Train connections & reservations

Can anyone help?Whenecer I am trying to get a seat reservation for the eurostar from london to paris I get an error that m pass is not valid on the date even though it is. Did anyone have the same problem so far? I had another pass that has expired a week ago, but have a new one now. Aktivates that one.  

I know you need a purchased pass to make a reservation for Eurostar- but can one pass be used to book two seats?I have a pass already. A friend is buying one (paper pass so delay to get delivered). There are still seats now on the Eurostar train we want, so I am wondering if there is any way to buy two seats with my pass, but for different names, using either the Eurail/interrail booking system or b-europe? 

Hello, guys! I’m planing on going to Lviv or Kyiv but I can’t seem to find any trains to go there, not even from close countries like Bulgaria. I’m in the Netherlands right now and I know it’s like 2 days to get to Ukraine but I just want to know if there is at least one way to get therethanks!

I want to travel form sevilla to lisbon but the interrail site is not showing any connections.I can also travel from madrid to lisbon but there also no connections. 

How i get from Porto to Madrid?  

Hello, I plan on the last day of my interrail pass to go from Copenhagen to Paris by train.On DB website it shows the following trip with many short connections. From your experience do you think it will work?My main concern is the first 7' connection in Fredericia. If it doesn’t work the next train will bring me to Hamburg at 14:05 instead of 12:05 and I’m afraid it will be too late to reach Paris, the same day. Do you have any advice if it happens to me as it will be my last of my four days interrail pass? Will DB help me in reaching Paris on the next day?If the first connection in Fredericia works well, I have more flexibility as they're many trains from Hamburg to Mannheim.Then, from Mannheim if I miss the SNCF TGV train at 17:38 I can take DB ICE at 18:38. However, as these are mandatory booking trains do you think I’ll be able to take the DB ICE train instead of the TGV SNCF train?Thanks for all your advices.  

Hi, family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children--9 and 11) traveling from France to Sweden from July 26- August 8.  This is a dream trip for us, especially our son who LOVES trains!  We’re first time Interrail users, and trying to understand how to reserve seats.  There are no seats showing up for the trips and dates we’re looking for.  What do we do next?  Help and advice appreciated

Hi there,I try to find the trains from Katowice to Helsinki, Turku via the Baltic States. It is hard to find the proper connections (if any..).From Katowice via Lithuania, Letland and then in Estland the ferry. Anybody any ideas, experiences?Thanks for sharing,Karel

Hi! I have a question about booking seats together when we have different passes. My friend has 7 days in 1 month, I want to buy 10 days in 2 months. We will travel separately for a few days, but then together in France and the Netherlands, where we need reservations. How do we get those reservations to be next to each other? Thanks!

Hello :)I know that I need a reservation for most of the nighttrains. Do I need a seat reservation on day , too? And how do I regonize? For example I want to drive from Stockholm to Kopenhaven. Is it possible to get in every train without reservation and in case of no free seat sit on the floor? Actually I bought the interrail pass to move freely. Didnt know you have to reservate a lot of trains month before 😅 Thanks you guys :)) 

This is my first time booking a train Eurail pass in France. When I tried to make a seat reservation for the trains that I wanted, it did not allow me to book a seat and said that one part of the train was not available. However, when I looked on www.sncf.com, it said that there were 10 seats available. This is my first time in France and I really need to get seats on these two trains as I have a presentation at beasancon at 4:00 pm. Would it be possible for you to help me with this reservation? If I go to the train station in the morning, would it be possible to make the seat reservation using machine ? or alternative options 

I’m trying to book Eurostar tickets for August.  The timetable comes up but when I click on the journey nothing happens - it just doesn’t seem to activate in order to proceed with the reservation. Any tips?  I’ve just bought my pass and not been interrailing before so I’m new to this.

Hi, I have a question related to ticket reservations. We want to go from Barcelona to Paris by TGV, and then from Paris to Mannheim in ICE, all in august. When I try to make the reservations the interrail app says "You can book this trip 90 days in advance". And it does'nt show any way to make the reservation. So I understand that I can not book the tickets until first of may, right? I have received an email from Interrail web insisted me on make the reservation that now I'm worried about running out of reserves. But I guess I have to wait until may, is that correct?

