Train connections & reservations

Hi!I'm planning a trip to Spain and Portugal with interrail in July/August. I saw as answer to another question that there are currently no trains between Lisbon and Madrid. Does anyone know why and how long that's gonna be (if it's still the case in July/August). That would be super helpful, thanks!Julia

The payment worked well and I received an E-mail with the payment confirmation but NO E-Ticket.…I really don't know what to do as I have to depart tomorrow...

Hi Interrailers,I have a question. How can I make a seat reservation for the train between Lyon and Barcelona? I am based in Amsterdam and it is for the 15th of April. I have already read a lot of tips, like calling the DB, NMBS, Renfe and SNCF. I have spoken to them all and no one can help me so I hope one of you had the golden tip!Last option is to ask a friend of mine who lives in France to book it for me, but is that an option? Can someone else buy it for me and send it by post? 

I’m an inter-railing rookie.  I am travelling in a family group of five in August.  Our kids are older and hence will have their mobile pass on their own phones.  Can I make seat reservations for the five us of us to sit together and then pass the reservation details onto them?I will buy all the mobile passes and then send onto them.Hope this makes sense.  Thanks in advance

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. I am flying from Rome to Barcelona to save travel days. Can I add a journey when i land in barcelona without joining it to Rome. I planned on doing my route to Rome and then just starting again in Barcelona - is this possible? Or will I need to start another “Trip” in the app and start there? 

Hello,i am very disappointed by the seat reservation system, especially in Paris. Why did i buy an Interrail Pass for 251€, only to pay for all trains again?From Paris for almost all Trains you have to book a seat reservation before boarding. Problem is: The booking website does not work. So we had to go to the ticket office at Paris Est, stand there in a line for 45 minutes only to be told that our train is already full and all other trains this day are booked out as well. Our only option was to board the train anyway and buy the reservation in the train, where it costs twice as much - while we had to sit on the floor anyway.For our trip to Paris we paid 20€ per Person and for the journey back it was 35€ per Person - while we also paid 251€ for the Interrail Pass. We thought with Interrail we could travel spontaniously and we would not have to pay for every train once again!Please fix your reservation website as soon as possible!For anyone planning a trip right now: If your trains nee

How can i travel from Madrid ---Barcelona---Perpignon in Regional Trains? Where can i check the timetables for train : Madrid -- Barcelona Barcelona--Perpignon Are all the regional trains of RENFE/SNCFA trains covered by Eurorail pass , which means i don’t have to pay extra for these trains ?

Hello, I have a problem because I really need to do some reservations for next week, but the reservation tool on the website doesn't work and I can't do it in the app as well. And I can't do it on any other website nor will I have the time to buy it at the station. The website just does not load or closes itself again and again when I try to write the directions. Can you help me please! It is urgent

Hey! I booked 3 seats on the website, did the payment, and it’s been a few hours and nothing appears on my reservations… I tried sending an email to customerservice@interrail.eu and it didn’t work.. Any ideas how to solve this? Thank you very much and any help is appreciated.

Is the reservation fee paid per seat or per group? For example, if I were to book a 4-berth couchette, is the price shown per berth or is it for all 4 berths?

Hello,I need to book a reservation for the night train Paris->Latour de Carol on Saturday (and for a Spanish train on Sunday). At a DB counter, they told me that they cannot book domestic train reservations abroad anymore. On the SNCF website, it is not possible to book Interrail reservations any longer. B-europe does not show the train. And I cannot even access the Interrail.eu reservation tool: It says "Using the timetable below, you can make reservations for most European trains", but there is no timetable on the page at all. Does anyone know how I can book the reservation?

Hey Interrailers,I am planning to do an Europe Trip with roughly this route: Berlin-Vienna-Prague-Budapest-Ljubljana-Florence-Rome-Naples-Nicce-Barcelona-Paris-Amsterdam-CopenhagenI have two questions concerning my Interrail Trip:The first one is about reservations. I am planning to do the trip during March to May and I am pretty sure that it won´t be such a big issue to make reservations for various trains spontaneously e.g. at the train stations (mainly Italy, Spain and France as reservations are most of the time obligatory in these countries). As I a not travelling during summer, it is possbile to book reservations spontaneously as trains are not that busy during off-season/spring am I right? Nevertheless, I  have read a lot about the problem that sometimes reservartions need to be printed out and this would be quite difficult to do if you are already in another country. Sadly, I found no answer to that question:)The second one is about the outbound/inbound rule: I planned to visit

Before I buy a 4 day pass to use in one month, how can I make sure that the trains I need are available. Travelling only in France. Thanks!

I’m concerned about the connections between Paris-Lucern-Zermatt-Milan-Venice. It’s multiple countries, trains and connections. I haven’t purchased our Eurail yet, plan to soon, but will I need to book each section AND pay the reservation fee for each leg of the trip? We will be staying one night in Lucern and 2 nights in Zermatt. I’m really excited about taking the Glacier Express for the Zermatt to Brig section then on to Milan and Venice. Any advise & tips would be helpful. Thanks in advance.  

Unfortunately I can't find any Irish destination on the Interrail Planner App. But as far as I know is Ireland part of the Interrail network. Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Hello, I am trying to reserve 4 train tickets for the TGV 9702 TGV INOUI from Barcelona-Sants to Paris Gare de Lyon on the 2. of August at 10:00 am. I think these reservations are only available as paper tickets.If I try to make the reservation on the eurrail/interrail website it tells me that the amount of available seats is unknown. How can I reserve seats, if the website doesn't know how many seats there are?Also I read on a different page that reservations for Spain can only be done at train stations, so how is it possible to do one on the website? I am very confused and would be grateful for some help. 

Hello, I think about travelling from Berlin up to Lisboa with a day stop/over night in Paris and Madrid (or Night train Madrid-Lisboa) by using a Global Pass in spring. I spent really a lot of time by using the Planner App and or this website - but failed... Is there any way (Service center? Whatever...) to have a working connection put together completely (train connection plus reservation (if absolutely necessary))?Thanks,Ber

We want to travel to a family wedding in May. Leaving England on May 25th - travelling by Eurostar to hopefully Paris. I think the night in Paris and then a look around the following day would be good. We really need to be as close to the wedding venue - 25mins outside of Verona Italy on the Friday night so we can easily get to the wedding venue the following day.We are at the wedding venue on the Saturday and Sunday night (28th and 29th) but will need to get back to England on June 1st.So we’re looking for suggestions about 26th and 27th and then travel back. I am trying to book a train from Paris to Amsterdam and am having trouble with the book reservations tool. Is anyone else still having issues? How else can I book a ticket if I am meant to travel on Sunday?

I'm currently traveling by train from Bucharest to Budapest and it will have about 2 hours delay. Is there any way to get a refund from the transport company (Mav/Mav start)?Do I need to get a proof of delay by the staff?Thank you for your answers in advance!:)

Surely that´s been asked before, but I can´t find the answer… I´ve just bought 3 mobile passes and I don’t know how to make the reservations. Do you have to make the trips on the app before making the reservations? I still don´t know the exact schedule I will take, so I can´t make an exact trip, but I´d like to make reservations for the Thalys, TGV and Freccia Rossa that we will take…  Can I make the reservations for the 3 of us together? Is there any tutorial or something like that? We’ll be travelling on april.
