need a reservation, which I am sure is not true! We want to book a couchette room so that we can all have a bunk. I have spoken to the Croatian railway company HZPP, but they said that with an interrail pass we can only reserve the couchette in person at the railway station. We will only be able to get to the train station on the day we want to travel. We can’t afford not to travel that night, as we have a tight schedule the next day. Does anyone know if it gets full up? Is it safer to book and pay for a couchette separately? it’s not expensive as there’s a special discount currently. Any thoughts very welcome! Thank you

Still on Monday I booked seat reservations from Vicenza to Milano Centrale, from Strasbourg to Paris Est and from Paris Est to Bruxelles-Midi. To this day I haven’t recieved the confirmation email with my seats despite the payment being processed and the bank report stating that the money has been collected by “Eurail Utrecht NLD”.It has been two days since I first contacted the support service and I recieved a single email by an operator on Tuesday in which I was asked to send the payment ID, thing that I did. After that I never heard anything from anyone. Also my seat reservation overview is empty. I should leave on Monday and there are no more seats aviable so I’m stuck in limbo seeing as my travel companion has managed to book his seats without any kind of problem. 

Hey! Am traveling from Hamburg to Copenhagen with 2nd class global pass. 2nd class seat reservations are sold out. Can I make seat reservations for 1st class ? The train from H. To C is NOT a direct train hoes via Flensburg abd Fredericia. 

Hello:) I looked for quite a while here for an answer of my question, but was not able to find a solution.I would like to book a reservation for the night train INI1960 from Siracusa (21:45) to Napoli (7:22). I would like to book two reservations for a private cabin. On interrail.eu it is just possible to book a 4 person cabin. On italiarail.com  I can select it, but due to the known issue with this website I can not book it (The problem is, that they want an 8 digit Passholder number which is not available on the mobile app). On trenitalia I could also book a 2 person private cabin, but of course the whole ticket, I am not able to just book the reservation.Which option do I have to buy just the reservation for a private 2 person cabin for this train?I was thinking a long time to purchase the Interail ticket. It is my first time, and unfortunately this train would be the first travel of my interailtrip, as I am starting in Siracusa, and for the reason that it is so expensive on the Tre

Hi, this summer my girlfriend and I going to interrail in East Europe. We want to go from Sofia to Bucharest on the 5th of August, but it's impossible to book this train. Is there any other website to book this trip with our interrail ticket? Thanks for helping us out!

As I can’t make a reservation for the Bucharest Istanbul train online, and yet would like to avoid any potential disasters as I am travelling with my panicky father, would there be any way for someone to make the reservation for us at Bucharest train station/is there any way at all that I can make the reservation in advance: We will only be arriving in Bucharest a couple of hours before taking the train, so that’s why there could be a problem. In any case, how full would the train be likely to be in September? Thanks

Hi,My husband and I were originally scheduled to travel from Prague to Salzburg via train on August 8th. Our original schedule had us taking a train from Prague to Linz and then catching another train in Linz and arriving in Salzburg. I received an email that there is a “discrepancy” with our trip and that our connection may no longer be available. When I looked at the timetable (https://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/dn?start=1&S=Praha%20hl.n.&Z=Linz/Donau%20Hbf&date=08.08.2022&time=10:04), it appears that our original route is no longer available. Instead, it appears that we would need to take a train from Prague to Rybnik, take a bus from Rybnik to Linz, and then catch our original train from Linz to Salzburg. My question is: can I use my original ticket to board the new train and bus, or do I need to be issued a new ticket? I don’t see a way to change the ticket on the website without paying for it again. It’s also not clear on the timetable who the bus operator is.

Hello!It's the first time I'm using an interrail pass and I would like to have your advice on something. My sister and I were planning to take the night train from Hamburg to Fredericia on the 17th of August, departing at 23:56 and arriving at 4:39. According to the app, it's a train whitout seat reservations recommended. For more safety we reserved seats for all our journeys but I have a problem with this one : I can't reserve seats (I tried several websites) but I can buy tickets for 57,80€. The trains just before and just after can't take reservations either. We are staying only one day in Hamburg and we have a train connection at Fredericia so we don't have much room for manoeuvre. Do you think that we can take this train without reservations and not encounter difficulties or do you think that we should buy tickets even if it's a bit pricey?Thank you in advance for your advice,Océane

Hi in traveling europe right now and we had some trouble. We booked a trainticket to München from Zagreb and i could reserve a seat at the trainstation but i cant seem to find the trip in the interrail app and this isnt the first time it happen. Luckely they didnt check it before but now i wounder why You cant find some trains on interrail?  and some times when you check on the website and the app they show you different trains and different times…

Hello everyone! I hope somebody could help me. I bought a 1st class One Country Pass for Austria. All the trains I will take are OBB Eurocity trains for which the seat reservation is not required.Given that, is it possible to stay in first class on EC trains without a seat reservation? 

