Hi, I’m from England. I’m trying to book seat reservations for Paris to Barcelona (29th June) and Barcelona to Marseille (1st July). When I try and make the seat reservations it says the postal tickets won’t come in time (even when I put the address as a hostel in France and these trains are over 10 days away). Is there a way to make seat reservations online? Will there still be seat reservations available if I go into a train station in France on the 28th June?
I’m planning to go to France this summer with the One Country Pass and I’ve some question related to it. Is it possible to change the travel date/time after I’ve booked my seat via Interrail (before the travel date/time of course) ? If the answer is “Yes” to the previous question: Do I have to pay anything extra?
Hi everyone,I am currently planning a trip to Sweden and I am thinking about taking the night train from Hamburg to Malmö at 23:59 on a Friday. Do I need to spend one travel day for this one minute until midnight? The website says that journeys between 12am and 23:59 are considered travel days so I am not sure about my situation. I will continue with a different train in Malmö, so the Saturday will be a travel day anyways. In case, I’d have to use the Friday as a travel day, can I also just already take an IC/ICE within Germnany to get to Hamburg even though I am not leaving the country on Friday but on the night train sometime Saturday morning (I am from Germany so this is about the home country rule)? Thanks a lot!!
In September my wife and I are taking an Interrail trip from the UK to Italy via Paris. I’ve managed to make seat reservations for all the various legs of the journey except the trip from Firenze SMN to Milano Centrale on Wednesday 21st September. The journey should only take a couple of hours but the ones listed for that date are all over 5 hours long with 2 or 3 changes? If I look for Saturday 17th it’s all OK (1h 55m) but if I click over to the following day (and beyond) it’s showing 5 and 6 hour journey times? Can I expect that these times will change nearer the date and how near to that date will I have to wait?
Hello everybodyIf I spontaneously decide to take a train that mandatorily requires a reservation, is it possible to hop on the train and to book a reservation on board? Thanks for your answers!
Hello.I,m confused about using this Interrail pass I bought this pass on 10 May . I have 11 months to activate it. I wish to start travel on 17 August 2022.Valid for 2 months from activation date. I live near Manchester. UK. I plan to take a train to London and take Eurostar to Brussels. Should I book the Eurostar now before activating the pass? If so how can I can discounters rate offered to Interrail pass holders? Once in Brussels i want to go to Ghent, Bruges and possibly Antwerp. To go to these cities which trains would be best by using the interrail pass? Then I want to go to Paris. What is best train for this? Your help will be much appreciated Thank you in advance
Hello! I am trying to book a Eurostar train and trains in France with sncb. The website does not let me book without a pass cover number. I have a mobile pass so I don’t have one. Can anyone please help me? The rail planner says I should go to a station and book but how can I do that if I am not in France/UK.
When will the train schedule be placed on the website for milan to florence for mid September 2022 and later?
Hi! I wonder if anyone can help me…My niece is in the US, and has a Eurail pass. She has been able to plan her trip, however, for Spain, it isn’t allowing her to reserve anything online: it has to be in person, in Spain. She is worried about waiting until she is here herself to do so in case there are no seats left for the day she wishes to travel (Madrid to Malaga). So, my question is, since I am in Spain, and I CAN go to a Renfe station… is it possible for me to make the reservation for her? Or for it to be “linked” to her eurail pass does she have to be the one to do it? Thanks!!
Hi all,So I’m using my Eurail pass to travel from London to Amsterdam on the Eurostar on June 21. I already reserved my seats through the Eurail site and received my e-tickets a couple of weeks ago. I just got word, from Eurostar, however, that the train leaving at 11:04 will no longer be stopping at Amsterdam but instead at Brussels. The email also said that we can still use our Eurostar ticket to go catch an Intercity train from Brussels to Amsterdam. My question is, can we go ahead and move forward with the suggestion made by Eurostar and just take the train from London to Amsterdam and then hop on board IC to Amsterdam? Or do we have to have to reserve another ticket for both of these trips? Lastly, how would we fill out our Travel diary in this situation? If anyone is in a similar situation, please let me know how you have figured it out as most of the Eurostar phone lines are closed this weekend. Thanks!
hello there i am trying to do the seat reservation for me and my wife but i am not able to add her as 2nd traveller i bought 2 passes at different times with same account under same email but when i am trying to book seat reservation it doesnt allow me to or showing that i can book for 2 travellers together any suggestion how can i book us together i my account i can see both of our passes but not able book us together i tried deleting her pass from account and add her as a traveller but its not letting me do that either
Hello,I bought a mobile pass and booked my seat reservation on the web site (eticket). I can't add my journey on my mobile pass. Is that ok if I show both my printed ticket and my mobile pass to the controller?
Hi all, I’m supposed to travel from Paris to Lyon tomorrow and I am unable to book my reservation because I have a mobile pass, and therefore no pass cover number. Can anyone help with this? I’ve written to customer service and gotten no response. Thank you!
