Train connections & reservations

Hello all, 3 friends and I ordered a mobile Interrail pass each. Many journeys we would like to do require seat reservation. However, the online seat booking system doesn't work (I’ve searched for many journeys in the reservation system, none of them is available for seat reservation, according to the system), it seems to be a known issue in the community. Is it possible to make seat reservations for 4 adults for the following journey?Lyon Perrache → Berlin, August 07, departing at 9:58 AM and arriving at 20:22 (there is a correspondance from Lyon Perrache → Frankfurt(Main) Hbf, it is the journey which need seat reservation) We had no sustained answer from the sncf and the interrail service, the two send us back to the other company... we're 3 days before we leave, it's a little panic.. thank you very much for helping us.

Hello. I am currently trying to book reservations in France and Italy. Sadly the website always says “not available”, even though I have tried every date and time that is possible. I have also tried booking over the ItaliaRail website, but they have no function where you can say that you own an Interrail Pass. I can only book tickets not reservations over the Italian website despite the Interrail website saying, that booking only reservations over the ItaliaRail website should be possible. Can anyone help me solving this problem? Why does it always say “not available”? (I have looked on other websites the train is available and not fully booked)

Good morning, I would like to ask your support with a problem I had on Monday. I don't know who should I contact, as I haven't received any answer from Eurail. I needed to travel from Venezia Mestre (where I live) to Stuttgart on Monday (via Munich), and this would have been my frist trip of my interrail pass (5 days within a month). I booked the train from Venezia Mestre to Munich at 13.47 on Monday 2 August, however once I went to the station, the train was not displayed. I talked to the train company and they told me that that train has been anticipated by one hour and unfortunately they didn't notify most of the passengers who didn't book via the OBB website, but via other platforms (like me). So the next train would have arrives at 2.30 in the night (waisting also in this case two travel days). Hello i made a reservation for a night train and paid for it, however after seing the booked under overview it diseapeared and i didn't receive a ticket via mail while my friends didDoes anyone knows how to access or ask for sending again the tickets

Has anyone tried to book a night jet train via OBB? I am a bit confused how do I put in my interrail global pass when it comes to reserving a seat. Apparently I should be able to online via the option "Interrail/Eurail - Globalpass" under discount but I can't seem to see that… if anyone has any guidance or suggestion on this that would be amazing! I am intending to travel from Innsbruck to Amsterdam. For some reason the OBB number online doesn't work when I call either. Thanks in advance ! :) 

hello, were actually in a train who is going to budapest from prague, we’ve got our ticket on our phone but the company (régiojet) told us it wasnt valid. and that interrail wasnt available with their trainsbut with have thé ticket on our phone and it was never write anywhere that we had to do anything.they forced us to leave the train because they would call the police. We dont have anywhere to sleep and there are no trains later . what can we do ? help us 

I added a journey to our mobile pass from Paris to Bayeau and return in September (14/16). The system says I need a seat reservation.  However, it will not allow be to make a seat reservation.How do I make a seat reservation?  I would like to do it before I travel rather than waiting until Wearrive in Paris.(I made seat reservations before but there seems to be a problem now.) jim

Hello,I am Tim and want to travel with nine other friends from Karlsruhe by train to Arezzo on 13. 08. 2021 Our problem is this: We have to reserve seats for train routes in Italy, but we are unable to do so as there is no price or route available for more than two people! But when you book as an individual, everything is there and available! Now I wonder why this is so? Are there too many people on a trip and we need to split up? As I said, even with two people in total in one trip we can not reserve the seats! No matter what time on that day.For a very quick feedback I would be very grateful! !Tim

Hallo, Ich bin noch vor der Reise, und hatte gerne gewusst, wie sollte man vorgehen wenn der Anschluss auf  reservierte Zug nicht geklappt hat. Kann ich direkt nächste Zug nehmen? Online Sitzplatz ist nicht mehr buchbar (3std Regel) Und noch eine Frage, wenn das nächste Zug ohne Reservierung ist, kann ich ihn spontan  nehmen? (Auch paar Minuten früher entschieden) Reicht es wenn ich ihn in Planung mit Ticket verbinde? Danke für die Antworten. Weronika

Hi all, I've seen that a few people are having issues with reservations but essentially my partner and I have a global mobile pass and are attempting to make a reservation for a train from Rotterdam to Paris on 10 August. However, we are getting the issue "No price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book." Has anyone received this error specifically and got advice to the best way forward? I've also noticed this for future train trips we have planned in August so any advice would be really appreciated :)  

