Train connections & reservations

Hello, i have a reservation in the ICE from Frankfurt to Paris Est. Nevertheless I cannot enter that train in Frankfurt since my commuting train changed its plan and doesn’t stop in Frankfurt anymore. Next option is for me to enter the same train in Mannheim. Now I have the question how my seat reservation will be controlled and whether it’s still valid then? I am a bit unsure since it’s a mandatory thing to go to France and all other seat reservations are booked out

Hi all, I want to go from France to Germany later in August, I tried making the reservation through https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish, unfortunately, it says that no sits are available with an Interrail pass. What I’m struggling to understand is that it works for Eurail pass. I’m struggling to understand why, any idea ? I guess I cannot book an Eurail sit with an Interrail pass ? Many thanks :) 

Hi! So I am backpacking the UK + Ireland and France from Aug to Sept, alone. Lots of people mentioned the EURail but I was wondering if the pass also allows for use of transit (train, bus, etc) between smaller places such as London and Bath, or Glenfinnan and Glasgow, or Nice and Monaco.I am quite literally in a different place every 1-2 days (except for London, Nice, Paris where I’ll be staying for about a week each). So I want a transit pass that works well to get around each place as I know public transport can be costly or weird.I am super confused, so any help would be appreciated!

Hi all, Kiwi here attempting to book train seats from Paris to Cassis on the 10th August for myself and my travel mate. We both have the EUrail 2nd class pass, however, when going to reserve our seats through the EUrail seat reservation we get the infamous ‘no longer available’ message.I have checked the b-europe.com availablity and there doesn’t appear to be any trains available to reserve seats on this day.Is there any other sites to check for seat reservations or is it just EUrail.com and b-europe.com?Have we simply left it too late and there are not seats available to reserve? or am I missing something?Any alternatives for trains/booking methods is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hi,i want to take the train on 11 August 12:06 from Frankfurt to Zürich (and back on sunday at 13:59), but without using my homecountry,so i have a ticket for the german part. But how can i add the austrian part to the ticket? manually it does not shows a train ticket and i do not know which railway station to chose in austria.Can someone give me an advice. Thanks

I'm currently traveling to Portugal from Spain. There's a direct train from Madrid-Chamartin to Vigo Urzáiz (ALV 4115).To get to Porto in Portugal, you can take a direct from Vigo Guixar (IC 422).Can you walk from Vigo Urzáiz to Vigo Guixar? Is it the same station?  

Hello!My friend and I are starting our Interrail next week. It is becoming very difficult to book two seats from Venezia St.. Lucia to Villach HBF. We would like to book a night train.We have tried it on Interrail.com, Treinitalia and OBB's website, and we haven't been able to book them.We would really appreciate some help and a solution.Thank you :)

We are currently traveling with an Interrail pass. We’d like to travel on Aug 3rd, 16:42 from Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbf to Utrecht Centraal (arrival 19:59). I booked seat reservations through the OBB-website (€12 for 2 adults + 2 kids for free).Now, I wanted to add this journey in the Railplanner app (to create a QR-code ticket) but can’t find it there.When I go to the Interrail website, I do see the journey. I thought I could probably add this journey (and create a ticket because I’m logged in). Is that even possible through the website?Furthermore, it says on the website that I need to make seat reservations for €32 euro (€6pp + €8 booking fee). But we don’t need that because we already have seat reservations…. Underneath, there’s also another notification saying ‘Additional supplement required’ (boarding or in the train, but it doesn’t say how much?).What should I do?

we booked 2 seats from Viareggio to Milan e from Milan to Paris, i got the reservation emails but i can’t find the trains on rail planner anymore, therefore i can’t add them to my trip.

Do I have to make a seat reservation here, or can I just board the train? 

I will travel from Berlin to Budapest by night train. I made a seat reservation (39€ for couchette). The ticket I received is for Francfort to Budapest. But I think that the Berlin-Francfort part of the trip doesn't need a seat reservation using Interrail pass. Berlin-Budapest part of the trip is only 40min. Do you think I can take the train from Berlin or should I take it from Francfort ? Thank you!!

