Hi everyone, I have an 8 day Italy interRail pass for this Summer and would like some advice. What is the best way to get from Naples to Sorrento using the pass? On journey planner, no train stops show for Sorrento or the Amalfi coast. Thanks
Hello.Does anyone know the position of the private operator vlexx who operate trains in Rheinland-Pfalz, Hesse and Saarland regions? It’s not listed here: https://www.diebefoerderer.de/tarife/angebot/internationale-passangebote/ unlike most (all?) private operators across Germany. vlexx is a subsidiary of Regentalbahn (Die Länderbahn) according to Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlexx The Die Befoerder site for railpasses only lists Alex and Vogtlandbahn, not vlexx under Die Länderbahn.Any German experts able to help? Thanks.
I travel from Zermatt to Perpignan, it looks like I have to make a reservation for the part “Valence Tgv Rhone Alpes Sud” to Perpignan. I can not find how/where to make this reservation. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you,
Hi Guys, I am planning an interrail and so that the trains from Belgrade to Thessaloniki are no longer running. Therefore, I was wondering what would be the best way from Zagreb to Thessaloniki.
Are seat reservation prices static or can they increase as the date to travel gets nearer?
Hi,I am thinking of taking the train from Amsterdam to Munich which leaves at 20:28 and arrives at 6:03 am the next day. It is necessary to change trains between 23:40 and 23:55. My question is, if there is a delay on the second train, will it be necessary to use 2 days of the interrail pass? Thanks
Where it says ‘domestic trains’, does that mean for only trains inside that country (this is for Germany) or does it mean for all of Europe. Or, does international mean anywhere outside of the country that these rules apply (the rest of Europe). Eg. if I were to travel from Berlin to Brussels would I be able to take any of the Domestic trains or would it have to be international?
Hey, so i´ve tried to get my reservation for a train from Budapest to Prague on the 10th September from 9.40 am to 16.42 pm. But this doesn´t work saying i should try again later. Then i´ve tried to book reservations for a T3 - Sleeper on the same day but in the evening which should arrive in Prague by 8.42 am. But when i try to book this one it gives me an error code when i try to review my booking just before checkout. I really need some help because i also can´t book a hostel whilst not knowing if I need it or not when i travel by night train. Thanks, Luca
Hello everyone,I’ll be travelling with interrail this summer, together with my friends, and we’re looking at the different ways of reaching Split from Bratislava/Vienna. The easiest way would be using the Euronight train going Bratislava-Vienna-Split, but I can’t find any way of booking reservations on the train for a lower price than the ticket itself. ÖBB, which is the only site where I find tickets to the train, doesn’t change the price when the interrail/eurail discount is chosen. Is this night train not included in the pass/sold out on pass holder seats, or is there a way to get reservations without paying for a whole ticket? If there isn’t, what are the other options for a (low-cost) connection between these cities using only one travel day? From what I can tell, there’s night trains from Zagreb and Budapest to Split, but these seem even harder to book reservations for. I’ve been looking specifically at the train departing 28th of June, but this appears to be the case for other d
Hey, I just created a whole tour through europe in the summer and now i want to make all the necessary reservations but im getting into big trouble whilst doing. My train from Bruxelles-Midi to London St.Pancras on the 29th August from 17.21-19.00 says that the reservation is `temporarily unavailable´ and i thin it can´t be overbooked cause all the other trains that day do perfectly fine. Also i tried getting the reservation via the offiial website for the eurostar but there this train doesnt even exist what makes it even worse. This is not the only train with which i got trouble so i would really appreciate some help. Thanks, Luca
The wife and I will be traveling from Canada to Paris and making our way to Bad Hofgastein later in May. We purchased two eurail global passes and have found the trains that work best for us. Using the Rail Planner app I am able to link my pass and plan my trip. However it seems nearly impossible to reserve our seats. I believe the error we made is we purchased the rail passes through Rail Europe and not directly from Eurail. Is there a way around this or will reserving the seats at CDG be a fairly quick and easy process? We have approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from plane landing to when our preferred train leaves. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
I will be purchasing a Eurail Pass for a trip in June and July. I have been looking at the destinations and some of the places I plan to go do not show up in the Rail Planner, but I know that trains go there because I have traveled on them before. Can I use my Eurail Pass to travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Berchtesgaden? Neither one of those destinations comes up when I search for them in the Rail Planner. I want to make sure of this before purchasing my passes. Also, if they do not show up in Rail Planner and I can indeed use Eurail Pass to travel there, how do I make reservations if they destinations do not appear in the Rail Planner. Thanks.