Hello,I plan to travel tomorrow from France (Lyon) to Norway, going through Germany but I don’t manage to do my first booking online (Lyon => Frankfurt or Karlsruhe via TGV 9583).The app indicates “No price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book.”.I don’t manage neither to call the reservation number +41 900 300 300. I tried to call SNCF but they say they can’t do anything for passengers with Interrail pass.Any advice?Mathilde

Hi all, In a few days i'm going from the Netherlands to Poland. It is quit easy to make reservations for Polish trains (due to corona, you need to make reservations for all fast trains), but for the EC from Berlin to Warszaw it is just not possible. I tried making a reservation with Interrail, DB, and PKP.  It is however possible to make a reservation for the same train from the first Polish station (Rzepin) to Warszaw. So I guess the only possibility is to buy the seat reservation at Berlin Hbf. Does anyone have experience making a reservation for a Polish train at this station? And is it a good idea to just make a reservation for the Rzepin - Warszaw section already? Thanks a lot, Alex

Hi Fellow interrailers. Hope someone can help, we are not able to book a only reservation ticket from Nimes to Bruxelles. It shows no price available and to try again or find alternate route. This is the best route we have but are not able to book via the website or app. Is there an alternate way to book the same route - maybe call TGV or some other option to do offline?? Thanks for the help

Hello!I am trying to book seat reservations on the Interrail website. The train I would like to book (a TGV Paris-Karlsruhe) is shown as “Not available”. At first I thought the train might be full, but then I also checked other dates (every day of the week) and other cities (Stockholm to Malmö, Hamburg to Karlsruhe or to Amsterdam, etc...)Every single train I checked, regardless of time of day, date or city, is shown as “Not available”.Is there anything wrong with the website or the interface, or am I missing something?For information; I tried on both Chrome and Firefox, as well as the app. I have a valid mobile pass, bought at the end of June, which I will start using next week. I am booking only for myself.Or perhaps I need to add the travel days to the mobile pass first?I’m thankful for any help or tips!Cheers,

How and where can I book a train ride from Venice to Paris.   ( looking for scenic but comfortable).  First time doing this

I made my e-tickets reservation several hours ago, there was a problem with one leg of my journey which I did solve by myself asking interrail for a refund on that specific leg. About the other reservations which they said to me were booked in an email, I haven’t received any ticket yet, and they also do not appear online in my account after 4+ hours. I’ll leave this Tuesday.

HeyIch will am Freitag von Augsburg - Neapel fahren, dafür habe ich ein Italien Pass gebucht.Die Strecke Augsburg - Brenner würde ich mit einem normalen Ticket fahren und dann ab Italien das Interrail Italien Ticket für die Strecke Brenner - Neapel benutzen.Ich kann jedoch die Strecke Brenner - Bologna nicht Buchen bzw. sie nicht in meine journey hinzufügen, “conditions apply” steht in der App.Die Reservierung dafür konnte ich aber schon kaufen bzw. habe ich schon gekauft.Kann ich jetzt trotzdem mit diesem Zug fahren oder ist das nicht möglich?Ich muss um 16.00 Uhr in Bologna sein, da von dort mein bereits reservierter Zug nach Neapel fährt. Mit welchem Zug das am Ende klappt ist mir prinzipiell egal:) Vielen Dank bereits für eure Zeit 

Hi, if I purchase a 6 day Greek ferry pass, how do I book the actual ferry? Can I just turn up at the dock and purchase a ticket? Or do I have to email/call someone to reserve a space on the ferry? Would appreciate any advice! Many thanks x

Hello!I booked an interrailpass for August. We want to join the Centovalli route from Domodossolla to Locarno. On the website from interrail it says that we can use our interrailpass on the hole route of the Centovalli route. But if I click on the website of the centovalli route it says I have to book tickets and make a reservation. I can not make a note or something to say that I have an interrailpass. Can someone tell me how to make a reservation for this route? Did someone maybe already take this route? I would like to hear if someone knows something about this :)) Greetings!Naomi 

Hi everyone! Im travelling around and want to go from bari or brindisi to greece to visit zakynthos, if possible also kefalonia + travel to igoumendi to get the boat back to italy. I cant find a boat to make a reservation. Any help is welcome, thank you!
