Train connections & reservations

Hi! We want to go from Thessaloniki to Skopje but we found out that there is no train connection at the moment. We thought a solution would be with the bus but we can't also find any bustickets for this route. Is there anyone who knows where we can buy these tickets online? Thank you!Meike

Hi! I'm travelling from Budapest to Prague and I've found a Regiojet train that meets my terms of travel but I'm wondering if I can even use the Regiojet train because I don't know if it's one of the train operators usable for Interrail travellers.Any information will be welcome. Thanks

Hey interrailers!(Bericht in het Nederlands, maar antwoord gerust in het Engels) Aanstaande zaterdag willen we graag met de nachttrein van Boedapest naar Boekarest. Nu zijn er twee opties: om 7 uur en om 11 uur 's avonds. Weet iemand wat het verschil is tussen deze twee treinen? (naast dat ze verschillende aankomsttijden hebben natuurlijk).En dan nog de vraag of er ergens online kan worden gereserveerd, anders doen we dat aanstaande zaterdag gewoon op het station natuurlijk. Bedankt alvast!

I am going to be traveling through Italy this September, and I purchased a Eurail Pass since I would be taking highspeed trains wherever possible. Problem is, on the Eurail website, there are no options for highspeed trains after Sept 19th. However, when I check the Trenitalia website for dates after Sept 19th, there are dozens of highspeed trains. And I can't get a phone number for customer service for the Italian side of things. Has anybody had any experiences like this? 

Hello, we’re two frenchies who will travel to Europe this summer and we would like to know something If we miss a train during our travel day Is it possible to take the next one in the same day? And if it is, how can we do that ? We’re worried because during our trip sometimes we only have 6minutes to change of trainThank ans have a nice trip😊

Ciao stavo facendo il viaggio da Finlandia-Helsinki a Svizzera-Lausanne, ma quando stavo nel treno da Stockholm tegelvikshamnen a Malmo C ho avuto un contrattempo e cioè un malfunzionamento nel treno quindi hanno fatto scendere i passeggeri a Linkoping C e ci hanno portato ad un altro treno, poi pero questo treno anche ha avuto un malfunzionamento quindi ci hanno fatto scendere a Hassleholm C poi ci hanno portato ad un altro treno e finalmente siamo arrivati a Malmo C ma il mio problema è che adesso ho perso tutte le prenotazioni e non so che fare, perche qua a Malmo C il ticket office è chiuso, adesso mi dirigo a Copenhagen H ma non ho il biglietto, ho solo il biglietto del altro treno

An hour ago I made a reservation for a Paris-Nice train that departs in two days (July 30). I can see the reservation in my account, but there are no seats assigned and no e-tickets to print. Do I just wait for them to appear, or is there an issue that needs to be resolved?

Hey it's me again... Now trying to book my seat for my train from Prague to Wien. I have 2 options: train ticket without reservation (but possible) or reservation without ticket..? What is the difference? (except for the big price change) Also, why can't I find the Interrail discout in the discounts section...?Thanks in advance for your answers!

Can I reserve seats together for travelers who have both eurail and interrail mobile passes? Scenario:I am having issues when entering the pass cover number for the interrail traveler on traveler details (I am using order number which does not work).How do I obtain the pass cover number for the interrail mobile pass? I have seen several posts with this same issue but no good answer !Thanks.

Hello everyone, I have a train I’d like to book (Venice to Ljubljana on Saturday 31st July leaving at 0651am), this train is on the interail website but not my app.  a booking isn’t required for this train. However, I don’t understand how you can show up for a train without a booking. As all the stations I’ve been to this far, you need to show/scan a ticket or QR code to access the train platform.  is anyone able to help me with:how can I book this train as it doesn’t have anywhere I can book it on the webpage  how do you show up to a train without a reservation and any form of ticket/QR code?thank you! 

Hi! I plan to buy a eurrail ticket that is for 22 days straight through europe. I have 2 questions:1. are trips in ferry included?2.If i book a travel let's say from Copenhagen to Stockolm and it says in 2 of the connection trains that I need reservation. Hello, my boyfriend and I are going to start an interrail trip through Italy in a couple of days (We both have a mobile pass separate on our smartphones). So we wanted to reservate seats for our first train and did that from two different devices, because there was no option booking it for two people from one device. Now we have the seat reservations, but we aren´t sitting together at all. Is there a way to book it online so that we have neighbour seats in the train?

Hey guys, hopefully someone can help me. Together with 2 other students we're trying to reserve seats for our trip to Luzern. The seat resevations from FRANKFURT to MULHOUSE are required, but I'm not able to add them to my cart. When I click the 'Zo kun je deze verbinding boeken’ button and fill in the details on bahn.de, this is the result:The current trip is on the 15th of August, leavin Amsterdam at 9:07 AM and arriving in Luzern at 7:05 PM.Can someone please help, we're totally unsure of what to do. Hi everybody, I planned my trip and added them to my Global Pass so I already have tickets, but some of my train needs reservation. When I tried to book the first one from Milan to Frankfurt with the Rail Tool I saw available seats but it was impossible to add one to the chart, and it says that "the train has already been added tfor all travelers. Remove it first before making a new selection" (see picture). If I try to book another random train everything works. Did I do something wrong, maybe? Thank you!!  

Hi Community,due to the pandemic, trains between Norway and Sweden are not operating, at least not on the days I need. Instead, the VY company offers busses between Oslo and Goteborg respectively Karlstad. Is the Interrail pass valid for these busses? The answer is relevant for me, since this decides how much travel days I need. I am grateful for every answer!

Hello together,we got a few general questions regarding the reservation-booking. We used the reservation booking tool from interrail but it shows us following message for bookings in denmark:“No results were found for this connection. Please try again or find an alternative booking method.”. If I click on the alternative booking method, there’s either a callcenter provided or it says I have to book it at the trainstation. Is any trainstation meant or the trainstation in denmark where we want to take the train from? Is the callcenter also working for every country or only for switzerland, because there’s written that its especially for switzerland.  Is it also working if we just book/buy the reservations short time before the departure or do we have the risk that there’s no space left?    We are looking forward hearing from you!Alex & Friends We are travelling from germany to norway.

Hello all,  Well, with some friends we book a trip from paris to Berlin to Prague to Budapest. We have to book seat reservation from Paris to Karlshuhe HBF. But when we look at the price on the rail planner it’s only 13€. And then when we want to book our seat it’s 35€. We don’t understand the difference between this 2 prices.  Then, we have seen we must call the SNCF client service to book our seat without extra fee or extra price. Is it right ? Or can we just get on the train without reservation and take a seat in the train. We are a little bit lostThanks for your help  Bastien