Hi, i wondered if anyone could help me. The interail website is showing availabiltiy a 6 berth couchette on the 8th of August from Zurich to Zagreb. It allows me to add it to my basket and proceed to payment, but as soon as I click confirm it tells me that the journey is no longer available. But when i go back to search it still shows as available. Does anyone have an insight as to why this might be happening and whether the journey is actually available.Thank you

That means they are sold out? Hello,It is my first Eurail trip, and I travel with a friend. We have planned to take a High speed train the 24/07 at 6h55 with the pass (ICE 9571). However, since I have activated my pass in may, i cannot make any seat reservation on this specific trip (all of the other reservations have been done normally). I thought that it was because we could only reserve few days before the travel on this train. Yet, it is still not possible and I start to worry (knowing I have to take it in 4 days), wether I will be able to start my trip with my friends or not.I have seen that some people were provided a pass cover number, like a miracle solution. Therefore how does it work, and how can I obtain one ?Best regardsMichel

Hi everyone,  Does anyone know if the ÖBB (railjet) reservations for interrail pass holders are limited the same way for instance Eurostar reservations are? Can I just book a reservation on the ÖBB main homepage or am I bound to the interrail website? Background: For some reason booking a seat doesn't work with the interrail website, I wpuld have to book it at a ticket machine of the departure station. I am only in said city for a shortish transfer time and don't particularly fancy stranding there in the middle of this extreme heatwave. Depending on my chances of not being taken on board I would want to readjust my travel plans. Thanks for your help! Edit: Sorry for the "??" in the title, that was lazy editing. I am going on interrail this summer with a friend and we have serious problems with reservations! First my friend and I do not have the same timetables in our app and then the reservations are impossible to make at any date in poland, they say that they are fully booked at any date or time.

My wife & I are on a train now travelling between Como, Italy & Basel, Switzerland.  We bought reservations because they were required for this train, or so we thought. The aisle in our car is packed with people standing up.  There is no way to get up to go to the WC, etc.  I was under the impression that you had to get a reservation even to get on the train.  Since one of my future reservations for train travel never arrived in the mail, I figured I would not be able to get on the high-speed train and would have to book a slower train that would delay my arrival for 4 hours. Now that I see that these  people are allowed to stand up for duration of the trip without reservations, I was thinking of doing the same for my trip between Narbonne, France & Barcelona Spain, since the reservation I bought never arrived. Finally, my question ... .  Are passengers with tickets and no reservations generally allowed to stand in the aisles for the duration of their trip even though reser

Bonjour, Pourquoi certains trains sont indiqués comme non disponible avec le pass. Comment cela se passe t il alors , si l on se passe du site railplanner, qui ne fonctionne pas comme tout le monde le sait...,et que nous choisissons n importe quel train sur un site quelconque, tcheque, polonais, italien ou autre et que justement cette restriction ne soit pas signalée. Risquons nous une amende alors ?Merci

Quick question - we are travelling from Paris to Caen on Friday 5th August and are, so far, unable to book online as there are no reservations remaining.  According to the Eurail advice, we can buy the tickets at the station.  Will these be at our Eurail/Interail discount or will we be paying full price?

At the eurail website they say I have to change trains 1x. On the Austrian train connection website they say I have to change trains 2x. Which one is right?My journey will be from Zurich to Ljubljana and will definately make 1x stop in Schwarzach St. Veit (Austria).

Hi everyone :) I want to book a Seat reservation for the train from Frankfurt HBF to Paris Est since it is mandotory. However, neither in the interrail nor the DB website is it possible to book it. I am currently in Kopenhagen so i can't go to a ticket machine and try it there. I do have to take this train so i dont know what to do. Anybody got some suggestions? :)

Assume traject Hamburg-Stockholm August 4 departure 10:53, Stockholm-Kiruna august 5 departure 18:11)1.Whenever I make a reservation in interrail portal that combines several legs from different train operators all involving reservations: do either all of them succeed or all of them fail, or either some of them succeed (and I am charged for) and some not?2. In the case that the there are several trips, (e.g. Hamburg-Stockholm on august 4, and Stockholm-Kiruna on 5th), each trip added separately in the cart, do all of them success, or in could be that some of them succeed and some others do not?Below it is my understanding of how the reservations work.
