Train connections & reservations

Hello everyone !I bought the pass and reserved my seats via Rail Planner. But I can't access the payment for the extra charge. Could you tell me what is necessary for my reservation to be correct?Thank you very much 

I’ve been trying to reserve seats but the eurail website is not working. When I try to pay, it sends me to the homepage. I tried doing it with italia train but when I put my pass number it doesn’t work. I missed my train because I couldn’t reserve my seat and had to pay full price for the next one. I’m really disappointed. I want a refund. 

Hello! I have made a seat reservation in DB webbpage (www.bahn.com/en). You can book seats via clicking the link “Seat only (no ticket)” on their booking page. But now I’m not sure is this is valid with my Interrail global pass. Anyone knows anything about this? It’s also a cheaper than on the eurail page, so thats makes me unsure.  /Christopher

I’m not able to make seat reservations on the website. it keeps taking me back to the homepage when I click on “Enter Traveler Details”. Are others experiencing this as well?

Hey, I want to book the seat reservations for our trip in august, but the DiscoverEu App is showing a different train timetable then the one on the interrail website. I can't book reservations for trains that are in our original trip because the interrail website shows different trains? Can anybody help us, please? 

Does the Rail Planner App only show me the trains i am allowed to take or all the trains in general? There are some railway companies who don't accept my interrail ticekt so I am wondering if the app does the job for me already and sorts out all the trains i can't take?

Ok.  Let me start by saying that I am completely lost and am not an idiot... really I'm not!  I'm leaving on the 14th to go to Europe... this is a life long dream finally coming true now with my honeymoon!!! I plan on visiting as many places/countries as I can!!  I purchased a global pass. I used rail planner and have successfully saved my trip for me and my soon husband. I have the 5 days saved and show the tickets for those days when clicking on them. But as you can see it states seat reservations required.   (Side question... so what is the purpose of global pass 1st class? You still have to buy tickets "to reserve" on top of that? What's the reason to have pass?? Feels like I've been totally ripped off!!) When i try to make reservations via link, it says i have to create trip.... AGAIN. So... I go to  create the new trip and add traveler and get this:Like I said I'm at a complete loss and so upset... how do I move forward???  PLEASE HELP!!!!

I bought a first class global Europass and want to take the NJ 455 train from Vienna to Berlin. But it seems like the system wants me to buy another ticket at $154 each for the three person sleeper or is that just the reservation fee for a sleeper? When I go to OBB it makes no mention that I’m buying a Reservation and not a new ticket. Where can I get English help with the reservation?

You can book this train up to 90 days in advance. I have a question about the wording of this sentence. Does it mean you can only reservate before the 90 days. Or is it stil possible for me and my girfriend to reservate seats for the trains in the 90 days in adance time window?

We bookes a seat reservation through InterRail.eu from Copenhagen to Hamburg, departing 23.56 on 2022-07-03 and arriving 06.15 2022-07-04. But when we recieved the ticket(printable PDF), the time and dates were wrong. It says that the train will depart 00.01 2022-07-03 and arrive 06.15 2022-07-03, which is the wrong date.  Will we still be able to board this train on the night between sunday(3/7) and monday(4/7)?

Hi, I have some Thalys vouchers I got as compensation when a train I was on was delayed overnight. Can I use them to pay for my Interrail seat reservation on a Thalys train? 

My wife and I have Interrail Global Passes and we’re trying to book a trip from Brussels to Cologne on the 17th September.  On the Intercity trains (ICE) it gives us this message:“Not available for some travellersSome of your travellers' Passes are not valid on this train. Change your selected travellers to book this seat reservation.” We can book seats on the Thalys trains (THA) but that will cost 54 Euro as opposed to 16 Euro on the Intercity.  We were under the impression that our passes would be valid on all intercity trains.  Are we wrong?!

Do I really need to go to the Attica Group Port Agencies to pick up our boarding passes? We thought we could buy them online and show the online ticket + the physical island pass.  And does is mean that we have to book our trips in advance?Or can we spontaneously decide which trips we‘re going to book? thank you for your help in advance! 

