Train connections & reservations

Hi all; I just wanted to check whether there is any issue with having unconnected journeys on your pass e.g train from Nice to Genoa, and then next journey Milan to Venice? Between Genoa and Milan we might get a different form of transport to save travel days. Will that be an issue? also does it matter if you have whole country gaps? E.g. travel days get you to Greece then your next train is in Spain (after flying)?

Hi!I plan to go on an interrail trip to the Balkans in September. I would like to visit Belgrade - is there any chance to get there by train from Budapest? And does the train from Belgrade to Sofia run? (sofia is my next direction). Thank you in advance for your answer. 

Hello, I need to book 2 adult tickets for seat reservations from Barcelona Santa - Madrid Atocha Cercanias for the 28th April. It says on the interrail app that it’s book in the station only. Is there any possibility that it can be booked online with any other site? 

Sorry if this is a silly question.  We are hoping to Inter rail this summer as a family of four - the reservation fee is showing as 46 euros for the Paris to Barcelona overnighter but it doesn’t specify if that is per person or not.  Just trying to make sure we have all the costs tallied before we proceed- thanks!

I am trying to go from Amsterdam to Berlin and do it overnight w a friend, we are going to travel to Frankfurt first. When booking a seat reservation can you not pick your seat on EUrail website? If not, how do you go about picking your seat together on trains that require a reservation?I have the mobile global flexi pass if that helps. 

Hello. We have a global pass and we are trying to travel from Budapest to Belgrade in order to get to Athens. However, we cant find in the app a train from budapest to belgrade. What can be happening? Does the global pass cover this area?  Thanks for your help and pardon me for my english (not native tongue, we are from Spain) 

Is it still to early? (Going 30th May...)I have planned all the trips, paid for the interrail pass and used the my rail planner to plan which trains to book. It passed me onto a different website to book and says for any and all trains for where we are going, no matter the time or day cant be booked. I am getting worried as its getting closer and has been saying this for a while now. This is the message for every single train and there are no trains when I have searched no reservations needed.‘Prices unavailableNo price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check 'More information' and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.’

Hi guys, how can I book the night train from Napoli Centrale to Palermo Centrale the cheapest way? We want to take the night train at the 7th of June and on the interrail reservation website it is so expensive to make a reservation for this train. We have a one country pass for italy. Do you have any tips on how to do it cheaper?  Thanks!! 

My daughter and I are travelling on Eurostar but as we have separate passes we can’t choose seats together.  Is there a way we can change this after we’ve made our reservation?

 We are a family of six.  We currently have planned a trip for a 5-day pass to Italy for all six of us. It appears that the app will not allow me to link my travel plans to my account.  It almost seems as though I have two separate accounts and I can’t link the two accounts.  I want to reserve seats but the system won’t allow me. Please help link my passes to my travel plans so I can proceed to reserve seats.  

Hi guys, Soon me and my boyfriend are about to book our seat reservations. However today I already looked up a few trains that require a seat reservations, at least the app says so. But visiting the website and also finding the exact same train things changed. Now the website says there are no seat reservations required. Hi all, Today I was travelling with my Interrail Global Pass 1st class from Dusseldorf, Germany with Thalys to Paris. My plan was to take the connection to Marseille where I had booked a hotel. When the train manager was checking my ticket, he stucked at my reservation which I did for 1st class Premium via B-Europe. He advised that my reservation is only valid with special abonnement cards which you can buy in France but is NOT valid with Interrail. My reservation shows “Pass Premium” and that’s not valid.That’s the reason he has the right to refuse my ticket and let me pay for a complete new ticket. After talking to his co-worker it would be okay if I take a seat in 2nd class instead.I told him that I never had problems with any reservations in TGV, Eurostar and ICE. But anyway, I felt like I was travelling illegal and the staff was extremely unfriendly. All people were looking at me as I would travel illegally for real - very embarassing and shameful to be honest. I never travelled w

Hi,I'm currently planning my trip from London to Glasgow.  For this train, a reservation is required, but I can't use the reservation tool from Interrail for this reservation. I also tried to make a reservation with ACP rail, but this product is not available in the Netherlands. I searched for other options, but I could not find a website/app where you can only buy a reservation without a ticket (because I already have a Interrail ticket). Does anyone has experience with this?:)

I have to book 7 seats on a train from Bologna to Wien. The interrail website isn’t working and its suggestion is to book the seats directly from OBB’s website. If I book them on OBB’s website how can I connect that reservation to my interrail pass?Thank you.

Good evening, I am sorry to disturb, I can’t find a way to connect Paris to Salzburg with a night train (I want to start my trip in the end of june)I’ve seen that I need to book the Asutrian Website, “OBB”, but there is no one way trainI thought it was possible to do Paris - Vienna with a one way train (no need to change the train, and with bed and without stopover), but the better way I found was Paris - Linz/Donau Hbf, and then I needed to change my train to Salzburg (friday 24th of june).I’ve also seen that there are just 3 days of night train from France to Austria, I hope you can help me,Thank you very much !

What’s the best/cheapest way to get from Rome city centre to Rome Fiumicino airport. Something like a reliable company or train/bus. Would this have to be pre booked or book when I’m there? 

Is there a reliable/trustworthy taxi/bus company they do journeys from Berlin airport to the city centre/Hbf station? Are trains available for this instead? 

I’ve planned out my  route using the Rail planner app (Berlin-Brussels-Paris-Zurich-Vienna-Ljubljana-Venice-Rome) and selected the ‘no seat reservation’ options so no journey in my route needs a reservation. I know journeys may take a bit longer and I’ll be standing but is this okay to do? I don’t want to get to the train and need a reservation, although my route doesn’t need any. However if I did need to reserve could I do this when I needed to board? 

Hola, en mayo voy a Portugal de Interrail yo sola, estoy leyendo comentarios de que es muy difícil subirse a los trenes con el pass móvil, que ponen muchas pegas y que en las estaciones a veces no hay revisores. Tengo que reservar dos trenes de larga distancia y ya he visto que solo se puede hacer en taquilla. Se puede reservar en cualquier estación? Gracias

We want to use the 1-country-pass to get there and get back home (we live near the french border, so that’s fine). We want to know, if we can use the third travel day to explore the surrounding area. Is that possible? Because we would finish the trip right where we start it.For example:Could we travel from Cannes to Nizza and back to Cannes in one day with the ticket?

J'ai voulu commencer à planifier mon voyage mais je rencontre un problème : quand je mets ma destination pour choisir un billet de train c'est marqué qu'il faut que je paye... Je ne comprends pas comment fonctionne l'application étant donné que je ne suis pas censé payé mes billets de train. 

Hello!Myself and three friends are planning on taking the train from Amsterdam to Bern, Switzerland this May. However, we are running into issues when trying to book the reservations. It appears that the Frankfurt connection is not allowed due to construction. Does anyone have any advice on how to get between these two destinations? I have read that some German trains do not require reservations. Any clarification would be helpful! Thank you! 

I have a couple of questions about the tickets (seat reservations) I received from Trenitalia booked via Interrail.The ticket says we reservated First Class tickets, but we reservated second class (our pass is for second class). Why? We are all 16/17 years old and is says we are adults. Is this correct?
