Train connections & reservations

I and my friend are planning to travel from Zagreb to Split in a few days. However, the ticket is available in only a paper format and it won't deliver as we are late with the booking. It is suggested on the Eurail app that we buy it offline. We are traveling in Prague and Budapest and probably Ljubljana before that. Can we buy the ticket offline at any of these stations, or do we have to buy it in Croatia itself?We don't want to risk not getting a booking.

Hello!!I have bought an Interrail Pass and now I’m checking which of the trains require seat reservations.For many of them, I cannot purchase this via the eurail website. In this case, do I have to purchase the individual train tickets (on different websites) as if I don’t have an Interrail pass?What if I wait to buy my seat on the day right before departure? Thank you

Hello, I am trying to book a TGV between Marseille and Lyon for Saturday the 25th.However I get an unexpected error during the last step of the process and I don’t know why, could somebody help me out please ?

Faut-il que j’attende ?De plus, quand je consulte les horaires de voyage, je peux voyager jusqu’à Decin en République Tchèque mais sur la carte, il est noté que le train ne s’y arrête pas. I need to make a reservation fo go from Barcelona to Nimes.This is the outbound journey to get to France with my France pass.The company of national trains in Spain say that they can't book the reservation for me. But neither can the interrail page.Where do I make the reservation?This is so frustraiting, I’ve spent hundreds of euros on this trip that was supposed to be cheap. Only on reservations.

I would like to book in the sleeper car between Stockolm and Abisko but I can only do it with normal seating?  Isn't it possible to do this via the interrail app?  how should I do it?  thank you

I’m gonna book an interrail pass and I can see on your app a trip from Stockholm to Tuku Satama. Given that that trip requires a boat, is it included in the pass? I found this on the interrail app

Forgive me for being clueless!I will be traveling from Paris to Rome in April. Are the reservation fees separate from the Euro Rail Pass? If I am reading it correctly, I need the Euro Rail Pass and the Reservation (for an additional fee)? Is this correct? Otherwise, I may not have a seat on the train.It’s my first time traveling to Europe, I’m beyond excited but I am a little unsure of what I am doing!Thank you!

Are there some magic words that you can say to train employees that help them understand the pass and it’s discounts?  I was just in a French station and they wanted 40eu for two people to take a 20 minute high speed train trip. I have always paid 20eu even to take a 4 hour high speed train.  when I was in Spain I could see their computer screen and apparently there are 20 different passes they can choose from.  I tried to tell the lady in the station today that it was a Eurail pass but she had no interest in seeing the details.  As a result we are wasting a few extra hours take slow trains today.  

I have tried multiple times to book a reservation and get the message from the screencap below. I have also tried booking through travel.b-europe.com, though when trying to book there, it states that booking there is “only valid for Eurail/Interrail passes in paper format (not for digital passes).” I am in the U.S.A. and I don’t have any paper passes; only digital. Is there any other way possible to book the reservation? 

Hi, I’m GermanoI would like to make a 4-day pass (30/12 - 2/01) in 1 month only first class tickets for 3 night trains: (Venice - Vienna; Vienna - Berlin and Berlin - Zurich) and 2 regular trains (Milan - Venice; 30/12 and Zurich-Milan; 2/01)If I do this type of pass, can I book any seat on any train (of Trenitalia railway company for regular trains and of OBB nightjet railway company for night trains) in those 4 days? even seats with couchettes or beds?Thanks for the availability

Does Eurailpass offer a complete service for obtaining specific train reservations if I provide the dates and desired routes for a multi-city trip?

I am trying to find a way to book seats on the TGV trains between Luxembourg to Paris and Paris to Frankfurt online with the ability to use my Interrail cover number. I can't find any retailer that let me do this, except maybe the Interrail planner app reservation function. Since I bought my pass from a Swedish retailer I am not able to use the app for reservations… Is there any other site I can possibly use? I guess the only other option I have is to book these trains separately and pay full price :(Since this is my first time traveling with trains outside Sweden I’m not familiar with booking train tickets at stations, but do you think that there will be any seats left if I book these seats like 2 days ahead in Paris when I get there at the ticket office? Or is the pressure on tickets too high on the high speed trains to be able to get any in such a short time ahead? I rather not be stuck in Paris :)