Desde la app me aparecen diferentes descuentos por comprar un pase global pero a la hora de querer gozar del mismo no me lo permite. Desde la empresa de ferry no me dicen nada y quisiera saber si alguien sabe como funciona bien.Muchas gracias
March 16th I have booked reservations for a train on May 5th that had to be sent physically to me in the UK. The next day I have received a track and trace code. On the track and trace page however it doesn’t show any progress. I have replied to the first email on April 9th, and received an automated response that it was very busy and they needed more time on April 13th. Since then I haven’t received any email, so I have sent them a DM on Twitter on April 20th, a couple of hours later I got a response that they would check and follow up. I have reminded them yesterday morning, and today, but haven’t got any response since. I don’t see any phone number on the website and don’t know how to reach them. Does anyone have a phone number or a place I could go in London or Amsterdam?
I need to Travel from Paris to London via Eurostar on Apr 24, 2022, with Eurail Global Pass, and need to book seat reservation, but it is not available at Eurail.com. Where I can buy the seat reservation? Please help me. Thanks!
Hello everyone,Looking to book reservations for the Euronight 50467 from Innsbruck to Prague but am finding this error. It does not appear to be booked up because I get this error for all days in the coming months. If I check out the alternative ways to reserve a seat on this train, I am given the option to book it in-person at a train station in Europe but I would like to avoid this if possible since I know night-trains often become fully reserved close to the day of. What can I do? Thanks for the help.
Hello. I paid for a seat reservation from Toulouse to Lyon and even though it appears in the website, it doesn’t appear on the rail planner app. Can someone help me?Thanks a lot!!
I’m taking a train from Zermatt 7 may 6:13am train, towards milan. it states transfer by foot, is it possible to rush for the connecting train from Brig?
Bonjour,Je voudrais savoir s'il y a un moyen de faire Vienne Athènes en train.Merci
Hi, Sorry I know this has been asked in 100s of different iterations, but none-the less….. If I want to travel from York to London on day 1, stay overnight, then get the eurostar from London to Paris on day 2 (the next morning). Is this classed as 2 days of travel in country of residence or 1? Thanks in advance edit - to clarify, I am later returning on the eurostar to London, then onward to york (this time in a single day). So i want to check if i am using more travel than allowed in the country of residence.
Hi,I intend to buy the night train from Bratislava Hlavna Stanica to Prague Hlavni Nadrazi on EN476 train on 16/06 at 10:06 pm. On the app it appears as direct train and I need to book a seat. As you can see in my screenshots, the price for the reservation seat is from 3€ but on the interrail website the first option costs 40€. Taking this into account I went directly to the cd.cz site and realized that there was no possibility to buy a seat 6 bed compartment or only the seat without a bed. This happens not only in this day but all the trips I have searched. I tried to book a seat from Bratislava to Breclav and from Breclav to Prague, this way it is possible to book only one seat for less than 5€. - Can I buy these 2 tickets and travel continuously?- Does this route count as 1 day of travel or 2? Since the train is the same that starts at 22h06 and I never have to switch trains...- Is there a reason for such a long stop in Breclav, 2h30?- How do they track the number of days consumed o
When will Athens to Kalambaka train tickets for May 15 be released?
I have bought an online Eurrail pass and I’m travelling from Amsterdam to Zurich. On the Eurrail planner website I saw there is a direct train going from Amsterdam to Zurich (depart 20:28 and arrive 08:39) and it says that I can board that train and don’t need any reservations for it. However, somehow this train does not show up in my interrail app, so I cannot add this train to my trip. Does anyone have this same problem? Or know how I can still add this trajectory to my trip? Or does it mean that I cannot take that train?
I am looking at buying a one country pass i France and I am wondering if the local trains such as TER are run by SNCF, the pass is valide on SNCF and Thalys.
So I’m travelling in a few days and am deciding what trains to get my the Interrail app. By the app, it says that none of these trains need a reservation. But when I get to the train station how do I know which train to get on and if my pass covers it? On the app it says ICE 645, from Berlin Hbf- Brussels central with a couple of change overs. Will this be shown at the train station and how would I know which platform to get on etc. Also, when I need to get off for a change over how will I know to do this? I know that people have said to check online as well as using the app but how do I know which train service I’m checking for? And for each country, how do I know this too.