Hi I try to do db reservations  from paris est to strasbourg on22/7. But db Don't accept  . Also I Don't understand  the highlight below, (i bought  global pass), someone pls advice. Tq 

I am trying to book seat reservations for myself and a group of friends (6 including me) for a journey going from Budapest to Venice (you end up having to go to Wein then back to Venice). This is a part of a larger trip we are taking around Europe.When I book it says this leg of the journey is unavailable please try a different, so I look up this error and find out it may be because there are 6 people in our “trip” I’ve set up.I was wondering if it would be possible to link my pass to two “trips”: one for “trip” of 6 people which is to be used for the majority of journeys taken between countries and another for the one journey where we need to potentially split into two groups in order to be able to book seat reservations. We each have our own passes.

Me and my 3 friends are going interrailing for the month of a July. I went online there to reserve our train tickets but mostly all of the trains say “prices unavailable” as it is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out. If a train requires a seat reservation will we still be able to board without paying for the reservation, will our interrailing ticket cover us? We are aware we would possibly be left with no seat but this does not bother us as we just want to ensure we get onto the train. It says on the websight to try booking a train reservation ticket at the train station but being honest we don’t want to rely on that as we are 4 young girls and we do not want to wait until the day to find out if we will be able to board the train or not as it could be sold out on the day as we are going at peak time and we do not want to be stuck in a foreign country we don’t know our surroundings in. So since it won’t allow me to reserve tickets as it’s saying prices unavailable will we s

pls help me I’m so lost here. I need to get from north Italy to Barcelona on July 5th and I wish to do it by night train. I found this train through eurail https://shop.italiarail.com/options?departureStationId=830001700&arrivalStationId=830012041&departureDate=2023-07-05&adults=1&children=1&railcardType=0 but I don’t understand anything. It shows me the same prices that I see in their site, so eurail is no good here? how do I find a night train ( without changes) that gets me to barcelona (or even anywhere, just for the night train experience)?

We are travelling tomorrow in the Thalys from Brussels-Midi to Gare du Nord. My seat reservation is for 9422 but the train number coming up in the rail planner is 9322. The trains appear to be the exact same schedule. Is it the same train or do I need to somehow find the 9422 in the planner? If it is the same will it be an issue that my ticket is 9322 but my reservation is for 9422? Thanks!

​Hello, we have bought two Eurail global mobile passes (1st class) and have encountered difficulty making seat reservation for two trains:(1) from Geneve to Paris Gare De Lyon departs at 08:29 on 26 May 2023 (TGV 9764; 1st class seat); and(2) from London St Pancras Intl to Paris Nord departs at 15:31 on 4 June 2023 (ES 9036; 1st class seat). After inputt​​ing billing address, credit card information and all travellers’ details, we got an error message “Something went wrong” when proceeding with the payment for seat reservation (see the screenshot below), and thus could not complete the payment. We also tried refreshing the page, using an incognito browser and cleaning cookies/temporary files but still did not work. Please advise how the issue could be resolved. Many thanks in advance.  

I live in Switzerland and have a general pass, so I can travel on any train in the whole country without buying additional tickets. I want to buy a one country pass for italy 4 days to go visit my boyfriend in Rome two weekends during a month. Now, since by buying it I could travel without buying an additional ticket in Switzerland and in Italy, but not from Switzerland to Italy and back, I need to buy a ticket to get through the border. My question is, can I buy one ticket from the last stop before the border in Switzerland to the first stop after the border in Italy (Como) or do I need to buy the ticket from the stop I get on the train to the stop i get off (Milan)?

Hi, I am going from Interlaken to Paris on the 4th May with my pass but I don’t know the best way as it saying not in pass network. 

Hi, I read online that it is possible to book reservations on trainplanet.com for like trains in France, Italy, FR-DE and others. I looked now the website, you have to select that you have an Interrail pass and you get the reservation cost. But I don't know if this is a new service or if it is linked to eurail.com/interrail.eu reservation service.Prices only in Swedish Krona.Like for trains in Germany it asks 65 SEK, DE-FR TGV/ICE 290 SEK or TGVs in France 211 SEK.
