Hello,I am trying to reserve seats for my Christmas holiday with my 4-day pass, but I am getting an error message when I go to pay for the seat reservations. My trips are from Copenhagen to Munich on 27 Dec and Munich to Zurich on 30 Dec.I found the trains I would like to take, and I go through the steps to reserve, but at the end, it says I cannot book certain parts of the trip.I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I don’t think that the trains are full, because I went to the DB website, and it shows that there are seats available.Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I wish to go from Paris to Narbone. When I request train times through this site, is does not show all the trains listed for TGV InOui. Is the pass not good on all trains between those cities? Does not show a train leaving at 11:46am arriving at 4:13pm which exists.
Good day everyone. I want to ask in behalf of my friend who is travelling to Europe next month. She has purchase her pass and save trips as well but I wondered regarding this saved trip of hers as it didn’t have that activation button at all?hence, I was a bit confused. Thanks for allyour responses
The reserved ticket to Venice has been canceled due to the weather. I bought it on Eurail's website, so Obb told me to ask here. I'd like to receive compensation for the pass period spent and the amount of canceled tickets.
Hello everyone, My wife and I are planning to travel from Milan to Roma. We have already made our seat reservations, but after checking out, we found that we were placed in different carriages. Does anyone know how to adjust our seat reservations so that we can be in the same carriage and have adjacent seats? Thank you Additionally, when making a seat reservation, can we select the specific train carriage and seat number we want? If so, how can we view the available carriages and seats?
I am wanting to book a Nightjet train from Salzburg to Venice on December 26th. These don’t seem to be on sale yet - when should they be available to purchase
I am planning a travel from Denmark to the Pyrenees, where I will be hiking. That means I will bring some camping equipment with me. This includes items that are not allowed on Eurostar trains. But since Eurostar is faster than most other trains it will often show up when I search for the part of the journey that goes between Germany and Paris. Are there any train route planners where it is possible to exclude Eurostar trains? On Bahn.de I can exclude high speed train. But that will also exclude trains like ICE and TGV. Palle Dam, Denmark
Hi all! I’m trying to book seat reservations on IC 1073 (Bern - Interlaken) for mid-December 2023 and haven’t had any luck on the Eurail website or the www.cd.cz website which Eurail recommends as an alternative to book seat reservations. Getting the following error on Eurail website:“Prices unavailableNo price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.” The other website also comes with this error:“Internal system error (103)” Does anyone have any idea or may have encountered this problem? Could it just be that they haven’t made the seat reservations available yet for the trains? Any help is appreciated! Thank you :)
Just a few questions for an upcoming trip with a couple of kids…what’s the difference between when a trip says “you’re ready to board” and “you’re ready to board. You can purchase a reservation if you’d like”? we have a few trips with train changes. I’d like to add the whole trip to my eurail app. Is there a way to do that or do I have to pull up each trip individually? I’ve purchased reservations for the ones required, but they don’t show up in “my trip” for some reason. They are under ‘my reservations” is there a place to see what terminals the tickets are associated with? I’ll be with two little kids and some of these transfers are quick. I don’t think we’re going to use all the days I purchased the pass for. Is there a way to downgrade without affecting my reservations? Thanks!
Hello. I see there are lots of people asking about seat reservations, although most are travelling in continental Europe. I recently completed an 8-day First Class UK-only Interrail trip and I’d like to share my experiences. Basically, in the UK, despite what the app. says you DO NOT need seat reservations for most trains, even long-distance expresses, apart for the exceptions I’ll list below. There seems to be some inconsistency within the app/website itself where the Rail Planner says reservations ARE ‘required’ for just about everything but local trains and yet the help section says they are merely ‘recommended’. I see that as a cash-grab by Interrail - trying to sell those reservations at 6 Euro a shot through their own portal. The exceptions are:Eurostar (obviously). The two overnight sleeper services to/from London (GWR to Penzance and Caledonian Sleeper to Scotland) where seat reservations are mandatory, even in the seated coaches.LNER. Here, seat reservations ARE required
Hello community, just one question. Is it possible to board a train that requires a seat reservation even without a reservation? The latter secures a seat or bed, but I would be fine with standing. is it possible to even just stand on the train, or do they really not let me on if I haven't made a reservation? Thank you!
