Hi everyone, I’m trying to reserve seats on a train from Venice to Paris on 19 July but there only some very long and slow options currently available. Will the faster trains become available later? It’s just I’m worried about booking the right Eurostar connection.thanks for your help!
Hello allMy partner and I are from Australia and want to get a 10 day pass.. this seems all great and all but how do you which trains require reservations and not ? We want to travel from Munich- Switzerland-Austria- back up Germany and then Netherlands.. all I could see was tou need reservations for high speed and night trains... Are you always able to get a train with this 10 day pass without reserving ? It is just hard to pre book everything as things don't always work out or run on time in your favourThanks community 🙏 Marty and Verity
What should I do if the train i booked is late and I don't catch the next train on time?
Hey, i was trying to add to my pass some train from london or edimburgh, but doesn’t matter which destination i put, the interrail.eu website tell me i can’t boo kthe seat from this website. What i have to do for booking seat and adding this trains on my pass?
Hi, although tickets are available for the Berlin to Paris nightjet, it is impossible to get seat reservation (nor couchette) on any night train on this route as for february, march or april.I tried on OBB website, nightjet website, DB website none is working. As for the interrail booking system, I must already own a pass to try to see the fees.Any information about why is it so difficult on this particular route?
For the trains that don't require seat reservation it is enough to show the QR code from the Discover EU App, or it is necessary something else, too?
Hi there,I’m trying to book a train from Paris to Amsterdam on Sunday, April 13th. Weirdly, Eurostar doesn’t have any bookings possible on their website for that day (greyed out that weekend as well as Fri-Sun the weekend after, Easter weekend) and other 3rd-party sites (raileurope.com, omio) do have train options with Eurostar but require two transfers… Maybe there’s no service for the holidays? Not sure...So now I’m looking at Monday, April 14th since those have direct trains but I’m not sure how I can book one ticket with an Interrail pass and three tickets without an Interail pass for my sister and her two kids. I live in Berlin so it’s not possible for us to get to a Eurostar terminal to book the tickets. I could try asking a friend but was hoping there might be another solution? Any help would be much appreciated!Thank you!
I am traveling with my daughter (3yo). She does not hold an eurail pass, since you can’t purchase one for minors under 4. I will be taking trains leaving and returning the European Union (going to and back from London) but I don’t know if she needs to have a booked seat for those trains.

This will be my fourth time using a global interrail pass and thought I’d learnt all the lessons but I’m stressing out about an upcoming trip to Switzerland and hoping someone can help me out.I used the b-Europe website to reserve seats on the Eurostar from London to Paris return. The trip is at the end of May so sorting the Eurostar seats was the priority. We need to be in Paris for lunchtime on Sat 31 May to catch our Eurostar. But now I’m struggling to book the 09:34 TGV service from Basel to Paris on 31 May. There doesn’t seem to be any option for Interrail pass holders to reserve seats and I don’t know whether it’s because they’ve sold out or have just not been released. I’ve looked on various sites, including the TGV Lyria website - I couldn’t find anything conclusive as to when the tickets will be released. I’m looking at alternative routes, but also struggling to find anything for Sat 31 May to get us back to Paris from Switzerland.Appreciate any advice, or info on whether the

Hi, im trying to book seat reservations to travel from Narvik to Stockholm in March but when i enter my Pass Cover Number it tells me this:The card number isn't valid for booking journeys in SJ's digital sales channels. I am travelling in mid May. As it in January , some of the reservations in Europe aren't yet available - In order to get a Eurostar reservation, is it better to book now as everything I have read say they sell fast?- If my plans change, how easy/costly is it yo change the reservation? About reservations in France and Italy - how soon are they generally possible to book?- if i miss a connection due to delay of a previous train, do I contact interrail or someone else?- if it is a train with no reservations, i assume I just turn up and get on?- are the times on the rail europe website accurate, or is it necessary to double check the train operator website? If i book with Rail Europe for the , eg, 1000 train, but the train operator timetable states it is actually 1115, which train have i actually reserved, and is it a problem?Thank you for your patience
Hey ! Good morning to you all, new to this interail adventure. There's one thing I don't understand. I am looking for trains from Rome to Frankfurt with minimal transfers on June 20, 2025 without many transfers. I think I would need a seat reservation because the train starts in Italy, and if so where do I do this, and how would I ensure I get a reservation so I could sit near a friend as well? We both have global Eurail/Interrail passes. Any recommendations for specific trains/routes/times? 1 day travel would be amazing, but I am also open to staying overnight along the way and continuing the next day for a more relaxing journey. Any suggestions for a 1 day route and/or 2 day route for this journey? Thanks for any help and ideas!
I am planning a Europe trip to breeze through 3 cities Paris, London, and Asterdam within 4 days in February 2025. My search made me believe the cheapest option is to use high speed train using Global Flex Pass. I got passes for 4 of us and now am trying to reserve /book seats for this trip via Eural app and website. None is straight forward or available for me and my family to book. I am frustrated because my trip is for the duration Feb 14th to Feb 17th. Please help me figure this out because this is my first time trying to use Eurail and high speed train
Hey all, I’m planning to depart from Edinburgh towards Amsterdam (plus additional destinations after).I thought it would be great to take the ferry from Harwich to Hoek van Holland, but the travel planner is not showing me the ferry, even when I specifically make a stop at Harwich.Do you know if the ferry is covered?
I am a single male traveller trying to book an overnight sleeper from Hamburg to Stockholm on 2nd February on SJ Trains, it will only offer me ‘women only’ sleeping compartments, does that mean the rest are sold out also do I pay a discounted price with my Interrail pass
Hello Everyone,I’m wanting to make my seat reservations with OBB for tickets from Rome to Venice, Venice to Milian, Zurich to Paris, when I put this in and select 2nd class it does not show any seat options. So, when will it show me my seat options, and will it come to a point to where I can change them if my husband and I are not seated together? Thanks in advance for anyone’s help
I shall be travelling from London to Paris on 14 MayMy previous train should arrive at Kings Cross at 940- Would it be feasible to get the 10:24 Eurostar, or would it be wiser to allow the full recommended 90 minutes?- if I book the 11:31 Eurostar, but got to St Pancras in time for the 10:24, how likely are they to allow me on the earlier train?- if i reserved seats on onward trains through France based on the later Eurostar, would it be possible to rebook on an earlier train? If it were, how could this be done, and what sort of cost would be involved?I apologise if these questions seem basic, but Ive never interrailed before, and would hate to make a mess of it
Please could someone advise the cheapest route (ie lowest reservations) travelling from Naples to Paris in a single day, likely to be 20 May, or thereabouts.I can leave Naples very early Thanks
