Train connections & reservations

Hi, I need to book a ticket for a night train from Zagreb to Split in August. As you can see on this picture apparently I have to pay 9 euros for the ticket being sent by post + I will be already abroad when this ticket will arrive at my place. Can someone help me on that matter ? Is it better then to book this ticket directly when I’ll be in Zagreb ? Thanks in advance :)

I have a continuous 1st Class Interrail Pass and I want to take the 08.22 EC273 from Brno to Gdansk on Saturday 15th July (tomorrow). I went to the information desk at Brno train station yesterday to make reservations for the two legs of the journey which involve Polish trains and successfully bought a reservation for the Krakow-Gdańsk leg. However, the Czech lady I spoke to at the desk indicated that it was not possible to purchase a reservation for part-Polish section (Breclav-Krakow) of the Brno-Krakow leg of the journey.Can I still board the train and travel to Krakow without a seat reservation if I am prepared to stand all the way?If not, am I able to exchange or get reimbursed for the reservation I paid for (Krakow-Gdańsk) in order to make my journey on another date when I can reserve seats for the entirety of the Polish sections of the Brno-Gdańsk trip?

Hi all!  So I have booked seat reservations for my upcoming trip in August through the Interrail website however when I try find these journey’s on the app they don’t appear. Therefore I have had to add these as a manual entry! if my journey has multiple changes, do I need to enter these manually as one trip with the full start to finish location, or do I do this with where the changes take place too? For example if it was Berlin- Duisburg then Duisburg-Prague does it need to be put on the app like this or will Berlin-Prague be accepted? Also is there any way I can link my seat reservations onto my pass or do they just have to be kept seperately? Thanks in advance😄  

Hey trying to book Seat reservations through italy and france so that my trip doesnt take 24 hours, but when giving the passwordet information, my physical pass cover number doesnt work. Help!!!

There’s going to be 2 of us travelling toghether and we want to book seats from the “Rail Planner” App. The thing is that we have added two passes to the same device, but they are on different journeys. So when we make the seat reservation there is no record that there are two people and only one seat is reserved. How can we book both seats at the same time through the application?

Does anyone know the extension for the RENFE number to speak to someone in English? I have tried calling the number but am unable to go through on my personal phone. When I previously called in my home country I had no problem getting through and speaking to someone. I have tried using a friend’s phone and can only get to an automated Spanish line and am having trouble figuring out how to switch it to English. Otherwise does anyone have advice for making the reservations for Barcelona to Madrid and Madrid to Lisbon?

[NEED HELP ASAP]Hi!My family and I (4 pax) will be traveling to Spain and Portugal this coming September up until October. We will be visiting Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Madrid, and Lisbon, Portugal at the minimum. The trip starts and ends in Barcelona.I was wondering if the Eurail pass can be used for our transfers between the different Spanish cities? If yes, do the travel days have to be consecutive or can we choose different travel days within our trip? Is the Eurail pass even worth it for these transfers?Alternatively, can anyone recommend a better (and hopefully cheaper) way to visit these cities? I’ve just been considering booking individual train trips through renfe, but I was hoping there was a cheaper option.Thank you for your help!

I’ve heard it’s easier for a couple to each buy their own pass separately and download their individual pass onto their own phones. How easy is it for one person to reserve two seats together? Does each person have to reserve their own seat separately?

I could not find a precise answer to this question : most answers refer to activating the pass, but my question is whether I can add a journey on an active day (after I already completed a journey on that same day using my interrail global pass).Here is a concrete example : I use my interrail global pass to take a train, in the morning, from Hamburg to Koln (thus the pass has been activated, and the travel day associated with this journey is active). When I arrive in Koln, I decide to go further away and take a train, in the evening, to go from Koln to Liège. The two journeys are performed on the same day but the first journey Hamburg-Koln was planned and the second journey Koln-Liège was decided on the go. Can I add the journey Koln-Liège on my pass although the day is already active ?Mike

I just looked out my reservations and looked again online. I found that the train on 24.07.23 from Milano Centrale to Napoli Centrale no longer exists. I have it reserved from 4:10pm to 9:13pm (train number: Frecciarossa 9551), but online I can only find a train from 4:30pm to 9:03pm (train number: Frecciarossa 9647).What can I do now that I have already paid and booked the reservation?

