Train connections & reservations

We will be traveling from Vienna to Poland overnight tomorrow and need to make reservations. Our train gets to Vienna at nearly midnight tonight so I know that the ticket office will be closed. I tried to make reservations in Italy but they said they couldn’t do it. I realize the cars sell out but I have no way to do it early. Is there a way to make these reservations at a kiosk once we arrive? We have mobile global Eurail passesthank you 

My husband and I will be visiting Italy June 10-22. Is it too early to make seat reservations and get train tickets to the places we will be traveling?

Hey everyoneI think I have waited too long to buy the reservation for my train tomorrow from London to Paris. Now all it says on the website is “no prices availible”. Is there any way I can still get a reservation if I ask at the trainstation and try to book a reservation there? Has anyone been in the same situation? I am kind of desperate, please if you have any tips or ideas on how I could still get a reservation I would be very greatfull! Thanks, safe travels!

Night train from Amsterdam to Muenchen, seat reservation is not required, do you sugget me however to book a seat?

Hello, I have booked a reservation for two people on a train from Prague to Vienna, and I’ve received the ticket with only one of the names. It says ‘2 seats’, but one of the passengers’ name is not printed on it.is that normal? or shall I make another reservation? Thanks 

We have made several reservations for an upcoming interrail trip (consisting of several different legs) this summer, but the «proceed to payment»-button is inactive. Is this a common issue, and are there ways to solve it? Will this button become active at some point?We have accepted all terms, conditions etc.  

I am new to Eurail and the Rail Planner app. I bought Eurail passes for me and my husband online at eurail.com and downloaded the Rsil Planner app to my iPhone, which is running iOS 15.  I have added both eurail passes to the app and connected each of them to a trip, but I have not yet activated the eurail passes because I am not yet sure of the first date of travel.  l have been successful in searching for train ticket itineraries and adding them to My Trip. But I cannot use the app to make and purchase seat reservations on trains that require them. l have managed to use computer’s web browser to login to my account at eurail.com to buy reservations on a NightJet train that is critically important for our trip. An e-ticket was emailed with instructions to print it out on A4 paper, which is not available here in the US. After buying your mobile Pass, I can see that you have up to 11 months to activate it to start travelling, however, can you make reservations before then?  I want to make reservations now for a month’s trip in August.  Is that possible? 

Hi there, I’m looking to book a one month interrail pass and am wondering if my journey from Scotland (my home country) to London and then onto the Eurostar to France would count as one outbound ticket and be included with the pass or if I would have to pay for a separate ticket to get from Scotland to London first ?  

I am planning a trip to Sweden and Norway. I did not find any trains on the interrailwebsite to cross the border. But on local websites there is a route with two trains and a bus connecting Bodo and Kiruna. Is the interrailpass valid on these trains? The first train from SJ NORD will take me from Bodo to Fauske station.The second train from VY NATTAG will take me from Narvik to Kiruna.Can I use the interrailpass or should i buy a separate ticket for these trains?   

My partner and I are wanting to go on the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St Moritz. How do we reserve seats for this? On the website it only shows full price even when I put the Eurrail/Intereail Pass in the drop down box. Any advice welcome please 🙏🏻 

I want to book a sleeper reservation for Paris-Tolouse on May 28 and potentially back Tolouse-Paris June 7. I don't see reservations open for this train on the interrail reservation service. There's only a suggestion for a bus on the 28th. The option to buy a full price ticket on the official SCNF website doesn't show up as well. Does it mean it's just booked up on these days already? 

Question #1 - The Eurail app shows different routes/times than the website where I can book.  Specifically I’m trying to get from Salzberg Austria to Prague.  App showed a more convenient route, however, website shows inconvenient routes.  Travel date would be May 27th. Question #2 - I’m tall and prefer an aisle seat.  However, I keep getting assigned a window seat.  Can I change my preference or how do I go about getting an aisle seat?  

I'm going to Zagreb from Milano tomorrow and now this "Error-message" occurred, when buying the seat reservation for the first part of the trip (Milano to Trieste).It initially said that I don't need a reservation, but I'm not too sure now.Would love your opinions!

It’s not listed here: https://www.diebefoerderer.de/tarife/angebot/internationale-passangebote/ unlike most (all?) private operators across Germany. vlexx is a subsidiary of Regentalbahn (Die Länderbahn) according to Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlexx The Die Befoerder site for railpasses only lists Alex and Vogtlandbahn, not vlexx under Die Länderbahn.Any German experts able to help?Thanks. 

I travel from Zermatt to Perpignan, it looks like I have to make a reservation for the part “Valence Tgv Rhone Alpes Sud” to Perpignan. I can not find how/where to make this reservation. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you,

Are seat reservation prices static or can they increase as the date to travel gets nearer?

Hi,I am thinking of taking the train from Amsterdam to Munich which leaves at 20:28 and arrives at 6:03 am the next day. It is necessary to change trains between 23:40 and 23:55. My question is, if there is a delay on the second train, will it be necessary to use 2 days of the interrail pass?Thanks 

Where it says ‘domestic trains’, does that mean for only trains inside that country (this is for Germany) or does it mean for all of Europe. Or, does international mean anywhere outside of the country that these rules apply (the rest of Europe). Eg. if I were to travel from Berlin to Brussels would I be able to take any of the Domestic trains or would it have to be international? 

Hey, so i´ve tried to get my reservation for a train from Budapest to Prague on the 10th September from 9.40 am to 16.42 pm. But this doesn´t work saying i should try again later.Then i´ve tried to book reservations for a T3 - Sleeper on the same day but in the evening which should arrive in Prague by 8.42 am. But when i try to book this one it gives me an error code when i try to review my booking just before checkout. I really need some help because i also can´t book a hostel whilst not knowing if I need it or not when i travel by night train. Thanks, Luca
