Train connections & reservations

Hi, I’d like to get from Munich to Split from 8.7. to 9.7.There is this wonderful connection: It uses EN1153 but as soon as I login, the sleeper options (a bed) for the reservation are not visible any more. Also, on oebb.at, I cannot find any sleeper options. Does that mean that there are no sleepers available any more? Are there any other possibilities to get a bed in a (possibly different) night train on this date?btw. I have an interrail global ticket Thanks for your help:) Best, Lucky

After my supposedly "great" experience last year, I adamantly swore to myself never to use Interrail again. Yet here I am, stuck with a ticket for free courtesy of the Elysee-Contract. If only I had known that it would be another damn Interrail ticket, I wouldn't have even considered accepting it, even though it is for free!And what do you know, I'm facing the exact same issue as before: the absolute impossibility of booking reservations to France. I've exhausted every possible avenue—Interrail.eu, Eurail, sketchy websites, the DB service Point, and even reached out to a supposedly competent DB service point I stumbled upon in a forum. I've wasted more than 10 infuriating hours scouring for reservations, and what do I have to show for it? Absolutely nothing! Even the so-called "competent" service point admitted to encountering errors while attempting to book the reservations.The whole point of the Elysee-Contract is to strengthen the bond between Germany and France. 2 adults, 2 kids (11 yo and 14 yo )  going from Costa Brava Spain to Paris on July 3. the one country pass is so much less expensive I’m wondering if there is a way to take a taxi or short train trip to Perpignan and then switch to the fast train? Or any other suggestions? We want to take the fast train and might do first class since its the kids first train ride and could be fun. 

Hello,We want to go from Frankfurt to Barcelona from the 5th to the 6th and we cannot make the reservations now as we are starting our interrail in one week and cannot obtain etickets from these destinations. Could you help us find something ? It is not very reassuring for us not to have an option and buy them in situ.Thanks :)

Hi,We want to do Oslo - Bergen on the 23rd and Bergen -Oslo on the 26th (both at night arriving early in the morning the day after). We haven’t done the reservation yet and we are leaving in a week. We are concerned because we can only obtain paper tickets by reserving these trips and we don’t know if buying the ticket in site is the best idea.Can you help us with this matter?Thanks :)

Hello, on Eurail seat reservation confirmation page, gives an error “ Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.”. am stuck and cannot reserve seats for my travels. can someone help?

I just booked reservations (2) for Lyria 9270 from Lausanne to Dijon in September. We were assigned side-by-side seats, but on the upper level of the carriage. Also, there are better seats available in other cars with club seating with a table. We are not happy with the seat assignment since we are both over 75 and don’t want to carry luggage up and down the steps in the carriage. Eurail needs to step up their game and allow either active seat selection or ask for seat preferences. I’m trying to contact them now to see if the seats can be changed. Any advice?

Ya compré un pase global por 2 meses. Llego a Madrid desde Bolivia el 2 de julio y el tren a Barcelona me dice que requiere reserva EN TAQUILLA. Ya lo tengo añadido en mi pase. Yo llego 5 horas antes, que ocurre si no hay espacios?Pierdo el tren? 

Hi everyone, I’d like to take the overnight train departing from Budapest on 23/08/2023 at 19h10 and arriving at Bucharest on 24/08/2023 at 11h19. I’ve tried booking the journey online through interrail website but it looks like I can only get the tickets delivered by mail. I’ve tried to book the journey directly on OBB and DB websites but I couldn’t go through with the reservation. Any thoughts or suggestions on a way to book this train and get e-tickets ?  Thanks !

Morning! I was reading that the EC trains from Germany can sometimes get delayed so I wondered if any of you seasoned travellers could have a look at my route and let me know if you think there’s enough room in there should there be any slight delays. Hello,Can anyone explain to me how does the supplement required in IC Trains in the Netherlands work? I’ve been reading some answers to similar questions related to this topic here but I’m still in doubt if it’s due to going to the airport that I need to pay the supplement. In the DiscoverEU portal says that I need to buy it so I can open the gates at the Brussels Airport at my arrival from Amsterdam Centraal and that it is available at train stations and online. How much does this supplement cost and do I really need to pay for it? I have a FLEX pass btw.And do this IC trains get too full? I’m quite stressed about this journey because it’s my last connection (I have a flight later that day) and I don’t want to be surprised there. Where can I really buy this supplement and is this connection really frequent?Thank you so much!

I purchased my DB Bahn seat reservations from the Interrail website. I received a PDF with a blurred QR-code. I wonder is there a way to transfer these tickets to the DB Bahn app instead of having various PDF-documents?The app asks for a 9-figure order number, but that can’t be found on the PDF. It just says Eurail.

