Train connections & reservations

Hi I've been trying to book my reservations for a traintrip from deventer (NL) to figueres vilafant (ES) and back. a lot of seat reservations are needed, but i seem not to be able to book the one from brussel to valence on 26/4/22 and one frome paris gare du nord to amsterdam on 6/5/22 .anyone have any ideas on how to book them alternitavely? it says ‘ No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders. Please try searching for another connection or find an alternative way to book. ‘ but i see no alternative way to book. anyone?thank you for your trouble regards, Bram

Dear community, I have a question regarding my seat reservation. I booked a seat reservation for the train from Lyon (France) to Barcelona (Spain). Since the printed ticket for the seat reservation will be delivered after starting my journey and I will already be at a friend's place at that time, I had to indicate his name and his address as the delivery address. With this post, I just wanted to make sure that the name indicated on the seat reservation ticket will be my name, not his name? My name was automatically chosen as the traveller's name during the booking process, however, I wanted to make sure that everything will be okay with the ticket. Buenas, tengo un problema compre el pase eurail con pase electronico y no decía nada de las reservas, me entero ahora que solo las reservas de aseinto se pueden hacer con un pase impreso. Alguien sabe como puedo resolver esto? Gracias. 

 Hello everyone, I am trying to reserve a seat on the train leaving HANNOVER HBF on the 18th of April at 14:40 for AMSTERDAM CENTRAAL at 19:00. Whenever I try to reserve seats I get an error stating “Please try to find an alternate connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On EUrail websiteBut the thing is, when I look on the DB website, there is availability on that train and I can even book seat reservations.    I have also tried to mobile eurail website on my phone, but I can’t even add the seats to my cart on there. I’m not sure what’s going on, because I was able to reserve seats on a train from Amsterdam to Paris with no issues.Someone please help, I would like to hold the seat reservation in my EUrail account for simplicity when traveling.

Hey everyone!Situation: I'm currently stuck in Spain because I have to be in quarantine. Because of that I can't travel back my planned route and use my seat reservations. I booked all of them at a ticket office in France and Germany, so I don't have them digital, only printed with me. The first train back would originally be on the 18th of March. I already tried to check whether I can cancel the tickets on the internet, but DB said on its website that they aren't able to (I'm not sure about that though).  Question: Do you know if there is any way to cancel or at least postpone the reservations? I have friends who would be able to go to a ticket office in Spain for me as well. 

Hi everyone !I’ve noticed that some travelers ask for similar questions, but it was a few months ago, so maybe the answer has changed.My boyfriend and I would like to go from slovenia to serbia and then from serbia to greece.But impossible to find train which does those route.I think I need to go from Slovenia to Zagreb, ans then from Zagreb to Serbia (Beograd), but I can’t find anything…I hope you can help, Thank you :) 

HiI am planning my first Interrail adventure. My first journey is from Sweden to the very north of Germany and is with 5 connections, mostly with short  transfer. The risk of missing a connection is therefore present.When I connect a journey to my Interrail pass (not bought or validated yet) will the ticket be valid for the all connections or do I get separate tickets for each part?RegardsRobertPS: I will be using the App, no paper.

I am trying to book to Holyhead from London.  The app lets me get a ticket, but no seat.  Then gives the warning seat reservations are required.  I am utterly confused! help!

Hi, im having trouble finding in the page of OBB where to indicate that I have a EUrail pass to make a reservation on a night train, in order to this they are charging me the tickets, con you indicate me where I can put this info so I dont have to pay the tickets?

Hello!I have found the cost of a reservation between London and Paris (30 Euros) but I do not see one for Paris to London. We will only need a one way ticket to London. Where can I see this information before I purchase a Eurail Pass? Thanks!

Hello everyone!Would somebody know why InterRail pass holders need to pay a extra fee for using Brussels Airport?And what other option do I have, if I want to use a bus from the airport,  do I still need to pay that fee or is it only for using the trains?Thank you.  

Hi!I want to take a regional train for Portbou to Barcelona. Is it available in Interrail global pass? The application on mobile phones and timetable on the Interrail site don’t show this train.I added it manually to my trip planner but I don’t know if it’s going to work.Has anyone travelled taking this train? We are family of four with First Class Rail Passes.  I am trying to book reservations for the following with no success:Paris, Fr to Caen, Fr - March 15, 2022 08:29-10:46 (4 seats first class)Paris, Fr to Brussels - March 18, 2022 16:46-18:43 Please help!!  There are lots of seats buy it won’t let me through the eurail system.  Thank you.

