Train connections & reservations

 Hello,I have ordered my first reservation from Copenhagen to Stockholm (e-ticket) and Oslo to Bergen (paper ticket) on 2nd July through the interrail website.The payment succeeded and I got an order confirmation that stated that i would receive the tickets within 30 minutes. It’s more than 4 days and i still haven’t received any email. Also the tickets are not visible in my account.I have sent a support ticket but they try to reply within 2 days but they haven’t. I am shocked that there is no telephone number available either. Do you have any tips for me how to reach out for help? Thank you in advance, Rish

I have a 1 month global interrail pass, where my first trip is at the beginning of august. For my second trip later in august and i am traveling with a different person. How can i make seat reservations for us? Or how can i connect the two passes in one trip? I know, that i have to buy my outbound/inbound tickets for the second trip separately, but do any of you know how we can sit together at these two rides?Thank you :)

Hi there,We have travelled  in Spain by train / AVE lots of times before (especially between 2014 and 2017) and we always made our reservations via a Dutch company specialized in international train travel, called Treinreiswinkel.nl. In the past, they were very customer friendly, but now (having changed to Treinreiswinkel / Happyrail) it’s quite the opposite…In fact they promised to make our reservations as always (5 in total, so no huge number), but as soon as we bought our Interrail passes from them, they simply said ‘thank you very much’ and left us in the cold  time after time, simply refusing to help us any further. So now, months later and with our planned trip approaching quickly (mid august), we still have NO reservations whatsoever…So we would really like to make our own reservations online at Renfe.com, but even that seems impossible… It’s 2022, so this can’t be right, can it?? Are we overlooking something? Or is it really impossible to make RENFE / AVE reservations for Inter

Good morningI have a doubt with the reservations because as Renfe (Spain) has indicated to me, to make the reservations I must activate my global pass. However, I don't know if I activate this pass so far in advance, it could expire the date of use because I have bought a 1-month global pass. could you help me?

Unfortunally I did a wrong reservation from Mannheim to Paris. I did two times Mannheim Paris, instead of Paris Mannheim back. I could not cancel it online, so I did a third reservation to be sure, which I can not see on my accout either. Can I get the 15 Euros back for the wrong reservation. Is there any chance to call somebody by phone???

Hi, I want to travel from Amsterdam to Basel with Night Jet 403 / NJ403 starting on the evening of the 17th of July. It however seems at oebb.at that there are no tickets for the sleeper part of the train, only the regular seated IC part of the train.The same seems to be the case for every day around the same week. This makes me wonder: is there something wrong with my search or is this really the case? If it is correct, do you have any feeling if it will likely show up seats closer to departure due to cancellations, or should I look for other alternatives?Thanks,

Hey all, I’m planning to go travelling with my partner on the 14th through to the 30th, as we’ve come to plan out our route we’ve had no luck finding any services that take us between the destinations we’ve selected, our route is: Athens - Istanbul - Belgrade - Sarajevo - Ljubljana - Venice - Paris - London. We’re flying from our country to start our interrail journey in Athens. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about hitting this 100% or am I dreaming, any guidance/experience shared is deeply appreciated. Warm Regards

Hi all,I am travelling in Aug,2022 from Munich to Salzburg.I see two trains departing at the same time for example: at 18:55 , both OBB railjet and regiobahn are departing with significant price difference. Are these two trains same or different? Or both of them attached as single train?Since I am travelling with a kid two yr old I am looking to book the train that can offer me confirmed seats in 1st class considering the holiday season. I did try to book from OBB site for seats - however for any date I try it says ticket not available.. Please advise.

Hi guys, I have 2 question, the first one follows:Like written on the title of this topic, i cannot buy a seat reservation for a TGV Paris-Milan. I’ve got the same problem before for Amsterdam-Paris but resolved with https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish   Unfortunately this site don’t allow to make a seat reservation Paris-Milan.Anyone knows about other sites to do this? I’m also thinking about to make a seat reservation in a ticket office in Paris but i’ve never did it before and i’m scared of not be able to do it when i will be there (maybe no seats avaiable or something else), so my second question is:anyone have experience on make seat reservation last minute into a station? It’s possible or better avoid this solution? If matter, I have a paper pass (no mobile), I specify it just in case there is any differenceThank you all for your tips!!

Hi,We are looking to use the eurail site for the first time to book a journey from London to Spain. No issues up to a point with making the plan, but we want to visit Oviedo in northern Spain and then travel from there to Biarritz. The planner doesn’t identify Oviedo as a destination at all.  When I select the nearest city that is an option (Santander) it appears to be impossible to travel from there to Biarritz. I have checked an online rail map for Spain and there is a line from Oviedo that heads in the direction of Biarritz.Is there an way of using the planner to refine the search to include more out of the way destinations and less traveled routes or is the planner only suitable for journeys to major cities?Thanks in advance for any advice at all.  

