Train connections & reservations

Hello everyone,I would like to get the Eurostar ticket with my friend from London to Amsterdam using the mobile Eurail Pass, but the direct train ticket sold out on Eurail websiteI tried to call SNCF hotline, but their staff said I can only make a seat reservation onlineand I tried using b-europe, but it requires a pass cover number, thus I cannot make a seat reservationBeside making an enquiry on Eurail website asking for the pass cover number, is there anything that I can do? I am afraid of the ticket solding out… and I really want to try on the Eurostar :( Thanks everyone

Hej all,Me and my boyfriend we are going on a interrrail route in July.We can´t book any seat reservation for the night train Paris to Perpignan on the 8 of July (departure at 21h14 and arrival at 8h31). In the system says that the prices are unvaiable for this route to try again in a couple of hours but we been trying for some days already :/ We already try to buy online at SCNF but we couldn´t.We have the same issue regarding then Perpignan to Madrid in the high speed train.Can someone help us out please?Thank you in advance :)

Hi interrail! I would like to book seat reservations for 4 trains on my way back to the Netherlands. The planner app is not very helpful.. are all these trains fully booked for Interrailpass holders? Hello Interrail community,I am a bit confused on how to manage reservations for a Nantes-Copenhagen trip on the 08-09 July.The trip relies on a Offenburg (00:41) - Duisburg (06:40) section that is referenced as both a nightjet (NJ) or intercity train (IC).From https://tickets.oebb.at/, it seems the NJ is not available for 4 persons anymore : If I search for the whole trip on the planner (Nantes>Copenhagen), it indicates the Offenburg-Duisburg section requires reservation. (I think it considers the NJ reference, that is considered a night train that requires reservation)If I only search for the Offenburg-Duisburg section, the planner indicates no reservation is needed (it seem it considers the IC reference, that does not require a reservation) My question is then rather simple : is a reservation needed on the Offenburg-Duisburg night IC train ?If I choose not to book a reservation, do I have to enter manually the Offenburg-Duisburg section on my mobile Pass ? Hi everyone So I’ve paid for my eurail pass (global pass, mobile) created a trip and assigned travel day and tickets from city to city in Italy. Now it’s time to do the seat reservation and I’m having issues.It won’t let me reserve a seat, all I get is this screen: I don’t know if that means there are no seats left, it’s too early to reserve etc. I have tried all my different journeys (Venice- Rome etc etc) and all the times and I get the same response.if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!thank you  

Hi everyone, I want to travel from Lyon to Girona on June the 6th. I already read throught the FAQ and see I’m not the only one having trouble making a reservation for a train that crosses the border.  I tried to make a reservation with the interrail-planner. It seemed possible at first, but at the checkout it said there was not enough time left to sent the paper tickets, although it is still 9 days in advance. I already booked my first train from Ostend (Belgium) to Lyon that day so it would be nice to be able to travel on. At an nmbs station I cannot make the reservation because apparently it’s not possible for them anymore to sell tickets that are crossing the Spanish border.I can try to purchase the tickets on the day itself, but that seems a bit tricky and exhausting to me as I only have half an hour to transbord…I saw some things about the DB and making reservations on the phone, but I don’t have a credit card. Does anyone have suggestions what to do next?I did look up the region

Why are payments for seat reservations charged inUS $ when I live in the UK?

 I purchased the Mobile Eurail Global Pass. I will travel from Hallstatt to Varenna departure at 8:20 arrive 20:24  on June 14. according to Eurail planner i need a seat reservation for the Innsbruck and the Verona departures of the trip. according to DB and the Thomas Cook rail schedule - no reservations are needed. i have traveled Eurail for over 25 years it seems more and more trains require reservations. I have always purchased the paper Eurail pass and relied on the Thomas Cook rail book and the DB site. Can anyone answer this reservation question which site is correct? thanks  David

Hi.My sister and I are planning on travelling by rail on our upcoming trip to Europe from Pakistan.We can't book reservations for Rome Termini to Florence SMN (7 June) as the prices aren't available.Also, we got the reservations for Barcelona-Paris (12 June), Paris-Amsterdam (14 June) and Amsterdam-Berlin (17 June) but I'm seeing a shipping method message about the paper tickets not being able to reach in time so when I give the details for my Spanish hotel in Barcslona (8-12 June) it isn't allowing me to proceed to Traveller details.Is there any solution? How much time does it take to dispatch the tickets as we're in Rome (4-7 June) and Florence (7-8 June) so I hope giving the Barcelona hotel address is sufficient.Will it be OK to arrive in Barcelona (8 June) and then book the reservation from the station? Regards,Zain

I need to buy a seat reservation from St Pierre de Corps from Champagne-Aderne. I bought the ticket using mobile option and when I try to buy in the website it requested me a Cover Pass Number but I don’t have this information. How can I proceed?

