Train connections & reservations

I am travelling to Krakow from Prague and the first train was delayed meaning I will miss my connecting train. This second train I have a bed reservation as it’s a night train. What should I do? Can I get the train after? Do I have to pay for a new reservation and will I get my money back?

Does anyone know if the French TGV E10 ‘cheap’ reservations automatically put you into the lower deck, keeping the upper deck (and nice views 🙂 ) for full-fare passengers (and maybe E20 Interrail reservations) ? Is there any way to specify which seats you want? Or can you just cancel a reservation before paying, and try again and see if it gives you an upper deck seat? Thanks!

Hello everybody!First Interail coming up!I have the railwayplanner app and im booking routes as if there were no tomorrow.(Goteborg-Copenhagen-Hamburg-Zürich) 23/7 and 24-7 indicated that there is ”seat reservation required”?Is the QR code ”good enough”as a ticket?asking because i feel like im missing something…some legs i have seen ”seat reservations” so ig there not any= good to go?

I have a question about the mobile pass. Let’s say I want to go from Regensburg to Hannover. If I look up that journey in the app, I find a route that goes via Nuernberg, but has a short transfer time. Is it also possible that I do some sightseeing in Nuernberg for a few hours and take a train to Hannover a few hours later? Or do I have to stick to the specific times of the journey that I added to my pass?Thanks!

Il se peut que les places destinées aux détenteurs du Pass soient épuisées. Recherchez une autre liaison ou consultez « Plus d'informations » afin de découvrir les autres options de réservation. Si les places destinées aux détenteurs du Pass sont épuisées, vous devrez acheter un billet plein tarif pour effectuer ce trajet.”Les pays concernés sont Croatie, Pologne, Prague, Hongrie, Autriche Que dois-je faire dans cette situation. N’ayant pas énormément de temps pour à la gare sur place y a t il une autre alternative pour pouvoir réserver mes sièges ? et je ne souhaite pas choisir d’autres créneaux où les sièges est inclus car cela ne me convient pas.  Je

I am intending to make a reservation to travel on 1 July 2022, but the search button brings me to the 30 June schedule. When i select the 30 June train, it will be shown as 1 July train in my cart, which is correct. But the train is listed under 30th?! (There are no timezone differences, am travelling from Rome - Venice)Selected 1 July but have to selected 30 June train for it to be reflected as 1 July train Meanwhile, if i choose the train listed under 1 July, it will be shown as 2 July in my cart (blue circle). Which day should i choose? Besides, for my returning trip, I chose a train listed under 2 July and it correctly showed as 2 July in my cart. Is there a glitch with the website? please help, thank you all in advanced!  

I want to travel to the north of zweden with friends in august. They already booked yesterday. I tried to book today but the train they are taking is already fully booked. Is there a way around that? Is it possible that seats get available again if people cancel for example? Please help me, I I am really worried that I won't be able to go with them. Thanks in advance. 

Hi, Interrail newby here. I’m trying to reserve a ticket from Paris to Barcelona (28 July 15.12 - 21.54) and one from Barcelona to Valence (France- 11 August 08.15 - 12.43), there’re spaces for both legs, but unfortunately I’m too late to book them because they need to be sent via post, is there a way to book them online/telephone?  Thanks!

How do we buy a tgv reservation online with no need for a ticket? 

Hi! Tomorrow I’m starting my first Interrail trip! I have a few seat reservations that I have booked through the Interrail website a while back. But I have since exchanged my global pass for a new one.I noticed that on my ticket between Zürich and Como S. Giovanni my old pass number (ticket number) is printed. Can this cause problems with using that reservation? And are my other 3 reservation probably also connected to my previous pass number?I also noticed that my last name has been spelled wrong by one letter on two of my reservations. Have any of you experienced the conductors to be nitpicky about this?Kind regards,Herman

Hello,I am trying to book train tickets online and due to the apostrophe in my name it will not allow me. The apostrophe was fine on the mobile app, but when I go online to do seat reservations it says “special characters not allowed”.I have tried deleting the apostrophe from my name and using a space, but since my pass is linked to the name with the apostrophe it is unable to be found. In other post the only solution was that the Eurail team changes the name on my account to one without an apostrophe so please can you interact with my post so they are able to see this and fix my account as soon as possible.Best,Ryan

I have placed this order weeks ago and when I realized the problem, that I was missing legs of my trip to from Como to Zermatt and Zermatt to Paris, I notified them immediately via email. That was a month ago. I still have not heard anything and I travel in two days. I have requested a reset of my password because it says I have an account but I do not and I have not received a reset password email so I can set a new password so I can’t log in to view my reservations.  Can someone please help me with this? I don’t want to have to buy these tickets out of my own pocket when I have already paid for the pass!