(ENG)Hello everyone, Yesterday I took my train from Ventimiglia (Italy) to Nice (France). The train was about twenty minutes late, which meant I missed my train from Nice to Paris. An INOUI train that had cost me €22 including tax. So I took another train via Interrail, which also cost me €22. I want a refund for my first Nice-Paris train. However, when I went to the station ticket office, I was told that I had to request my refund on
I am trying to book in a train on Sunday 29th Oct from Rotterdam (Netherlands) to Paris. There is no seats available when I search through the Rail Planner app but when I search through Eurostar directly, it is showing tickets available on the 10:14am service. I can book directly through Eurostar but I have a Global pass that I have paid for and want to use. is there any way of booking that time with my global pass? It seems the brussels-Paris leg of the trip is the one without available seats, any alternatives to get to Paris on Sunday would be appreciated.
I wasn’t aware of how limited the seats were and did not book the reservation. I tried to book today for this Sunday 29th but was surprised to find out it was full. I need to get back to London to fly back home. I am very desperate, can someone please provide me any suggestions? Will they take any foot passengers? or anyone please suggest alternative routes to get me to london by the latest the 31st?
We are trying to go from Salzburg Hbf (Austria) to Heidelberg Hbf (Germany) on November 25th, using our multi-day Eurail passes; I was looking through the costs of buying reservations because someone mentioned it is nice to have so you have a guaranteed seat, and then I noticed our original planned train (nonstop leaving at 2pm) wasn't showing up anymore on my app; I then updated the app and searched that route again and that train was no longer listed, I am guessing it was cancelled? Anyway, now I am getting super paranoid about our train rides because I guess as this is the low season, they occasionally cancel trains? I have never had this happen before, but maybe because I would just book trains right before leaving.Anyway, sorry for the long question, but I found a new train showing up on my Eurail app from Salzburg to Heidelberg (13:00-17:34; 13:00 Salzburg to Muenchen Hbf on RJX 60, 14:28 Meunchen to Mannheim, ICE 914, and then 17:23 Mannheim to Heidelberg on IC 2046).Are you see
Hi all, Feeling a bit frustrated here. I’ve been trying to get trains tickets for after Dec 10th. Apparently the times were just downloaded yesterday. I was only able to get one purchase through. All of the rest are not going through. Getting error message with no explanation. Try later… Is this normal? This platform is not overly user friendly, Thanks for any advice.
Hi there, My name is Tom and i’m thinking about interrailing next Spring. I just wondered what people’s idea is on hostels? Should i book these in advance for each city?My route will be London-Amsterdam-Prague-Vienna-Rome-Paris-London.I thought it would be a good idea to book the hostel in Amsterdam, but then i might decide to spend an extra day in Prague. If i do it would change my plan, not the end of the world but not great.Or would it be easier to pay for them whilst i am on the trip? If i do a bit of planning before i go i can work out where to stay.Any opinions?Tom
HeyMy girlfriend and I are going on a train adventure in November and are planning on going from Budapest to Bar in Montenegro but are struggling in finding a route. Does someone now a good route? We think to stop in Split or Beograd.

Hi, I am trying to reserve seats for TGV INOUI Frankfurt to Colmar using SCNF. Does anyone know how, as I do not see the option to rserve only and there is no option for Eurail? - or are there any other Eurail friendly sites I can use? Also noting that b-europe is not an option, as it only seems to show stations in France. Thanks

Hello, At the end of december I want to travel from Roma Termini to Palermo. Leaving the 27th from Roma at 23:00 (11pm). At the Italiarail website it's possible to by a couchette ticket but without Interrailpass. The Interrail website doesn't show this train. How can I buy a ticket using Interrail? Do I need to wait untill the Interrailwebsite show this train (with tjhe risk the couchettes are sold out) or can I buy the ticket for full price and get a refund later via Interrail?Best Regards,Jan
We have a Eurorail Pass and would like to travel from Chur to Brig. What do we need in addition to the Eurorail Pass to do the Glacier Express? Also if we would take local trains, rahter than the Glacier Express, can you give me a route we would travel with stops?Thank you.
Hi all,It looks like every train from Frankfurt to Paris on the day I need to travel there is booked out in second class, however, they all have 1st class seats available for reasonable prices. My interrail ticket is, however, a 2nd class ticket.Does this 2nd class specification only apply to train rides without a seat resevervation? Or does it mean I cant use it combined with a 1st class reservation at all? Thanks all,Erik
