Train connections & reservations

Bonjour, je suis en Roumanie il m’est impossible de réserver les trains en ligne, et en gare on me dit que l’on ne peut pas me réserver car j’ai un pass online et non papier.Cela ne fonctionne pas pour prendre aussi des trains internationaux vers la Hongrie alors que en Hongrie j’ai réussi à prendre un train international vers la Roumanie.lQue dois- je faire ?    Aussi j’aimerais réserver le Budapest - Craiova du 25 juin départ 15h, on me dit que en ligne c’est impossible, il y a t’il un autre site pour faire la réservation ? merci d’avance  

Hi there!  I am trying to reserve two seats in August from Paris to Barcelona and snotter two from Barcelona to Marseille. Since the paper tickets won’t arrive on time I am not sure how to proceed? I do have a friend in Barcelona. Is it a possibility that she makes the reservation for us at the train station ? I also read about calling for a reservation?  :) 

Hi everybodyI,m on interrail again, first time since the early eighties. This time on 1.class ticket.And now here is my question; - will i get a seat on 1.class on trains where no reservations are needed, without having reserved ?Or do they oversell 1.class tickets?Best wishes GP 

Hello everyone! This summer I am going to take a train between Amsterdam and Berlin. Seats reservations are recommended but not mandatory. Therefore, I wondered what I was supposed to show in case of a control during the journey if I do not book a seat? Do I have to only show my pass? And am I allowed to sit wherever I want?Thank you very much for your answers !

Hello when I try to buy our tickets from Barcelona to Paris, it says I can't buy etickets, and they will send it to a postal address? How can I fix this?

I’m from Argentina. I’m traveling to Europe from July 11th to August 5th and I’m struggling with seat reservations. My itinerary:From Madrid (12-13-14-15 of July) —> To Barcelona.From Barcelona (16-17-18-19 of July) —> To Paris.From Paris (20-21-22-23-24 of July) —> To London. From London (25-26-27-28 of July) —> To Amsterdam.From Amsterdam (29-30-31-1-2-3-4) —> To Madrid.We are traveling by train to each city and I can’t book reservations online. The page keeps telling me that I need to make seat reservations physically at each train station, but I’m worried that, once there, I won’t be able to get any because there won’t be any more seats available. How can I get sure that I’m going to have a seat? Is there an alternative option to make a reservation besides going to the train station presently? I’ll wait for your answer. Thanks,Sofía.

Wir wollen von Deutschland nach Frankreich und wieder zurück fahren, vier Reisetage in einem Monat.Problem 1: Unser erster Reisetag soll am 28.07.2022 sein, so steht es auch für alle fünf Familienmitglieder im Mobilpass. Nun sagt das System aber, wir hätten nur noch drei von vier Reisetage übrig, obwohl wir noch gar nicht gestartet sind.Problem 2: Ich möchte - wie von interrail.eu empfohlen - über diese interrail-Webseite Sitzplatzreservierungen im TGV buchen. Aber es tauchen immer wieder Fehlermeldungen wie “your pass is invalid for this date” auf, dann bekomme ich nur die Möglichkeit nur für drei statt fünf Personen zu reservieren (und das bei wirklich allen Strecken, da können ja nicht überall nur noch drei Sitzplätze übrig sein) und schließlich heißt es, die Preise seien gerade nicht verfügbar, ich solle es später noch einmal versuchen. Hi everyone,I am wondering if all train travel needs to be geographically connected in a travel day? I am going to travel from a rural-ish German train station to a small town in the UK and will do the Brussels-London leg by a bus service because I did not get a Eurostar reservation. Will eurail count this as two trips given that I will pop up in a completely different location to continue my trip, despite it being the same travel day? Also is there a way to make this one trip in the Railplanner app? I am a mobile pass holder. Thanks for any pointers!

Hello,We've been trying to get some seat reservations on the following trains on the 15th of July : Paris Est 15:55 -> Muenchen HBF 21:36 (TGV 9577) Muenchen HBF 22:18 -> Zagreb Glavni Kol. 08:32 (EN 50463)But it doesn't seem to work on the eurail site, reservations are always impossible, with various messages each time.What could be the cause ? Already full ?And I don't get how to buy only reservations on third party sites. How do we get out of this ?Thanks in advance Arthur

Hey,me and a friend of mine are going on an Interrail trip in a few days/weeks, and are now booking seat reservations for all the trains where this is required. We are planning on travelling from Montpellier in France to Barcelona in Spain, and then from Barcelona to Narbonne in France.For every other train, it was possible to book reservations beforehand either on the Interrail website itself or on the website of the local train station. However, even after trying repeatedly, that does not work. It only shows the following message:“Prices unavailable. No price results were found for this connection. It is possible thta all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check ‘More information’ and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Now here is my question: How do I book these two reservations? Do I need to call the train company over the phone