I want to go from Girona, Spain to Zurich. I looked it up on my interrail app and it said seat reservations from €12, and the only option was to book at the station. However, now we’re here, the people at the station told us you can only buy tickets online and those tickets are €129. I obviously don’t wanna spend so much money. Does anyone know how i can get out of spain without spending so much money?

There are no trains shown in the system, why?

We planned to travel from Amsterdam to Brussels by IC on Sunday 03/09/23 with a brief stopover at Anrtwerp.1. We can stop at Brussel Central Station. Is that right?We can stop at any station along the journey as long as the journey is completed within a day? Eurail Rail Planner shows ‘supplement needed’ but Seat 61 mentioned that that is not the case. I understand that no other fees(reservation, supplementary or any others) for the journey. Just get on the train and go. Is that right?               So I just add the journey on Rail Planner and ignore everything else. Is that right?Is there any station on the way for a stopover at Atomium? 

Hey!Last year we already traveled with interrail and thought we had everything under control…. I went this afternoon to the counter to book our first trip (already bought the interrail pass online) and they told me that it is no longer possible to reserver for trains going from spain to paris. i tried throught the app (not working) and also in the sncf page (I do not know how to link the ticket to my interrail pass). Can someone enlighten us 🙏? Thanks in advance! Marian

Seat Reservation Eurail I have been trying to book seat reservations as required TVG Train - Annecy to Paris 9.29 - 13.14 11 Sep 2023I have tried numerous times today but each time I go to checkout I get this message.(Sorry, something went wrong. I have already added the journey to my trip in the Eurail app. this journey isn’t until Thursday 3rd of August. I am just a little worried about the connection time from Lille Europe to London. Arrive Lille Europe at 10:17am departure at 11:35am might be tight clearing boarder inspection.

i want to make a reservation from warsaw to vienna but there is no price for it. is it possible to make a reservation anyway or should i look for another option? 

I'm looking for reservations in France for august. Deutsche Bahn said, there are no reservations left anymore.I don't have a pass yet because maybe I won't go by interrail. Therefore I can't check, if there are reservations left.I thougt that maybe there are reservations left on the interrail page. Does somebody know if there is a interrail reservation budget?

Eurail Pass user. Departing from Amsterdam by IC. 1. Amsterdam -> Brussels train 2. Brussels. → Paris. The Brussels-Paris train has been booked, but the Amsterdam-Brussels trains are by IC, so I didn't reserve a seat separately. It didn't say "Seat reservation required" but it said "Supplement required". But now I've searched for the train service again, and this section doesn't come out. So I'm wondering if I have to get a train ticket again. The train leaves IC9232 at 11:28.

Hi allTaking the Nightjet from Bruxelles Midi to Vienna with the family on Wed 9th August, using Interrail passes. Have a Eurostar arriving at 18.02 in Bruxelles Midi, and the NJ425 was due to leave at 19.32. OBB have just told us it has been brought forward to 18.26...Can anyone tell me what platform at Bruxelles Midi the Nightjet leaves from? And what the transfer time might be? 24 minutes might be pushing it...I can exchange Eurostar ticket, but only available is 9am, and with a fee… Thanks

I have a sleeper train booked from ljubliana to budapest on 26/08/23 leaving at 00:30. I will be in zagreb on the 25 and was planning on getting the 19:30 from zagreb to ljubliana to arrive at 21:47. However I can seem to reserve a ticket, I can’t tell if it is fully booked or not as OBB says its unavailable and so does eurail. I tried both croatian and slovenian rail companies website but I couldn’t find the journey.  Will I be able to book this at the station or is it fully booked and I have to find an alternate route? 

It is not possible to make a reservation on the euronight EN 40465 from Ljubljana to Zagreb. Not here and not at the OBB website. It says: ticket not available. Still I would like to take that train at the end of August. Any suggestion?