I’m wondering that, if I buy a first class pass rather than a second. Is the reservation fee for the first class gonna be lower or not.Also I’m going to take the night train as well, is the price going to be different between them? Thx a lot 

Hi am travelling from Zagreb to Budapest in July on the IC201 1635  arriving 2216 and the app says I need reservations but I just don't seem to be able to do it. Should I just wing it and turn up (and risk not getting to my accommodation in Budapest)? Any advice welcomed. Thanks Martin

On 7 August i will take the EN40414 from Ljubljana to Villach, where i have to change for my next leg to Italy. Here i have the choice to take the NJ1295 to Bologne or the NJ233 to Milano. EN40414 arrival: 23.48NJ1295 departure: 0.55NJ233 departure: 1.34I was wondering if i would make the transit in 1 hour or if I'm more safe to take the train to Milan. I have no preference, because later i'll go to Rome. Has anyone tips for this transit? And how punctual are these trains?

 I have purchased a Eurail Global pass for 5 days in 1 month. I plan on taking EC-47 train from Geneva to Milan on June 18th, departure at 7:39am.I am trying to reserve seats on EC-47 but this train does not show up on Eurail seat reservation. Can someone please let me know if EC-47 is not covered by Eurail Global pass? or am I doing something wrong? Will very much appreciate your response.

Hi. I have a 4 day in a month pass activated this morning but bought via “My Interrail” rather than the eurail site (there was a cash back offer before Christmas).  I’m trying to book a Strasbourg to Paris ticket for Thursday via the only website that I can do it on I think, correct me if I’m wrong,  this being www.interrail.eu. However it returns the message, “Your Pass isn't valid on this date” when searching. I’ve deleted old passes on the site and the only one pass in the “My Trips & Travellers” section is the one activated today. Any thoughts please? 

Hi, my app working so far OK - but since this day when I go for My Trip > in “View as list” section where have my connections added, if I click on any connection for detailed info for each train (past or upcomming), the app show for me only starting and ending station. But will not unroll/list all the stations on the way. Thus can’t see where actually I’m at the time, calculate delay agains maps/GPS position when arriving at some station. So far phone restarted, restarted application - several times. I’m not on VPN, do have internet, at full speed now, no throttling applied, all other applications working well. App is with full acces within Android for all what is needed. I see only this: When tapping in the area roughly defined by the height of yellow line - usually it shows me all the stops on the way. But not this time. It won’t react anymore. Before this issue such action resolved in this result (pic added is a cropped out prtscn):  I noticed “last timetable updated:” info - but

I booked and paid for seat reservations for Firenze SM Novella- Milano Porta Garibaldi and Milano Centrale-Spiez at the Eurail website against my account. Times on these paid-up seat reservations are 12.10pm depart Firenze 10/7/23 and 15.20 depart Milano same day.HOWEVER, neither the Eurail website nor the Trenitalia now show any train departing Firenze SMN at 12.10pm 10/7/23 even though I have paid for this reservation. (The Milano Centrale-Spiez train 15.20pm 10/7/23 seems to exist).Is my Eurail pass and/or seat reservation of any use?I contacted Eurail support but they simply said wait several weeks for the train schedules to be repopulated online. I have double checked 2 weeks later and the 12.10 Firenze train still does not exist 10/7.Is my paid up seat reservation with Eurail valid or of any use? I have no confidence in the situation. Should I buy yet another reservation on another Firenze service to Spiez - BUT I note these have different routes - via Bologne which requires yet

Hello, I booked Eurostar through Eurail, but I booked the seat on the SNCB website. I just realized I picked the wrong time. I originally wanted to book for July 6th, but I chose July 13th, can you change the time for me? I have already tried to ask SNCB and eroustar to change the ticket, but their official website information said that if I want to change the price of the entire train trip, not just the seat price, but I have already ordered the train ticket through the eurail official website. Why do I change the ticket? Still need to pay the full amount?

Hi everyone! I will travel in August:Barcelona to Toulouse: I wanted to do Barcelona - La Tour de Carol with line R3 of Rodalies de Catalunya (Renfe) and then La tour de Carol - Toulouse with TER (SNCF). On another date I want to take a TER Lyon - Annecy. For the Rodalies de Catalunya R3 train, do I just walk in the train and show my pass to the ticket inspector? Is there anything I should be aware of? I know how Spanish stations work (I am from Barcelona) but I don’t know what I’ll need inside of the train. For the TER, same question: do I just get in and show the pass? I read somewhere that last year TER trains in south-east were taken out of interrail but shortly after the pass was accepted again so I guess it should be okay. All the information you can provide will be highly appreciated! Strasbourg to Paris in August reservation booking portal entry spinning out different booking prices or will display as not available for booking. Eventually paid £38.28 for 2 second class reservations is this the correct price.