Hi there,My qeury is regarding booking a reservation. It is my first time and I want to see an I doing it right. The journey is on the IC407 from Krakow Glowny to Wien HBF on the 3rd of Dec at 10:52pm arrival 7:00am. I plan to use this as a sleeper. So when picking the route the app says reservations start from 4 euro, when I go to book through Interrail option, it only gives me one option for 11 euro? and doesn’t state what I’m actually booking, seat, couchette etc. If I try book to use the other payment option it gives me on the app (PKP website), it’s making me pay for the train ticket along with the bed/seat choice, i found somewhere that said there should be a discount drop down list including interail pass as an option, but not to my avail.? After doing some research and believe i can book a single couchette for the night through the “polrail” website. It seems quite expensive tho, so i would love to know has anyone booked this route and also what are my best options going forwar

I’m trying to take the night train from Romania to Hungary in December but this trip is only available with a paper ticket. Unfortunately the ticket can’t be delivered to me in time and I can’t delay my trip. Is there a way to only purchase a reservation and not a ticket? (since I already have a pass) I checked the webpage of the Romanian railways but they unfortunately do not offer this option for international trains. Does anyone have any advice?

I am trying to book Basel SBB to Interlaken OST on 17 DEC 2021. The alert displayed shows Seat Availability Unknown. I went directly to the SBB ticket shop site and am unable to book there as it will not accept the credit card. Please note: have already contacted the card company and they show they have not blocked the transaction and have verified that I am using the right card. I cannot seem to get an answer why the card cannot be accepted from SBB. There seems to be availability on the SBB site. Should I take my chances and ignore the alert and book through Eurail? 

I am interested in booking a reservation from Paris Gare de Lyon to Basel SBB on 17 Dec 2021 on the 8:35AM Train arriving in Basel at 12:40PM. There is a dashed line connecting Paris Gare de Lyon to Paris EST. What does this mean? Would it be better to depart from Paris EST?

Hello, I am trying to reserve 3 train tickets, for myself and 2 friends, from Paris to Aix-en-Provence TGV on the 23rd December. I am able to add the ticket reservations to my cart, but when I try to review the order it says that the route is not available and that I have to find another route.  I have tried reading the forum for solutions - it turns out this can be solved by booking a reservation at b-europe instead. However, this needs a paper pass cover number, which we do not have as we only have the mobile pass. Does anyone know how I can get the paper pass cover number? Thank you!!

Good Evening! I tried to make a reservation from Barcelona to Paris and it does not show me the purchase of an electronic ticket that I want but only the choice of the paper ticket. Does anyone know why this happens?

Hi! I am unable to find any information about the requirements of reservation with the IC train between Brussels to Luxembourg. Does anyone have any experience of traveling between these cities with Interrailpass? Did you need to reserve a seat or could you just hop on the train?

My partner and I each have 4-days-in-a-month Interrail All-Europe passes.  We are planning a trip in December from London to Sevilla.   On the outward journey, we want to take the Paris-Latour Intercite de Nuit couchette service on Sunday December 5.  Using your website, I added all the various journeys to the Basket [London to Paris and returning; Barcelona to Sevila and returning; Barcelona to Paris on the homebound leg; plus the night sleeper service on the outward leg.] When I tried to proceed to Checkout, there was a message in red below the Paris-Latour leg of the journey, saying “Please find an alternative connection.” I tried again.  I also tried booking a 2nd class couchette instead of 1st class [the class of our Interrail passes].  But I got the same message. Please can you help me to book this service for myself and my partner.

Hi mates 😁I Will be in germany until wednesday 10/11/2021 and then i have to go to Valencia. I must arrive to Valencia the friday 12 or saturday 13 of november. In the app i only have options on mondays so the only choice i have is take the train on moonday 15 so it is not an option. Hope you can help me ❤

My husband and I are coming to Europe for 2 weeks from US, December 16. We will need to have our first train travel day on December 19. I know the new timetable is not out for December 12 and on. Does anyone know when that new timetable will be out? We have the 5 day travel pass. I was reading that you can book through the actual train sites? Is this true? I’m not sure what train sites we would need to go on. We want quicker trains. Going from Venice to Rome to Lucerne to Paris to Amsterdam to London. I’ve done the trains between Amsterdam, Paris, and London before but not booked myself before.