When I try to make this booking (Paris-Barcelona) the system refuses to complete my booking, because based on calculation my ticket (on paper) will not arrive in time. Last time I did this, it took a week, now I have 4 weeks untill departure. The system advices me to change the delivery address to one in Europe. My address IS in Europe! This is the only date/time/train available, so I really need this seat! Of course it is Saterday night.Anyone with a good idea? I would be so grateful!
I understand that in the stations of Milan Centrale, Roma Termini, (Napoli Centrale) there are gates to access the platform. You should be able to pass this entrance by scanning the barcode of your pass.Does anyone have experience with passing these gates by scanning his/her barcode with a mobile Interrail pass? In Roma Termini we take the 06u25 train, where we have never been before. So I don't know if there will be staff at the gates so early, to help us if necessary? Can anyone confirm this? I'm assuming it won't be a problem if you have the interrail passes on 1 phone, to get through the gates ?The holder of the mobile phone with the passes first lets people through without the pass on their phone, and is the last to go through the gates? Additional information :When purchasing the mandatory seat reservations via NMBS, for 2 travelers, I also received a PDF document that was printed with the name of both travelers on it. There is a barcode on the document.I suspect that we will only
I am trying to book my first trip. I want to travel from Graz to Utrecht, leaving Graz Thursday July 14 evening or Friday 15. It is not possible to make a reservation for the NightYet any more, neither for the 17:26 train. No reservation should be required for the 14.26 train, but for the 17:22 train from Wien Miedling to Frankfurt it says It is possible that all pass hlder seats are sold out. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a seperate full fare ticket to board. Can I board, is this not allowed or do I only (?) risk not to fid a seat?
Hi! I was booking a trip from Madrid to Paris and it says the following sentence: “Your order contains one or more paper tickets. Based on our calculations, your order will not arrive on time. Please send your reservations to another address, such as your hotel in Europe, or try booking at a European train station.” What I’m supposed to do? Is our first train and we can’t book it
Hello everyone, I'm going to Interrail this summer towards Romania and Turkey. Now I cannot make reservations for (night) trains in that area online. Does anyone know if this trains sell out quite fast or are there enough tickets available so that I can do that upon arrival in Bucuresti (3 days in advance) or is it worth booking reservations via a travel agency? Also, does anyone happen to know what delays I should take into account between Bucuresti and Budapest? I have now planned a transfer of about 50 minutes in Budapest from night train (D78) to Railjet (RJ66), with which I travel to Rosenheim to end up in the Innsbruck part of the NJ to The Netherlands. Is that feasible or is more extensive planning necessary? Thanks in advance!
Hi, my son and friend are traveling with Eurail for the fist time. You have to reserve seats on the train from Gothenburg to Stockholm. How the hell do we get those seats next to each other reserved?????They both both a pass and installed the app. Can someone pleas help us? Greetings Natascha
I’ll explain myself. We need to make a reservation for a train from Berlin to Krakow the 21st of july. The reservation was someway locked by the interrail booking system until yesterday afternoon and I tried booking. Then, I realized that they are paper tickets which are meant to be sent home, but the platform says it cannot be sent on time to Spain (we part on 11th of july). Trying different countries, in order to try sending them to any hostel adress during our travel I also realize it neither can be sent to France, Netherlands or Germany, but trying some different countries Antartica looks a cool destination for the booking system. I can’t believe it is easier to send anything on time to Antartica than to Spain or any other country I mentioned. Looks like a bad joke. Of course the platform suggests to make the reservation in an European main train station and I suppose in our case the only possibility is to wait until we get to Berlin to do it. This means some risk to lose the trai
Hi,We have been successfully travelling the Rail network of mainland Europe for a few weeks now and largely very smoothly indeed. However, we need to now book a seat reservation from Girona to Lyon and the only option we can get on any website is for them to be posted to our home address. This is no use as we are in northern Italy and live in Manchester! Has anyone come across this before or have any ideas as to how we can get around this problem. Thanks in advance.
Hi All, I am due to interrail in Mid July and am looking to start reserving seats, but am unsure how to reserve so the seats come up on the app. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks,Billy
Are there others who have trouble booking seat reservations for your Interrail trip during the summer holidays? I will travel in mid-July. I have never had any problems booking seat reservations with Interrail in the past, which I have tried several times. The Website and the App just stand and search without any result. I have problems both in the Railplanner App and on the website www.interrail.eu I am trying to book seat reservations between Bologna and Munich /day time. My itenary is Copenhagen- Basel-Zurich-Chur-Tirano-Montorosso-Bologna-Munchen-Salzburg-Copenhagen. However, it only says in the App that it is Bologna-Munich that requires a seat reservation. But is it not also a good idea to book a seat reservation on the Copenhagen-Basel and Salzburg-Copenhagen routes? I am eager to receive some good advice.
Hi everyone! I am trying to book tickets from Bruxelles midi to Lyon Part Dieu on the TGV (17-7-22 and 23-7-22) but the interrail site says that either all placed are booked by card holders or that the prices are temporarily unavailable.
