Things to do in Frankfurt

Hi,

We are on the way back from Lichtenstein and thinking of making a stop in Frankfurt for few hours. Anything you would recommend?

Thanks

Apart from the obvious (Römer, and surrounding area), it's a pleasant city once you get away from the station

Get a rental bike and pedal along the pleasant riverside, then through the circular park (Wallanlagen). Plenty of interesting sites to stop, and food and drink stops

It's not very German, but I liked the Indian food & craft beer at TapHouse, which is in a quiet neighborhood.

Other Things worth a visit in Frankfurt:

  • Palmengarten (lots of interesting plants in tropical greenhouses and more)
  • Senckenberg Naturmuseum (big natural history Museum)

I have visited both and would recommend them. (not quite sure how much of the information was also provided in english in the museum, as i speak german)

@LinaK

I recommend the Städel Museum.
