When will it be possible to book a trip for 2027 using the new plan?

It depends on the operator. Reservations can open anything from a few weeks to 12 months ahead.

There’s a good guide here.

Bear in mind the December timetable change often delays things a lot.

Some trains can already be booked. Interrail is always late publishing the new annual timetable, so don't go looking there.

Some railway companies (like in Spain) are notoriously late in uploading their new timetables for 2027.

Just take a look for a random date somewhere in the next days, if you want to get an indication for the traveltime and frequencies. The timetables usually don’t change that much.
