Train connections & reservations

I want to go from Brussels to Luxembourg. Unfortunately, I cannot find Luxembourg in the Rail-Planner-App.Original:Ich möchte von Brüssel nach Luxemburg fahren. Leider kann ich in der Rail-Planner-App Luxembourg nicht finden.

We are traveling with three children next month, two of them have their own interrail global pass, but our 3 year old is too young for his own pass.  But he's a little too heavy to be sitting on my lap for hours, so I wanted to include him in our seat reservation (ICE, Germany to France). I was told that wouldn't be possible unless I purchased a seperate ticket for him, at full price. I can't believe there's no way around this, or surely Interrail would have an option to add a toddler pass or something like that? Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi my seat reservation payment didn't went through and now I can't book my seats anymore, because they are now full, for thalys and nightjet, what I need to do now?

Hey!I have an first class Interrail ticket and unfortunately I was not able to reserve my own sleeper compartment on the Interrail website for the night trains from Stockholn to Lulea (NT 92) and from Narvik to Arlanda C (NT 93), but "only " a ticket in a 6-person sleeper car. Can I exchange the reservations?

Is there a way to book 4 people in a sleeper together from Venice to Saltzburger? I thought I saw this but now I don’t see this option.  Any guidance and tips would be appreciated as I have never done this before.

Hello! I’m planning my trip from Athens to the meteores (kalambaka) and I tried to book my train ticket via the app, it couldn’t find any train so I tried on the eurail website (it could find the train this time) but this time it said «  no available from interail.eu »So what I am supposed to do to make a reservation ? (I even tried on trainose, the train official website but I don’t have the interail discount)  thanks for your help!

Hi, I am trying to book the Eurostar but as I have mobile ticket I can’t seem to book without the long ticket number….. I’m trying to book from London to Amsterdam. 

Please help! I am trying to book seat reservations with my eurail pass for a one way train ride from Paris Gare de Lyon to Nice Ville on June 28. The website says there are available seats for a 11:52 departure and a 18:37 arrival, with one change between the two trains.This works out until the final “review order” stage where it tells me “one of the legs of your journey could not be booked”. It does don’t tell me which one and the same error occurs when i try later times.What does this mean? Why would they allow me to go through with the seat reservation if one of the legs cant be booked? What can i do about this?

Hello, I have already purchased the pass for the month of August and I can not book the Rome to Munich route, because I can not add to my shopping cart the train trip for August 17, the system tells me that it is an invalid purchase, I have insisted several days and tells me the same error. What can I do about it? 

My girlfriend and I are both students studying abroad to france this summer, specifically from June 22nd to July 23rd. We will be staying in Marseille, France for the majority of our time abroad however we have time available over the weekends to travel wherever we’d like. In an attempt to be organized we purchased Eurail passes so that we could book/reserve our trains ahead of time without any stress or potential mishaps at the stations. (No one wants to miss a pre-scheduled tour of the Eiffel tower.) We plan to travel to Paris, Luxembourg, and Rome each subsequent weekend that we have available. The issue, however, is that we have been attempting to book these trains for awhile now and have absolutely no clue whether some of them are reserved or not. Most, if not all, of the trains on the app state that we need seat reservations, but some of our trips will not allow us to purchase the reservations. Hi, what a nightmare trying to navigate with seat reservations...thought travelling by train through Europe was suppose to be easy!! So far have had to pay for seat reservations for each journey and now trying to book Eurostar to London and through a different website it will cost 90 euros with the Europass. TBH at the point of wanting to cancel the lot. Seems everyone is having the same problem with seat reservations. Sorry for the moan just fed up with it now.

Hello,I want to book the reservations for the seats, where it is required. But in Spain and partly in France I cant reservate the seats and it saysmthat I have to book them at the train station. The chance that the seats aren’t available anymore when I get to the train staions are pretty big. Especially because we are a group of 8.So what shoul/could I do? How can I reservate the seats without being in Barcelona e.g.? The second thing is, that there was a chance to do the reservation from Bordeaux to Boulogne online. When I got to the website it said, that they need the pass cover number (from the paper pass) but I don’t have it, because I booked the mobile pass. What schould I do? Greetings and thanks

Hey there, I have activated my 22 day global interrail pass, and have been trying to book some reservations on trains throughout our trip from July 21-August 11. For practically every train that requires a booking, I can’t figure out how to actually book it. It either says prices not available, or otherwise does not appear to let me access a booking page. The main train reservation I want to book is the euronight from Split to Budapest on the 30th July, and I have the same problems when trying to book through the Ceske Drahy site as well. However, I am finding this problem on nearly every other route as well on the eurail site, and wondering if I am missing something? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi fellow travellers, I'm gonna travel by train from La Spezia to Venice, with a short transfer at Pisa Centrale. Is 8 minutes enough time to transfer train?Thank you very much for your answer.

Can I book trains without activating my passes? We don't have our passports yet.

Our global passes are valid 23 June (we just changed the date of our passes tarting 3 July), and we were able to book a first seat reservation on 26 June from Naples to Rome. When I went to book a second reservation for Rome to Venice on 29 June, however, it says “this pass isn't valid on this date.”  Our passes start 23 June now and we were able to book that first reservation. Is it a glitch? We are able to book after 3 July, which makes me think so but can’t get anyone at Eurorail to help - the bot and Messenger can’t help.

Hello, me and my friends are currently booking trains for our route and were worried about short transfer times - we were wondering what the difference is between a ‘short transfer’ and a ‘transfer by foot’ and are these usually safe to do or quite risky?Thank you! 

Hi all, I need the pass cover numbers for two e-tickets that I bought in order to book a Eurostar journey. It seems like I can only book the train I want through B-Europe which require this information. I have tried ringing the SNCF to see if they can help me but they say that they cannot.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I booked 2nd class seat reservations, this is what is on my confirmation email, but on some of the tickets it states a 1st or business class seat. Will this be a problem?

Hey guys, My Train from Leipzig to Mannheim are delayed and because of that, I will miss the following trains to Paris. But I have a seat reservation from Offenburg to Paris. What should i do? Can I use any other train, without a reservation? bescause on the eurail-webside is no train free for a seat reservation.  I look forward that anyone can help me. thank u! 

I am wanting to do some travel in Europe with my family this summer.  There are four of us.  But it hinges on being able to travel from Paris to Barcelona on the 10.10 train on 16 July.I have tried to find out whether it would be possible to book tickets on this train before buying the Interrail pass.  But I can’t work out how to do it.Is there a way of doing this, or could somebody please check for me. Thanks

Has anyone been able to resolve this issue  Names with apostrophe on ticket don’t seem to be able to book seats. Seems ridiculous. Now looking at buying a new ticket without using apostrophe and looking for a refund on the other ticket. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 

I have found a 2nd class empty couchette travelling23/07/22 at 21.41Austerlitz to Nabonne 07.10 that I wish to reserve for my family ( of 5)  but take the whole carriage. When speaking to the very helpful staff a SNCF they have reserved bookings over two fist class carriages as we have 1st class interrail tickets and informaing me it’s not possbile to take the second class as I will incurre a fee/fine on the train. Any advise or insight would be much appreciated.Thank you in advance