Hello!I’ll be interrailing with a friend this summer and she bought our interrail passes together through her account. Today we did our first seat reservation through her account too. It is normal for seat reservations not to appear in my interrail account, in reservations overview, even though they appear on hers? And since we've done everything through my friend's account, will I be able to activate the pass on my phone and have access to all the reservations?Thank you 

I am so confused on how to use the trains in Europe. We are going to small towns across Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Someone said to get a Eurail pass, but on their website it doesn’t show most of the towns I want to go to on the drop-down menu. Do I skip the Eurail pass and book each train ride individually before I leave the US (like from the DB website, etc.), or do I blindly purchase a Eurail pass and just hop on the trains over there without reserving? Totally lost right now 😦

Hello everyone! It is my first time using the Eurail Global Pass, and I thought that I could book a train from Paris to Barcelona online as I saw it was available. It wasn’t until I activated my pass and tried to book to discover that it is paper pass only, which was not indicated anywhere on the Booking Reservations part of the site. I have read from some other topics that it is basically impossible to get a ticket from Barcelona to Paris the day before for pass holders (I am flying in to Paris on Sunday, May 15), and I am incredibly worried that I will not be able to get there by train. Would anyone be able to provide some advice on the best alternatives to get to Barcelona from Paris in what seems to be an extremely likely event that I will not be able to secure a seat on the high speed train? Thank you very much for your help! 

I have already entered all the stations on my trip but realized that I chose the wrong station in Reims France. I want to leave from a different station in Reims abut cannot figure out how to do this. Can anyone offer a solution? Thank you

Hi, i’ve never travelled in train before but i won an interrail pass.I wanted to book a ticket for the night train between Prague Hlvani and Krakow Glowny on wednesday 20th of July at 22:05 but it says “prices are temporarily unavailable”. And when i look at ÖBB website, it also says “ticket not available”. Finaly i looked on DB website and it told me “We are sorry, but we cannot sell your requested journey online”. Maybe the train is full, i just have no idea how this works.Thank you for your answers.

Hi, I hope someone can help me whit this little doubt. I don't understand what does it mean “from N/A” in front of “seat reservations required” into the app, when you search some of routes.  

My kids have the 2nd class flex pass and need to travel to Amsterdam from Mainz on May 26.  The Eurorail website says reservations are avaialble but not required on the 11:42 train tomorrow from Frankfurt to Amsterdamn.  They tried to get a reserved seat using the app but it said none are available. Does this mean passholders can no longer get on this train without reservations.  Or would they have to take a chance to find seats and if so, how likely is this to work. 

Does anyone know if I can travel everywhere in Turkey as the train stations do not show up in the app plan? 

Hi, I have problem to book seat reservaton in 2 trains. One of them is train going from Warszawa Centralna to Wien Hbf on july 4th and second one is going from Berlin Hbf to Warszawa Centralna on july 15th. In both of the them the reservation is required but inactive. The notification says:‘’Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.’’This notification shows on every available train these days. Is there any solution to this problem or I have to buy full fare ticket?

Hi There,Hi have a couple of questions related to adding passes to a trip and make reservation for 2 people:Can I add two passes on my phone for reservation purposes? Can the second traveler add it to his phone in order to “activate” it at a later stage? Can I make reservation for 2 travelers with my phone indicating second traveler informations and if needed pass number? Will this be reflected on his phone when he connect his pass to our trip? Is it mandatory for the second traveler to make his own account to use the pass?For the time being this is all and I thank in advance people available to answer the above.Kind regards,GigiP.S. Trying to get to Hendaye from paris at the beginning of september but the only train available seems to be the Inoui TGV… and I thought that they wouldn’t accept the eurail pass

I am trying to make a train reservation with my interrail pass from Rotterdam to London. First you have to log in. I did that so you can see the what reservations are availlable from ticket holders. The only day (3 june) we need to make a reservation, says they are all €0 and " prices unavaillable".  I know there's a max. Ammount of interrail holders that can make reservations in an Eurostar train. But ALL other days seem to be just fine. Does this mean theres just a bug or something? Or  are we not able anymore to make reservations for that day?. If so, this means we have to buy +€400 worth on Eurostar ticket for 1 train... That's is more then the Interrail ticket itself we bought.  Does anyone know, if this is the case, if we need to buy those tickets, or is it possible to go without reservations & tickets....? Thanks