Hi, i can see many related topics to this one, so sorry if creating a new one is against the etiquette.We are 5 people with mobile interrail passes trying to book seats on french TGV train, but are unable to do so due to not having a pass cover number. From what i understand others have received pass cover number through the support on this site. We are quite desperate to get these seats reserved and its been quite frustrating trying to figure out how to. Hopefully you are able to help. Cheers, Emil.

If I’m doing some train travel then a river cruise for 2 weeks then more train travel after the cruise can I add the river cruise dates in the online planner? Otherwise it’s showing my Budapest to Amsterdam cruise as train travel. Any advice appreciated. 

Hello, I’m Andrea and I’ve been planning an interrail trip for me and 20 other friends. Everything was going well, until I tried to book a seat reservation for Paris - Barcelona. Impossible. In any way, and no one is helping me by phone, not the SNFC nor Interrail Customer Service. We’ve a ton of stuff booked for Barcelona and it would be really bad if we had to cancel it all.  Please if someone can help me out, any way we can get from Paris to Barcelona on July 24th. 

Dear all,my name is Sebastian and I purchased an Interrail global pass during the recent promotion.Now I am planning my first trip, which will take me (all in one day) all the way from Zurich via Geneva, Lyon and Barcelona to Madrid. This is a long journey and as such, missing one connection will result in having to stay overnight somewhere, as there will be no later connection on the same day.So far so good and since I am not in a rush it doesn’t matter if I arrive in Madrid only a day later. However, of course I would need to stay somewhere for the night if I strand for example in Lyon or Barcelona. I understand that in this case this happens, according to EU passenger’s rights, I will be entitled to compensation and overnight accommodation.However, I didn’t find any information on the procedures on the interrail website and as such, I would like to ask for your experience to clarify my following questions:How is the usual procedure of arranging accommodation should I be stranded dur

Hello! I'd like make reservations for my friends with mobile Pass (InterRail Global Pass) for trains in Italy. I added them to trip in my account, but I can't find Issuer (CIV) and Pass Cover Number on their tickets. Without them I can't make reservations. Where can I find them? Or how can I make reservations with mobile Pass? Moderator note: similar topic  

We are tried to book the inbound trip from Copenhagen and back to Norrköping, on 7 of august.When we add the journey in the interrail app we find a trip at 15:07-15:46 from Copenhagen to Malmö (Train RE1066) and continues with 16:04-19:19 from Malmö C to Norrköping(HST544).The High speed train needs a seat reservation, but when we try to reservate a seat we didn’t fint the same train on the seat reservation website.. Instead we found a trip at 15:07-16:35 from Copenhagen to Hässleholm (RE1066), 16:57-17:53 Hässleholm C- Älmhult (BUS60544), and 18:08 -20:20Älmhult-Norrköping (HST546). It seems like the interrail app and the seat reservation website don’t match, we can’t find either of these trips in the other site. Now we already booked a ticket on the later of the trips (HST546) and we would like to use this as our inbound journey, but we need help to add this trip to our journey in some way.What can we do? 

Hello Community,I purchased a paper pass yesterday and I would like to make seat reservations for some of my train journeys, especially eurostar as I am worried they will sell out but it says I need my pass cover number which it says will be on my ticket that may only arrive on 25th July and I am planning to travel 29th July...Is it possible to find out my pass cover number and make bookings before the paper copy arrives, otherwise can I change it to be a mobile version to avoid the problem? Thanks

I’ve got a mobile global pass and want to travel in Italy from Ancona to Bologna on Friday 8th July. From what I’ve read here, I can reserve seats using the oebb.at website. Will this give me an online ticket ie. can I just show the QR code on my phone for the seat reservation? Or do I need to print the QR code to show a physical paper copy? I’m arriving in Ancona the night before I want to travel. Could I simply go to the station to reserve my seat? Or is there a chance the train will be fully-booked if I leave it that late?  

Has anyone tried to book a reservation 45 minutes before departure at the station?

I want to book the night sleeper train from Prague to spilt or nearest.  can I book this on the interail site. or should I go direct to Regio?