I’m planning my trip to Europe this summer (August).My travel plan goes like this:Paris > Gent (04/08/2022) Gent > Amsterdam (06/08/2022) Amsterdam > Dusseldorf (10/08/2022) Dusseldorf > Luxembourg (11/08/2022) Luxembourg > Strasbourg (12/08/2022) Strasbourg > Milano (14/08/2022) Milano > Florence (15/08/2022) Florence > Ancona (18/08/2022)In the Rail Planner app I see options for my routes where there is no reservation needed… Should I trust that? My main concern is the train from Strasbourg to Milano, it’s the biggest route… 

Hello, I’m totaly frustrated. I booked an Interrail Ticket thinking of traveling from Koeln to Dax on the 9th of July. I serched for all the trains and found them. After I bought the ticket I got to know that there are no seats left on the train from Paris to Dax on the 9th. No matter which time. Now I serched for hours and hours how to get to Dax. I’m so frustrated because there is no help anywhere and no answer on my mail to Interrail. Did I pay 250€ for nothing and can’t get to France on top? Is there someone with an idea what to do?Thanks!

Hello,we would like to drive from Paris to Barcelona on the 3th august 2022 but we cant make a seat reservation. It said that it would not arrive on time.What can we do? 

I’ve got an Interrail Global Mobile Pass. I want to travel from Ljubljana to Zagreb at 8.30am. The Interrail app tells me a seat reservation is required. However, when I tried to reserve a seat at Ljubljana station today, the lady told me seat reservations are not required for that journey. I asked if I could reserve a seat anyway, and she said that’s not possible as they don’t do any seat reservations on that train. Will I still be able to connect that journey using the app? Is it possible the information on the app is wrong or out -of-date?

Hi!  Has anyone have problems with the reservations at the moment? I’m planning a trip for next month (Amsterdam (Start) - Berlin - Prague - Vienna - Munich - Paris - Antwerpen - Amsterdam (finish)). I also have problem with the website, its very slow and sometimes it stuck on every page… Its kinda frustrating I can’t book. Any tips? Is it necessary to book a reservation or not?  Hopefully someone can help this girl out! 😀

Hi i have a problem with booking the train from berlin to amsterdam. the problem isn’t with one train, i tried booking multiple trains and the site goes in error.can you please give me any advice?

A month ago, I bought 2nd class reservations on Italian trains through interrail site and I received 1st class reservations that i cannot use.I emailed support back then and added a message to a pre-existing thread on the same problem.  Since then I created a new topic on the problem and emailed support twice. I can see the issue in the knowledge base still open.My issue has progressed from a problem to be fixed, to an urgent request, and then to a request for a refund.After 1 month i have not had any reply from the interrail team.  what else can i do?   

Hello everyone ! I'm travelling to Switzerland this summer and wanted to make the route from Zermatt to Chur from the regular train. My final destination is technically Zurich but I want to do the exact same route has the express glacier. I'm not sure if the app gives me the exact same route or it gives me the fastest route. Can someone help me figure out wich trains to which destination to be able to reproduce the express glacier route from zermatt . Thank you in advance!!!!  Josie xx 

Hi there, My friend and I have reserved a seat for Paris to Barcelona for the 10th of July, but our paper reservations have not yet arrived. We are concerned they won’t arrived before 30th of June when we leave.  In this case, could you help us understand our best options? We are wondering if it is possible to have them printed at the station since we have already purchased them, or, if we can get them scanned by someone in Australia once they arrive and we print them in Paris while there. It’s a tricky situation - thank you for your help in advance! Dave

Hi community,First time travelling to Europe! I have the 7 day EU rail global pass and was trying to book tickets from London to Brussels for July 2 and Amsterdam to London for July 12. However, I am seeing “Price unavailable - No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out…” for both dates.What are my alternatives? I’m hoping to not pay such a high price for separate Eurostar tickets while I have the EU global pass.. desperate for some help and advice. Thank you in advance!Gary

Hello,can I make the seat reservation before I activating the pass? And how I can do this?

I am the person who purchased a Flexi Pass that can be used for 15 days within 2 months. I'm going to head to Oslo S station in Norway from Stockholm, Sweden on the 8.4th, and when I go from Ryge station to Oslo S station, it says replacement bus instead of train. Do I use the bus at this time? If so, do I have to pay a separate fee? Or do I just have to show the mobile pass qr code?
