Hi, I’m trying to get seat reservations from Lille Europe direct to Avignon on TGV #9830 for 17 May (bypassing Paris) but whichever site (Rail Europe/SNCF/SNCB) I try to book on, it shows the full price tickets without the Eurail Pass discount. Eurail Planner does not have this direct option and only offers routes with a change at Paris (Nord-Gare Lyon) which I’m trying to avoid as I’m travelling with children.Have all the Pass Holder seats been filled up? I’ve been checking this route regularly since Dec 2023 but of course tickets are not open for sale yet, and now they are available but without the pass dicount 🤔Hoping to hear some expert advice from the pros 💪🏻Thanks in advance!
I made a reservation for a berth 6 person seat for 66 euros. But I don't know if this seat is a cuschet, sleeper, or just a sitting seat. And I can't choose the seat location, is it normal?
Hi,I'm trying to book a night train reservation for Budapest Keleti (departure 23.10) to Cluj Napoca on 3 March. I have tried booking through the ÖBB website, but the interrail discount is not being applied, and I end up with the full price of €72 for a couchette. When I enter Vienna as starting location however, I can make a reservation for €13.40.When I check the train with MAV the availability is still high, but the interrail discount, even though it can be added to your person, does not alter the price. There the ticket for a couchette is € 42 though. What would happen if I book Vienna to Cluj for €13.40, but board in Budapest? Will my reservation be voided if I don't get on the train within 30 minutes of departure?
Hey, I’m completely new here, I’m trying to plan a trip from Lyon to Finland (whatever the city). My goal is to go the furthest north I can with the Global pass. In also don’t have a limitation on the numbers of days for the pass yet. My problem is that none of the cities cited on the website in Finland seems to work in the interrail app, and the network seems to end in Sweden. PS : I intend to maybe take the bus to go to Saint-Petersburg to go see a friend, but I didnt research on Russian limitations for European travelers yet and it’s just a possibility I thought of not my end goal. Thanks in advance
We were planning to travel overnight from Zermatt to Venice. It says 7 hrs but wasn’t able to find any trains on the Eurail timetable. What would the best train with shortest time be from Zermatt to Venice using Global Eurail pass without extra charges?Your guidance would be helpful! Thanks in advance,
I am intending to purchase the Berlin to Krakow train on 14/4/24 when it becomes available. What is the procedure for reserving the seat before so as not to miss a seat x2. Being a newcomer to the Eurail Pass system I understand that I need to activate the pass on the day but it is how to go about doing the seat reservation that I am still not clear on. Thanks in anticipation for your reply and clarification.
Hi - I’m looking at trains from Vienna Hbf to the airport for 2nd May and the OBB timetable is only showing a couple of options available in the morning. Most of them say ‘Ticket not available’ either with or without the Interrail pass filter on. Does this mean they are all fully booked already? I want to leave from Hbf as I’m staying near there. Thank you
Hi, We have a Global Eurail pass and will be traveling from Amsterdam to Bruges the day AFTER Kings Day. We expect a lot more “traffic” than usual on the trains that day. The website says “You’re ready to board” without a reservation, but a friend who recently returned from Europe said that they had a few occasions where were turned away on the day due to the train being full, despite the website saying no reservation was required. It is possible, or advised, that we pay for a reservation “just in case”? Or are we being silly? If reservations are recommended, how do I do this under the circumstances.Thank you soooo much in advance.Di Borg
Hi,I am looking to book reservations against my EURail Pass for Italian trains on OBB. I came across this ÖBB Reservierungsvorteil at 24.90 Euro which offers 50% discount on seat reservations.https://shop.oebbtickets.at/en/shop/folder/d550661042eb9db9f1603f495667d19eDoes it work? I am looking to buy substantial reservations for my family's train journey's between Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan totalling upto 228 Euro. Will this pass actually cut the reservation cost down to 50%? This is non-cancellable, so I am bit sceptical about buying.

hello,My understanding is 1st class eurail passes translate to standard premier on eurostar. 1st class was available for our trip and we paid the 1st class reservation rate on SNBC, but I see the tickets are in carriage 14 and that is a standard carriage. If anyone has insight on why that is, I would appreciate it. Thanks,Allie
I'd like to book TGV Lyria Paris to Geneva on May 24th, and Basel to Paris on June 2nd but tickets are not available yet. Does anyone know when sales will be open?
I am trying to book a seat reservation for a train from Zagreb Glavni Kol to Ljubljana on May 16 from 19:40 to 21:47. When I go to the eurail website to book the seat reservation, it says N/A for price and underneath it says "facilities unavailable". I do not know if that means that the train is fully booked, or if it just means that I need to book the seat reservation at the train station in person. Any help is appreciated.
I bought a seniors Eurail pass and now realise I can’t use the pass to book the Eurostar to London from Paris as they don’t have a Seniors fare. What do I do? Do I get a refund on the pass and buy an Adult pass or somehow pay the difference in the fares on the Eurostar. I wish I had known I couldn’t travel in and out of London on the Seniors pass before I bought it!

HiI've used this site https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish but I can't see TGV 5537 for May 13 2024 (14:05 Colmar to 17:56 Lyon on Rail Planner app. Therefore I cannot add this journey to my Trip in the app. On RailPlanner app I only see - TGV 2239 running the same time and same route. On Rail Europe.com & Trainline.com, you see both TGV 5537 & TGV 2239 Does anyone know why this is happening? How can I rectify the situation?Thank you.
In March my family and I will be traveling from London (St. Pancras) to Berlin HBF via Brussels Zuid and Koeln. I am attempting to purchase tickets for the leg from Brussels Zuid to Koeln HBF using my Eurail Global Pass - 1st class. However, every time I add that leg to my journey I get an error and I cannot buy the passes. Help?
Hi - another timetable query from me. I’ve been looking at the trains from Salzburg to Vienna on 29th April 2024 on the OBB websute and this message has come up.Construction work - Train cannot runLinz/Donau Hbf <=> Wels HbfDue to construction work some local-trains cannot operate between Linz/Donau Hbf and Wels Hbf/Attnang-Puchheim Bahnhof from 29/04/2024 through 29/06/2024.We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. There seem to be a mix of trains in the search results - Railjets (marked in red) and some marked WB (in blue). The WB trains stop at Westbahnhof - are these the local trains referred to in the warning message? If so, does this mean the Railjets will run according to the timetable? Many thanks
I booked seats from London to Paris and paid for the seat reservation. I would like to change the time we leave. Do I make this change on the app,or do I need to login to Eurail.com? Is this even possible to do with my Eurail Pass?