Hi All,We have booked a very last minute Europe trip and I now see that I left it way too late for the Eurail passes and now I’m stressing!I paid for 2x global pass for 4 travel days. I’ve managed to get seats for a few of our legs, but there are 2 that have no seats available and I don’t know what to do. On the 14th of July we need to leave Paris and arrive in Amsterdam on the same dayOn the 16th of July we need to leave Amsterdam and go to London(Ideally the earliest train possible for both) When looking at reservations I just pressed the top result for the area as I’m not familiar with the many stations - could anyone suggest any stations that I might have some luck with? If we have to go further out to make it work then so be it!Thankyou :)

Hi, I’m new to the community! I’m planning to purchase a 15 day straight interrail pass. Should I buy the pass before I start making train reservations?

Après les avoir mis dans le panier, il est indiqué que j'ai des e-billets selon les trajets et des billets papiers sur les autres.Un message d'erreur m'indique :"Votre commande comporte un ou plusieurs billets papier. Selon nos calculs, votre commande n’arriverait pas à temps. Veuillez faire envoyer vos réservations à une autre adresse ou à votre hôtel en Europe. Vous pouvez également réserver directement dans une gare européenne."​Puis-je faire la réservation sur une borne à la SNCF ou plutôt à un guichet de la SNCF en France ? Car une fois sur place, il est possible qu'il n'y ait plus de place.Merci pour vos solutions.

If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”We also went to a side “https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv”, but when we tried booking and entering our pass number, which was an option, it said“You have entered an invalid passholder number”. Hi! My friend and I was planning to travel from Gothenburg C to Wien at 8.40 am tomorrow, we've already made a reservation for the connection between Hamburg and Wien which was compulsory at the time. Now we see that we also have to make a reservation between our connection from Copenhagen to Hamburg which WASN'T a the time time we made our first reservation and now that connection is fully booked. Do you have any possible solutions so that we don't miss our connecting train to Wien? Best regards

Hello there.Maybe a silly question but with a pass, do I still need to book tickets with the reservation system? Or is it only when booking a seat is required?  Normally, if a trip is showed on my online pass without seats to be booked, I can take the train, right?Thank you for your confirmation.Best,Quentin

Hey guys!In July I want to travel from East Germany to London with the global pass.I just wanted to reserve a seat in the Eurostar and in the process stumbled upon the travel conditions, which are: “"Traveler must be in possession of a valid Interrail Global Pass or Eurail Global Pass, which covers at least the country of departure and arrival. The fare is valid for a traveler in possession of an Interrail Global Pass or Eurail Global Pass, if part of the Eurostar journey takes place in the traveler's country of residence. Only holders of a 1st class pass are allowed to travel in 1st class Standard Premier.". Does the highlighted part mean, that I am not allowed to use the Eurostar with my ticket, because I’m from Germany? I really don’t get it, because for me that makes no sense AT ALL. There is no Eurostar journey which takes place in germany, so I don’t have another option, I need to take this one from Belgium. I am sooooo confused :D Thankful for any help! (For reference: I start m

Hi, I haven't buy my euro pass yet, just want to ask for the July 22nd LONDON-AMSTERDAM, I check Rail Planner APP they will show $35 or $50,  Does that mean for that day every train have availability to reserve the seat? or it doesn’t mean anything?I check https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#TravelWish they show up no train is available to reserve the seats for July 22nd, only 24th. so I got confusing which one is true?I tried to search https://www.b-europe.com but can’t find Cologne/Berlin…..should I try another website?Which website I should use to check reservation availability before buy the pass?Thank you!
