Train connections & reservations

So my friends and I have bought the Interrail Pass separately. We have to make some reservation however we would like to sit together but do not know how to reserve a seat together. We all have our Interrail Pass on our separate devices…

Can I buy them on 9th july evening at the ticket shop at marseille charles?I ask this because I have read that I can only buy seat reservations for spanish/france trains at spain

In the Eurail train times, I see NT3731 for Paris to Portbou, but I can’t find NT3730 for Portbou, Spain to Paris.  Does NT3730 exists and if so how do I find the schedule and reserve a seat?

Since 1-2 years it’s no longer possible to make online seat reservations for the Eurocity train connecting Milano Centrale (Italy) and Basel SBB (Switzerland).I called both the Italian and Swiss operator to ask if it is possible to make a reservation on the phone. This was not possible. They also told me that it is not possible to make a seat reservation at the station.Based on what they told me, the Global Pass turns out to be useless for the EC trains. Only option is taking multiple (often delayed) regional trains.Does anyone have the same experience?

Hi, I am planning to go to Camaret-sur-mer in France, however the only way to get there is by taking bus from Brest, which is the last train stop on my way. The bus (no 34) is operated by SNCF. Do you think it would be covered by railpass or not?Thanks in advance… Petr

We booked a interrail Global pass for July.We want to go from Belgium tot Italy.Is is possible to take the Centovaliilijn from Switserland to Italy with the global pass?

Hello everybody, I am facing some kind of issue. I am looking for a train that link two cities from two different countries and the website show me that this is possible by train but this train doesn’t appear on the application. I don’t know which one I have to trust lol. I tried to get the train company name but it doesn’t appear on the website, just a reference is written or something like “international” or “regional” Did you face that kind of problem ? How to be sure that such train exists (without taking the risk of going directly in the trainstation without being sure of the existence of such train) Thank you very muchAll the best, Freyazz

Hi,I want to make some reservations for the TGV from Luxembourg to Paris and the Intercité de Nuit from Paris to Nice, but it seems they've removed the Interrail feature from their website.Is there any other way (besides the expensive Interrail service) to make reservations for these trains?

Hello Interrail community,I am about to purchase my pass. As my phone currently has a broken screen and I don’t know for certain by when I can have it fixed, I’d like to go ahead and book a paper pass for my interrail travels in mid-July. I want to go ahead and book my reservations immediately, but my paper pass would not arrive by registered mail until 4 July. Could anyone tell me whether I will be able to start booking reservations before it arrives or if I must wait for its arrival?Thanks!

Hi! I've been looking at the Interrail Greek Islands Pass but have a few questions:Are ferry routes from Heraklion to any island travelling with Anek Lines operated by Aigaion Pelagos included in the pass?  If I travel from Chania to Piraeus at 22:00 on July 12th and then from Piraeus to Paros at 09:30 on July 13th, does that count as 1 travel day or 2? Also, is the high-speed ferry from Piraeus to Paros at 09:30 on July 13th included in the pass or not?

Bonjour à tous, j’ai besoin de votre aide svp je suis entrain de compléter mon trajet sur le planner mais j’ai quelques problèmes notamment par rapport;- nombre de jours consommés, j’ai réservé le trajet de nuit Budapest - Bucarest qui fait le départ à 19h10 et qui arrive à midi sauf que sur le décompte des jours ça me compte deux jours ! Est ce normal ? Sachant que je ne fait aucun changement de train ! - je n’arrive pas à trouver le trajet Bucarest - Istanbul ! Comment puis je faire pour réserver mon billet ? - je ne sais pas comment réserver les sièges depuis l’application ? Merci beaucoup pour votre aide. Bonne journée 

Hey, I was trying to make a reservation on the ItaliaRail Website. Sadly, they say may passnumber is not valid. Did somebody had a similar issue of any tips?  

 Hello!☀️My plan is to interrail now on Sunday 27/7 but I’m really struggling to find train connections on these routes. StockholmBerlinAmsterdamLjubljana MostarSkopjeThessaloniki PiraeusMykonos Has someone done a similar trip or even now if it’s possible to implement? I find routes from Stockholm-Berlin-Amsterdam and also from Thessaloniki Piraeus-Mykonos but I’m really struggling with the ones in the middle😕 I am also wondering if someone knows how to easiest book reservations? For Stockholm-Berlin I can’t do it in the app and can't find any other website. If you have any tips, experiences och solutions please PM me or comment below🥰🌻 

Hi!I realize a trip with interrail in july, I plan my trip on the application rail planner, some train must to have seat reservation, but I don’t konw where I can reserve? I have only the name of the train.For example, one train is THA 9369 so it is thalys company for Paris-Bruxelles and I don’t found the way to reserve. The others I found the website like czechtransport.com but I see only the truth price...Can you help me?Thank for your answer. Arthur Mocquard

Salut tout le monde! Je voyage avec Interrail cet été, je pars de Cracovie pour aller jusque Athènes! J’ai ajouté au pass ( via l’application) les différents voyages mais certains nécessitent une « seat réservation ». Je n’arrive pas réservé sur l’application est ce que c’est possible? Je n’y arrive que sur le site internet mais on ne me propose que de ne m’envoyer les billets par la poste ( ce qui est long et coûteux)… Existe-t-il un moyen d’acheter les réservations en ligne et d’obtenir un billet informatique ?merci par avance!!

Hey Travel Guys,This year I like to go to Scandinavia and Baltic States.Has anyone experience how get from Copenhagen to Oslo? There are connections on the map, but it's not possible in the Interrail App - Rail planner.Do you any advice?Or take a bus? Do you recommend to go over Malmö & Gothenburg or via Stockholm? Thank you and many greetings

Hi there!Is there a way to go from Ljubljana to Zadar, or from anywhere in Croatia to Zadar?Zadar doesn’t appear on the app (neither on the rail planner or the DB navigator) and it seems that are no trains going there but if I google a little, the prices of the trains show up.Has anyone ever been to Zadar with the interrail pass?

Hi!I wanted to go from Vienna to Split but all the trains require seat reservation and I need to save money 😅Does anyone know a way to get this trip but with no seat reservations? Also, is there a way to get to Dubrovnik with the interrail pass? I can’t seem to find the journey on the rail planner app.Thank you! 

Is this booking best done via the interrail app or can I do it on db.de?Either way how do I do it?

Hi all! I am planning to go to St-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie in France from Germany and have been recommended to buy interrail global pass. However, I cannot find this destination on the interrail website, although I can find some train lines held by DB, SNCF and Ter on the DB or SNCF websites. Is this place covered? In addition, I have heard that I need a seat reservation for SNCF. How can I reserve the seat?

I was making some seat reservations for my trains but I cannot proceed to the payment. I selected all of my trains and times and then I filled in my personal information and checked the whole order. But then I cannot go further to the payment section, even though I selected the button that I accept the booking terms and conditions. So something is going wrong. Hopefully someone can help me with that because I really want to book them this weekend. I already tried to use a different browser, I used safari and chrome and the same problem occurred.Edit: I want to book:Bruxelles midi - Paris (Thalys) Paris - Barcelona (TGV) Barcelona - Nimes (Renfe) Nimes - Marseille (Intersites) Nice - Paris (TGV) Paris - Schiphol (Thalys)
