Train connections & reservations

Hello everyone, is it normal that I don't need a reservation for this ferry? I thought all ferries required a reservation. Also does anyone know this company? Will I get an inside cabin to sleep in? Will there be a window? Will I share the cabin with anyone?Thanks guys for your answers!  

Hi All!I just attempted to make the reservation for the Eurocity between Venice and Innsburck. First I tried the OeBB website, everything went pretty smooth, I was going to be charged €10 but it did not include a seat reservation, I would have to pay €3 extra for that, but I thought the initial €10 included the seat reservation. Also the website allows you an "upgrade” to first class for €5, but is this possible if you hold a 2nd class pass? I suppose not.Since I was unsure about paying the fees on the OeBB website, I tried directly with the Interrail reservation system. So I entered the connection info, and it said that for that route the price was €0 and I only had to pay €4 for the booking fee so now I am really confused.  I'd appreciate any answers and tips you can provide, thanks!

I made 3 reservation but for the same 3 Ihave got the same messageAlthough your payment went through, there seems to be a technical glitch at the moment which means that part of the order could not be confirmed with the train carrier

If I have a physical pass, how do I make a seat reservation on high speed Italian trains with a Eurail Global pass?

In the mobile app planner I searched for trains between St. Moritz and Zermatt Switzerland. Several are listed but the Glacier Express is not identified by name. How can I differentiate the Glacier Express from others on this route? thanks

Hallo :))Wir sind gerade dabei unsere Interrailreise fertig zu planen und verstehen nun nicht ganz wie wir Reservationen machen können. Auf den Internetseiten der Bahngesellschaften konnten wir nicht nur die Reservierung buchen und mit der Interrail-app waren wir überfordert. Hat jemand einen Tipp für uns? In der Interrailapp werden auch nicht alle Verbindungen angezeigt, ich habe irgendwo gelesen, dass man die fehlenden Verbindungen selbst hinzufügen kann… weiss jemand wie? Herzlichen Dank!!

Hello, me and my girlfriend bought global interrail pass since we plan to go to norway on august. We have allready plan severals stop to differents cities in Europe but when we search on the app a train to go from Göteborg in Sweden to Oslo in Norway on the 13 or 14 of august, it say that there is no trains, so we would like to know if there anythings wrong on this line. Hi iam struggeling to reserve/book the Nighttrain Split - Budapest.I tried it with both Croatian Rail (can´t prebook just when iam there :/  :)Hungarian Rail (Mav) it´s possible but must be collected at a International Ticket desk in Hungary.German Rail and Austrian Rail can´t find this train in their timetables and booking systems.Maybe one of you have a solution how to get tickets/reservation for this train in advance.My backup the Travelagency Wasteels In Budapest stopped to exist.

Hi,I‘m starting my interrail journey next week from Germany. For the TGV between France and Spain you only get a paper ticket by Mail for the seat reservations. But it would take too long for the Mail to arrive. Is it possible to book a seat reservation for these trains in a German or French train station? 

I want to make a reservation for some connections (specifically TGV in France) in about a month for myself and some friends. However I seem to be unable to do so.I can make a reservation for only myself, but as soon as more than one person is part of the trip it shows “NOT AVAILABLE” for every single connection (even though before it said that there are still many seats available). This is the case both for reservations for TGVs in France as well as high speed trains in Italy (which I tried as a test).Does anyone know what the problem is or - even better - how to circumvent this?

Hello, what it’s better to make la spezia-Rome ? take a regional train, or take a fast train and pay 12€ reservation? There are some trains without reservation for this destination? Because when I go on railplanner there are some trains without price, so it’s that  trains with or without reservation ? 

Hi everyone, i need some help with reservations for me and a friend for trains in Norway, I added my friends to my trip with their Mail and their order number. We all have the mobile pass, however when I want to make a reservation, the prices are unavailable. Since we have a really long trip we would like to sit together.I have already contacted customer service via Facebook and the email address has not yet received a response.Thank you for you help!

Greetings!I’ve planned an interrail trip around Europe this summer with the Global Pass 4 days in a month. For the last “train” day I booked the route Wien HBF to Roma Termini by the Nightjet train. However, a few days ago I checked the ÖBB website and I learned that due to works in Italy, the nightjet’s passengers to Roma will have to do a transfer in Bologna to the Frecciarossa 1000. The ÖBB explanation says:Dear Passengers,We very much regret to inform you.If you are planning to travel to/from Florence or Rome, on the days given on the back side of this information then unfortunately you will need to interrupt enjoyment of your journey in the Nightjet in Italy and transfer to Trenitalia replacement trains. Hey! I tried to book a reservation from Barcelona to Nice. Interrail Website says it would take a week to ship, but now the estimated time of arrival would be August. 4 weeks instead of 1 :( I am starting my trip in the End of July.What to do now? Where can I get the reservation on time? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I’ve been doing some research on potentially getting an Italy rail pass for a trip this summer. However, I’m having trouble finding a trip from Ravenna to Bologna on the Eurorail site. I can find trains for that leg on other sites. Romagna runs that trip and they seem to be a private train company. Does anyone know if they are covered in the rail pass or would I have to buy a separate ticket? Thanks in advance.

this morning I reserved a seat in a train Lausanne --> Paris, I received by mail a confirmation of payment, but I have no ticket with the indicated seat. I contacted the assistance but no answer. I don't know how to handle the situation :/

Hello,A few months ago, I bought the Interrail pass on the internet to be able to travel from France (Nantes) to Slovenia (Ljubljana). I have since done a lot of research on the best available ride and found one for August 2, 2021.Here is the summary of the journey:Nantes - Paris MontparnasseParis East - MunichMunich - LjubljanaI realized that all his trains had to reserve a seat, which was not a problem for me. But when I wanted to book these seats I realized that the Munich - Ljubljana route was impossible to book.(Here is the train reference: Euro Night, EN 50463, from Munich to Ljubljana journey from 11:20 PM to 05:57 AM)Even by trying directly on ÖBB (which is in charge of this train) it is still impossible to reserve a seat, even though they specify that with the Interrail pass it is possible to reserve a seat on this type of train. I have read that for Denmark a reservation is required for all trains. However, I cannot make a reservation for the Lindholm-Hirtshals connection, for example. What do I have to do here?

Hi there!I want to make a seat reservation for the TGV (Marseille to Paris) for me and three friends. Three of us have a mobile pass, one a paper pass. Is it possible to make such a reservation even though one of us has got a paper pass and the other three have their mobile passes on their own phones? How do I have to do that? Thanks for your reply!Laura

Hi!I booked my seats on four trains this week but only received two tickets in my mail. I need to get in contact with someone from interrail fast to receive my missing tickets because my travels start this sunday! So far I got no responses on e-mail or Facebook.  

Hi there, I want to travel with a friend from Austria to Italy. I’m using the Mobile Pass while my friend is using a Paper Pass.For me it’s possible to purchase a reservation for the IC connections on the website (but only for me!)For my friend it’s not possible. At the railroad counter he was told that it’s currently not possible to purchase a reservation for these trains. This are the trains we want to use: IC 731 , IC 730 and IC 732As i live in germany, i’ll try to ask on my local train station for a solution; but what can we do if they cant help us again?  Thanks in advance!
