Rail strikes in Italy will impact train travel from 21:18 (9:18 PM) on 7 September to 21:00 (9:00 p.m.) on 8 September CET. Due to the strike, a limited number of trains will be running, and alternative train services will operate in accordance with Trenitalia railway staff availability.

We recommend checking the planner in the Rail Planner App or the Trenitalia timetable shortly before departing for your planned journey for up-to-date train times. To find out more about the strike, please read the Trenitalia's strike announcement.

The lists of guaranteed services can be consulted on the official Trenitalia Schedule and on www.trenitalia.com, for Trenord on the website www.trenord.it and for Trenitalia Tper on the website www.trenitaliatper.it.

As you can see in the list of guaranteed trains, FR 9728 is not guaranteed, and EC 64 is guaranteed.

9728 is not marked as cancelled yet on trenitalia.com. You could change your reservation to a guaranteed train, just to be sure.

Note: it is not recommended at all to use the Rail Planner app for planning, especially not in case of disruption.