I am trying to reserve a train from Barcelona to Paris on 14 August 2023. Eurail website instructs me to go to SNCF. On the SNCF website, there is no way to reserve a seat without buying a ticket.Please advise ASAP. The train I wanted to go on is already booked!anne france

I have been looking online, Tirano to Milan has a bus replacing the start of the journey, how reliable is this bus? Are there heaps of seats available? Does is leave on schedule?I’m hoping to catch the 14:56 to arrive in Milan at 17:40, then catch a train to Florence. How long should I leave fore the transfer in Milan? Can I leave it to last minute to reserve seat on the train to Florence? or will it be sold out?Am I better of to stay a night in Milan then get an early train to Florence?I’m looking to travel late August  

HiHas anyone taken this train without a reservation when it says it is sold out? VY.no tell me it is up to the conductor of the train, as often people don’t show up. can I sit in the restaurant car? Can I board the train anyway? My pass is valid, just no reservation

Hellotrying to book from Lillie (France) to Basel (Switzerland) but Eurail website is hopeless at all reservations but I can’t find a non eurail company that puts the eurail pass in and accepts Lillie and Basel as options  help please 

Hi on the eurail app, I am trying to book a ticket for 28th September, I get all the way into the payment section from the app and it says “brit rail pass”...why doesn’t it show eurail pass, do I need to book a seat in September or can I wait until September and go to a booking office when we arrive….I am travelling with my husband, so he will need to reserve a seat also….we are from Australia.I would be greatful, if someone could help me.kind regardsSharon

HI. I thought we couldn’t reserve trains but I managed ot get prices and put traveller information in for Santander-Madrid and also Madrid-Barcelone It all goes well until the payment part where it then says - this connection is no longer available. Is something new going on and is something broken? Thank you

Hi, I'm planning to book a reservation Paris-strasbourg to then take a trip to stuttgart, but I this path need at least 12€ reservation, and I don't see on the app where I can deal with this.I can add it to the cart with the website to pay it, but I don't know if it will make it work on the app, how can I join it to my pass ? Because I don't see the same trip on the app and on the website.Thanks by advance for any advices

I’m currently on a delayed train started from innsbruck to Verona porta nuova and we reached Trento station which we were delayed for over 1 hour which means we have now missed our connecting train and paid seat reservations that we have missed now. What happens now? 

Hi there, Just wanted to double check whether or not I need a supplement to travel from Amsterdam to Rotterdam (I am travelling from Amsterdam Centraal to London) as it suggests in the Eurail planner app? I am just a little confused as I have gotten mixed information, with some people saying yes and some people saying that's old information. I tried to book a supplement online and it only gives Rotterdam and Schipol as options for starting stations and no option for Amsterdam. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Hi : I’m looking for help with my Blue Star Ferries reservations in only 20 days. When filling the infos for embarkation during the seat reservation, under the passport / ID number section, it indicates “type letters or numbers”. My passport is a 00XX00000 type.The reservation never succeeds and I always find myself stuck in front of this error message.Has somebody ever had the same problem ? Does anyone have a solution please ? The trip is very very close. Thanks

Hi everybody! I’m leaving for Malmo this sunday and I’m wondering if my travel is really doable in a one day trip considering the short transfer the app is giving me.  Is any of these trips doable ? And which one of them would you consider doing ? Thanks in advance for your answers!ps : it’s the first time I use a pass for travelling, and I also wonder the difference between “train change” and “transfer by foot”.  

I’m trying to book the night train from Krakow to Vienna on the Cd.cz website however it is telling me that the ticket is unavailable.On the interrail website it says it opens 60 days in advance.I looked at this train 58 days in advance.Is it sold out already?!!!!Please please help!!!!!!!
