Train connections & reservations

I am planning the following trip from Sevilla to Porto involving 3 reservations,provisionally on September 12, using my Interrail Pass(data from Bahn)Sevilla s. M-Chamartin      1120  A 4115Vigo Urzais                  1538  IC 422  dep.Vigo Guixar         1956Porto Campanha          2118An alternative is an all-day Flixbus from Sevilla to Porto for 34 euros, saving an Interrail travel day.What is the total cost of the reservations in comparison? I’m planning to travel from London to Osnabrueck via Brussels and Koeln at the end of this month. The train from Brussels to Koeln has a reservation fee that depends on what time you catch the train. If I buy a reservation, and then miss the connection because Eurostar is late, what happens then? If the next train has a more expensive reservation fee, do I pay the difference, or what?This must be such a common issue - but never had to do this before.TIA!

Greetings I need some advice.  I am currently in Nimes and would like to visit the Chauvet cave.  After a long search I found the only option to get there by public transport.  Ať first tgv to Valence and then ter bus to Vallon pont d'arc.  As I read in other posts here on the forum, railpass should be valid in ter bus, although I'm not sure if it's still true and if the bus driver will know it too.  App shows me that they also need a Seat reservation for this bus. 1. Do I really need to reserve a seat for this bus?2. Does anyone know of any other way to get to Chauvet Cave in a different way and earlier, or at least how to leave Vallon Pont d'arc later.  I found the last connection to the train station at 17.00. Thank you for your help

Trying to book Paris - Bern, I needed to book Paris-Gare de Lyon - Basel reservation. However, the eurail site didn’t worked at all according to error “being not able to press ‘continue to traveler details’ button”. i’ve tried to find alternative website from  to reserve Paris-Gare de Lyon - Basel, but there was no website that can reserve it.(Only domestic lines were able to book at “travel.b-europe website for national rides in France”) Is there any alternative website that can book international rail Paris to Basel?

Now I got 2 tickets( me &my wife ) and took the reservation seats number through rail planner ApI accidently booked  seat separately so My seat is too far from my wifeI'd like to change my seat so that sit togetherHow can I adjust reservation seat number ?

I have to buy a reservation for this Night Jet train , i am doing this in the oebb website but i dont know if i have to choose one way ticket or seat reservation only. 

I would like to know if the train between munich and prague is booked up or it is an error of the obb reservations platform because that train say the IR it is a regional 

Hello,I'm about to go on my first trip to Europe with an interrail pass. Before I even set off, the first problem has already appeared.I booked a seat on the TGV from Munich to Paris for Wednesday the 21st. Booked on raileurope.com The train was supposed to leave at 8:35, so that's what I have on my reservation, but I got an email from SNCF saying that the departure time had been changed to 8:20 and that the ticket would be automatically updated.If I have a seat reservation where the departure time is 8:35, will that reservation still be valid after the change in departure time, or do I have to re-book the seat for the new time?A minor problem is that I can no longer book seats on that 8:20 train online via raileurope.What can I do now? Anyone can help me?  

hi all-  I am tripping with a larger group (6 in total) mid September, coming from glasgow. Bonjour, je pensais prendre un train de nuit d'Amsterdam à Bâle le 28 août, mais il semble qu'il ne fonctionne pas. Donc ça devient compliqué pour nous. Notre destination finale est Mulhouse. J'ai vu que nous pouvions passer par Paris mais je ne peux pas faire une réservation sur le site de la SNCF. Ça me semble cher... Auriez-vous des conseils à me donner ? pour un voyage sans avoir à changer de train 6 fois... traverser l'Allemagne ?Merci d'avance.

Hi! In April I want to travel southbound trough the Baltic states, completely by train. I saw that in the weekends the connection time in Valga is 13 minutes instead of 3 hours. I was wondering if trains in Estonia have a good punctuality and if this connection is trustable. Has anyone experience with this? Or can I better bet on a 3 hour transit?Also, is there anyone who knows if there might come better connections next year?Thanks in advance for your answers!

Some good news on the trains from Bruxelles to Köln and Frankfurt. All of these are now brand new ICE 3 neo sets. Just travelled back to London without a single cancellation or delay on them. Unfortunately there are a lot of problems on the North South axis due to major engineering work in the Mannheim Frankfurt area. Don’t plan itineraries with short connections in Koln on this route    

HelloDo you know if reservations on ICE between Zurich and Geneva are compulsory in August?I forgot to book the seat and there are no more seats available on the train I want to take.I'm not sure whether I should make a reservation on a train two hours later or try to find a seat on the one I want....Thank you for your advice

Hi - Can someone please help me with the best train option using global pass from paris to bruges. We are planning to start around 8 am and return same day by 8 pm. We are planning this late September , should I book/reserve the tickets now itself?

I notice that in the past year Trenitalia have adopted an electronic validation procedure for e-tickets on regional trains.  Presumably this is the electronic version of getting a time stamp for one’s ticket before setting off.  I just wanted to check that there is nothing additional one needs to do with an interrail pass when taking regional trains in Italy.Peter

Hello, I reserved seats Vienna to Prague on the 4th of Sept. On the app. it showed only Breclav to Prague booked nothing about Vienna to Breclav. I also see that some reservations ask for a shipping address to send tickets. I just need email tickets as the delivery dates for the tickets is while I am travelling and would not know exactly where I would be. Thanks Rick 

I’m desperately trying to get a train to paris for next week then down to bezziers i need to travel on wednsday 14th  there are littereally no trains avaialble.  it’s a total waste of money paying so much for my intreail ticket and i cant get where i want ?  any one help. i’ve tried reserving through https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#Outbound and still nothing!!

HiI want to book a TGV seat from Paris to Nimes on raileurope.com (28. 8.)  I found information that it should show the seat number before payment, but I don't see any number on the checkout page. The only option is to select a seat aisle/window or upper/lower deck. Am I doing something wrong, or does raileurope no longer show the seat number?I have bought global pass but not activated yet. Thanks for answer.

Do you now is it possibile to "improve" my reservation for the Trenitalia INI774 from Roma Termini to Trieste Centrale? I have already booked a 5€ seat, but I would change it with a "Couchette" seat (43€).I have already tried on the “reservation overview” section, but it doesn’t work.

Hello fellow travelers 👋I'm looking for information regarding my trip from Bruxelles to Bordeaux. I'd be traveling with the One Country Pass for France. My question: is the Thalys train connection Bruxelles-Midi to Paris Nord included in the One Country Pass for France and do I only need to pay for the reservation or do I have to buy a separate ticket which is not the Interrail one? It is a direct connection so I don't know which rule applies. Your help would be appreciated 🙏 

we missed the night train last night (train announced late and in the end it arrived 1 hour early and was announced only one minute before its arrival at the platform!) in short! we are stuck in Hamburg and impossible to find a train to go to Stockholm: reservation required and full trains. I try to look via the deutsche bahn application but impossible to enter the interrail passes. we are this close to returning to France! can someone help me find a solution? thank you

hello, we are leaving in August and are going to cross Germany. I will have to book the train between Hamburg and Copenhagen on August 19. Is it normal that the reservation fees are 3 euros on OBB and 5.20 euros on bahn.fr? Do you think we can take the risk of making these reservations at the station a few days in advance? Do I have to print the reservations or can the control be done on the smartphone? I read a lot that German trains are always late, if you miss a reserved train, what happens? because on August 19 we leave from Berlin Hamburg (non-reservable) then Hamburg Copenhagen. we will also do Copenhagen Amsterdam on August 25th..so passing through Germany. I ask a lot of questions because this is the first time we will travel by interrail. THANKS