Hi there, I'm travelling around Europe for the first time using the Global pass for two months. I'm starting from Portugal then to Spain, France, and then Italy and possibly to Croatia. I'm having a problem reserving seats through the app. It says that for some countries reservation is only allowed at the station ie can't do it in advance online. Wondering if people found it relatively easy reserving at train stations or what the process was like? I've read that Spain can be tricky but there seems to be no other option to reserve in advance. I have alot of places that I'm going to visit around Spain so would be great to get some more clarity!Many Thanks :) 

Hi, I was trying to book a reservation for the train from London to Aberdeen, but it didn't work. It said that that's online possible if you book it directly at a train Station in the UK. I'm afraid though that there won't be any reservations left if I only book it once I arrived in the UK. Is there any other way to book it beforehand?  Thank you!

I want to travel from Paris St Lazare to Bayeux on June 6 and return from Bayeux to St Lazare on June 8.  Reservations are required for these trains.  I have been successful in making reservations on all my other trains on the Eurail phone app, but for every train between Paris and Bayeux on these dates I receive the message, “No price results were found for this connection.  It is possible that the train is fully booked for pass holders.”  Amazingly, this same response is given for every Paris-Bayeux train, as many as 13 per day, on each of several dates; I can’t imagine that every single seat on dozens of trains is booked, so I suspect a systemic problem.  Has anyone discovered an end-run around this problem, including not making a reservation at all?  I know I can take slower regional trains on other dates, but this would greatly mess up my schedule.  Please advise.

Hi, I’m trying to book a reservation for me and my friend travelling from Paris Nord to Brussels Ziud. I have the two of our passes on my account so we can book reservations to be seated beside one another but it won’t give me an option to select both for this trip. I’ve tried to click both but it’s only allowing “1 traveller”. Is there a way to pay for the 2 seat reservations at once? any help greatly appreciated!

I have just bought two passes (Greek Islands Pass), and in my confirmation from Interrail it says, that it will arrive in the end of the month (29 march). I contacted the Atticka Group on email to book ferries, but they told me that I needed my island pass cover number - but I haven't got one yet. Do I get this number at the end of the month, when my passes arrives or is it possible to get it beforehand, so I can book the ferries now?

Hi, I booked a reservation for a train and I was wondering whether or not I need to add this reservation to my trip in the App? Is there a way to do that? Or is it enough if I just add that journey to the App ? Thanks a lot! Milli

Can anybody get the seat reservation system working right now? Every time I click on “Book your reservation” the site does not allow me to enter any information on travellers/trains. Can anybody help?

Dear Interrail community,I need to make seat reservations from Milan to Bern for the EC leaving at the 7th of March at 11am. Unfortunately, I can't make the reservations here in Parma as the train station isn't large enough to do this. Now I wanted to book the seats via your website, but it's since a couple of days the reservation page is so slow, it takes me half an hour just to type in the "Milan" as a starting point (30min is not over exaggerated; I've tried this multiple times over the last couple of days). Therefore, I haven't been able to complete a booking, but I need a reservation on the train. Can you please help me? It's quite urgent. (Also, if you could fix that bug on your website, that would also do the trick.) Hope you can help me,Maxi

When I click on link “Check Train Time” on Laptop, it stuck nothing happens (Safari or Firefox) on iPhone I get this 

Hi! Is possible that sometimes the interrail says that a reservation for a seat is mandatory but in reality we don’t need it? Like for example, I buy my reservation seat at a main station and they tell me that with interrail i don’t have to buy it( but my interrail app says it is necessary to buy it. Is this happen also to you, how you know when is in reality necessary and when not? Thanks!! 

Hi, I'm new to this and am trying to plan a trip with my family this summer. I have checked websites of all the trains and reservation fees that I would have to pay but am having trouble with SNCF. I read that they have limited interrail tickets available, but on their website I can't seem to add that its an interrail pass booking. I don't have the interrail pass at the moment so it seems I can't check the interrail reservations until I have one.Is it possible to find out the availability of interrail places available before I purchase my interrail ticket?And if there is no interrail availability on certain tgv trains for example, then do I have to buy full price tickets? Rendering my interrail pass useless.TIA

Hi, I’ve  just noticed that Trenitalia offers some discounts on trains. It seems that it’s better to buy a regular ticked instead of using a day-trip with Interrail. The same train when try to book a seat in interrail system:And promo price in trenitalia (w/o interrail discount) for exactly the same train:97EUR with Interrail, 83EUR without :-ODo I understand it wrong? Is there any option to buy a super econony & interrail mix? Or just the best option is to buy a regular ticket and to save a trip day for the future?