Hi there!I'm traveling through Spain in August 2022 and would like to make some seat reservations - but it doesn't work on either the DB-, OEBB-, SBB-website (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). How else can I get reservations without being in Spain?Thank you! :)

I made a train reservation for my wife & I from Lourdes to Barcelona.  Two reservations (each) were required for this journey: Toulouse to Narbonne and Narbonne to Barcelona.  I bought these reservations thru Eurail.  When I bought them, I was informed that that the reservation from Narbonne to Barcelona would be MAILED (the other reservation was emailed).  Kind of backwards, I thought, but OK its 6 weeks 'till I fly to Europe (on July 6th), it shouldn't be a problem.  One week later, I get an email saying my ticket has shipped and should arrive ON OR BEFORE JULY 16th, 2022. So it takes 5 weeks for the mail to get from Europe to the U.S.? Hard to believe.  On top of that, I had already paid for the reservation 1 week earlier without knowing this.  So now I've left for Europe without these paper reservations.  Does Eurail or SNCF use computers to keep record of reservations they've sold?  If so, how can I get a copy while in Europe before our train departure?  If the answer is No, w

Good afternoon everyone,I been considering getting a rail pass and visit a few countries for some time now and I was ready to do it and start my trip next week. The thing is that I wasn’t aware that some reservations (according to this website) have to be made like two or three months in advance. Is that so? I was planning to start off in Paris, then go to Colmar, from there to Munich, and then to Berlin and maybe a couple more cities. Is it a crazy idea to get the pass now and start travelling next week or should I leave that for next year and plan it more carefully? I am trying to make seat reservations for my eurail trip, as several of the routes i have plan require seat reservation. The first journey is from Krakow to Budapest. I first tried booking this through the app. Under “seat reservation required” there is a little menu where it says “first class” or “second class”, but nothing happens when i click them. Then i tried going to the eurail webside to book there, but the spesific journey i had picked in the app wasn’t on the website. Instead there were other times and other routes. Also, when refreshing the page, i got different results and availabilities every time. Usually the price of the seat reservation also changed, and some parts of the journey suddenly was unavailable for reservation. I tried going to the train companys website to book there (intercity.pl), but got different times and prices there, and was also not able to choose discounted tickets for eurail ticket holders. Hi, i want to make a reservation for a train from LONDON ST PANCRAS INTL (United Kingdom) L to BRUXELLES-MIDI (Belgium) at 07:04 am on 30/7/2022, and i select the price and add to my cart, but when i click on "continue to traveler details" nothing happens and i can not proceed to payment. I just read that Italy has extended it's covid mask rules: still need to wear a mask until late September. On the forum I also read that this means that sleeper/couchette is for solo use only and that it's cheaper to book last minute in trenitalia than through Interail.  (On OBB no availability for the dates I'm looking at) Question:Current price siracuse-rome 43€ for couchette on Interail (July)..-> are couchettes shared again then? Meaning masks on while asleep? If not, seems like a great deal, 43 for a private couchette. Vs high cost of private sleeper

I’m looking for trains that I found a few weeks ago on the rail planner but that aren’t there anymore. When seraching for a train from Goteborg to Rygge at 14:00 on July 26th I get this : However the Norwegian VY website does show a train in the afternoon: It seems strange that it doesn’t show up on the planner. I think this is because there is some disruption between Goteborg and Oslo (there is a replacement bus service).I’m basically looking for a way to travel from Copenhagen to Oslo on July 26th and the results are not the way they were like a month ago. Could that be a technical issue?Thank you!

Hey!Today I bought a paper pass at my ticket office and I now want to make some train reservations. But I‘m unable to continue as I don‘t have a mobile pass number. The only thing I was able to do is to create a „My Trip“ on the app. Is there a possibility to add my paper pass on the app?Thanks and kind regardsSebastian

Why is it not possible to book a train from Thessaloniki to Kalambaka? In the app there are no connections in July. 

Here’s the thing: InterRail official web and app says that it is possible to book seat reservations in Croatia/Hungary. We also got reply from Interrail that yes, those bookings are possible. But it’s not true at all! It is impossible! And you will find many other people having the same issue - there’s always the same message“Prices unavailable No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board” - and it doesn’t matter what dates you choose!The only option is to book on place… but imagine that it’s high season and you have on other way than book a seat in the same day… Great, isn’t? Man, do I regret purchasing this mobile interrail pass. I need to get from Amsterdam to Dax (region) around 14/15th of July. Quite flexible with times. However this has been a complete nightmare.First off, the availability of the Thalys from AMS - PARIS is almost none - on any time or any day. Interrail is selling way too many tickets and not accounting for the very FEW reservations they can take at Thalys. Next best on alternative routes I am forced to shop three separate tickets, with three separate companies.Turns out, I can only buy a ticket through b-europe if I have a cover pass number. Only available to paper passes and not my digital pass. Since Interrail doesn't have customer support, I now face weeks of backlogged customer support, and probably won’t get a reply to my email until it’s way past July.I did not even touch base about the horrible interface and weird features of the app that supposedly allows me to “plan” everything I need. I am not even able to make reservations

I was able to make seat reservations on the swedish rail service as directed here, but not in the German. Now I need to know the adress of the site in Norway, I did not see it in the list provided in the reply I received. Thanks
