Train connections & reservations

I have purchased a railpass and have a train ticket in my app. I am traveling from Paris to Nice. I have to book a seat online, but when I try to do that, it says one leg of the trip is unavailable, but it doesn’t show which leg it is. I do not understand what I need to do in order to book this train. Please help!

Hi,I’m looking to book reservations for myself and a few others on the train from Celje to Budapest (06:24 on the 17th of July). Unfortunately I cannot seem to find anywhere to book this reservation without paying for an entirely new ticket. MAV want me to buy a new ticket and OBB, DB and SZ have no way of booking anything at all. Does anyone know if there’s a way?

Me and my 3 friends bought a paper pass for our interrail (we are going in one week), and we find it very difficult to buy the seat reservations we need on the eurrail website. For some of them it says that it has to be sent to us in the mail, but it wont be delivered before after our trip.. So does anyone know how we can fix the seat reservations either on a separate train website or on the eurrail website? (I tried booking through the hungarian train site, but i dint find anywhere I could only book seat reservation and not a train ticket as well)

Hello! I have a question about recommended seat reservations. I understand that it is not required, but what happens if I don't book a seat? Is there a chance that I'm not going to be allowed on a train or is it a matter of finding an actual sitting place? Essentially, I'm asking whether not booking a seat creates a risk of missing the train or is it simply a risk of standing instead of sitting?

we are planning a travel between alexandroupolis and thessaloniki. However, we could not find any train on their website and also interrail webpage does not include available train for that route. Is there anyone who have information about that? 

Hi! We have planned to continue from Berlin to Croatia on 23rd/24th/25th July, and I see there is a night train from Munich to Rijeka. It would be a fine alternative to catch this train to the other direction (Rijeka - Munich) on 30th or 31st July. However, it looks like all the trains are fully booked, at least there seem to be absolutely no couchette berths or sleepers available. Do you think they really are sold out, or is it just I don’t know where or how to look? Are all berths on sale already, anyway…? 

I have a global mobile pass, can I get my reservations digitally to my mobile phone, at checkout it tells me that reservations will be mailed by post. 

Hi,I just exchanged my pass for a new pass and had a eurostar reservation for London → Amsterdam as my first train. This ticket still shows up in my account - I just wanted to check this reservation will still be valid with the new pass?Thanks

I have just bought Interrail passes for myself and son.  The first trip I selected on my pass was the outbound trip from UK to Amsterdam.  I now need to reserve seats on Eurostar.  I have no idea how to do this on Interrail site, and just seem to be going in circles.Do I have to reserve seat directly with Eurostar? Or can I reserve from Interrail site?confused, any help appreciated

Hello, considering buying a 50% FLASH SALE: 2 months continuous.I plan to travel in October from Prague to Barcelona, go back to France and stay a month travelling in France and the other month in Italy. And want to answer three questionsHow much additional cost does it take to get to Barcelona if I need not use TGV and want to use the cheapest way possible? I didn‘t succeed with this alternative route in the planner https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/reservations/reservations-france, so could you confirm that this possibility is available? Is it possible to use regional trains in France without reservations. For example, from Toulouse to Montpelier, from Montpelier to Marseille, etc.? And how about travelling in Italy, from Genes to Florence, Rome, Naples, Venice, is there a way to travel without additional costs? And if not, how much it will usually be?

Hi ,we have a pass for five days,we want to cancel one train to change it for another one,so were wondering if we have to cancel all the five days or just the train that we want to change.And also we don't know how to make the reservation of our the seats . Thank you so much for your help.

Hi I’m trying to make my first resv (global pass) from london to amsterdam on june 8 for the 11:04 train but it says “Prices unavailable. No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board. So all the pass holder seats are full?Do I just go ahead and pay extra (31GBP vs 39GBP) on b-europe? or wait and risk it to book it when i’m in london the 31 May?

Hi! I activated my mobile pass in the App and booked a ticket to Paris. Now I wanted to book a seat reservation with the interrail website but it is not working because I can't see my trip details. Did I do something wrong?

I’m getting this train in a few days and was wondering if anyone knows if it needs a reservation? It says on the app it doesn’t and I’m happy to take a longer train that doesn’t require a reservation 

Hello! Me and two friends bought the interrail pass, but today when we were trying to make the seat reservation for the OBB Nightjet NJ236 there were no seats available (June 11th at 10PM). It is still possible to reserve seats for this train? The other alternatives are not direct and the seats are also unavailable

I live in Sweden. Let's say I take a train from Hamburg which departs before midnight and arrives in Stockholm the following day. Can I use my inbound journey to change trains in Stockholm if I put Hamburg to (hometown) in the app?

Hello. I need assistance with our passes. I purchased a mobile version of tickets for myself, husband and kid. I have downloaded the app and found the routes and times of preference. We purchased 1st class. I want to book our seats, but the app confuses me…I thought I could buy them on the app, but it’s saying to book on the website itself of the train company. Can someone please break it down for me so that I know exactly what to do? Thanks 

Hi! I have a Global Flexi Pass and have made a reservation for a Snälltaget night train from Hamburg (23:59) to Stockholm (14:19). Although this is a direct train and I ordered my reservation as such, the ticket I received includes a change of carriage in Malmö (where some carriages are swapped for others). Does this count as a transfer for my pass?I hope it doesn't, as I planned to only use one travel day for this journey (the day of departure from Hamburg). An official transfer past midnight would require me to spend an extra Interrail day, which I do not have available.

HiI’m a bit  confused about the best way to manage reservations for two of us travelling together. It seems there are two ways to manage a multi-person trip so that reservations are made together (so we can sit together): either by adding both travellers/passes to an account on the interrail web site or by adding both travellers/passes to the app on one mobile device.I understand that these two options are not connected, so it’s one or the other. Which option should I choose? Are there advantages to using the app option, eg we can make reservations together and have the reservation on the phone (without having to print out)? ThanksLee

I’ve managed to reserve first seat from London to Paris. I’ve since been trying for 3 Evenings to reserve seats for 2nd journey from Paris to Bern. It either keeps telling me gateway error or it just keeps circling ?? Any ideas . I still need to reserve more . I really wouldn’t be happy travelling without reservations so at least I know I have a seat !! Any help and guidance would be appreciated Thanks

So I’m planning my route and for some trains in Spain and Portugal it’s coming up with n/a for seat reservations. What does this mean?
